Once thought of as a bit pricy, and it can be if you but some of their unusual items. Standard fare is good prices…..they have also jumped on the price match bandwagon which is good for customers. Quality is still better than average

Like the shop, close to my house. But totally fed up of having to que to pay for my shopping with real money. When there are empty pay by card checkouts. I dont want to get in debt and so use real money so it’s easy to keep track. Why are shops pushing to get us to stop using cash?

A lovely lady was on the self checkouts today. It really makes a difference to your shopping experience. Wish I’d got her name.

This one is getting on a bit now. Shame the Armada Centre isn’t how it used to be. However, this is still a very convenient store to have in town and has everything you need for a decent shop. When I take the kids in and they help at the self service, the staff are always kind to them, and helpful when needed

Tonight I wanted to give 0 stars. The lack of trained floor staff is one thing. But this evening the was NO staff around the new payment tills. After 10mins of waiting for a member of staff ( with the red light flashing above the till). I left…… Very disappointed

Missing item. Shop refused to believe me, said CCTV shows it being packed & won’t deliver missing item saying its Deliveroo’s problem if I didn’t get full order. Did the driver really substitute a £20 item for a pkt fag papers? I’d rather not believe that. But if so that’s theft. Told them fine I will report to police. Update: after me speaking to Deliveroo, shop phoned & admitted it was their error. So what exactly did they see on their CCTV & did they really check? Am glad to know driver really not the thief, bad of the shop to blame it on him. I gave the Risla papers to the new driver & asked to take a photo of them in his hand, not his face, just as evidence that I had given them to him, but he refused to take the Risla back to the shop! This has taken an hour of my time to sort out. If I could have got out to shop it wld have been much quicker & less expensive. Some people can’t get out, so we pay higher prices than in-shop purchases. Missing item finally arrived after more than an hour.

I ordered from Sainsbury’s a couple of times and was ok,l wasn’t really impressed. This little store however changed that. I started ordering from here a couple of months ago and I never went back to ordering from anywhere else. It’s fast, convenient and most importantly has a decent selection of foods. I also like the fact that if an item is not in stock it gets removed from the order and refunded rather than substituted. They always deliver in a timely manner. I get my groceries fast and easy without the hastle of going out each time I need something. Highly recommended local store

Their self service tills are awful. Tiny little platform to put your items on. Still have to wait for the cashier to verify age and put in pin etc. Could have a camera confirmation like on coop up the road Sandra!!!!!

  1. I loved going into this store. I went in for lunch which was well cooked tasty and well presented, in very organise clean restaurant, food delivered to your table. After I found myself meandering through the different isles, wishing I had money to spare. The store is completely disabled friendly, with disabled parking close to entrance. Toilets lovely and clean. If you are ever near Marsh Mills in Plymouth pop in and enjoy the surprise.

  2. It’s very cold, which is great if you want to cool down. Love the fact that they sell Estrella and Korev fridge packs.

  3. Huge store selling just about everything with toilets, café, cashier & self serve kiosks.
Store is well organised & offers more choice in each of its sections, compared to it’s smaller stores.
Equally huge carpark located just started in front of supermarket.
Had lunch at café which is well organised, particularly if requiring hot meal. Chose beer batter fish, chips & peas, was given numbered post, paid for meal & beverage, then sat down. A little while later, food was served piping hot. (This is a much better way of ensuring customers have their food hot, rather than be served from a hot plate, only to then queue & pay, by which time food will have gone cold.
Only disappointment was that cutlery baskets were not checked. Teaspoon section almost empty, with other baskets containing many knives /forks which hadn’t been washed thoroughly. I did take one example to cashier behind food counter, showing her a very dirty knife & advising her the rest was in a similar state, although felt little would be done as they were clearly busy, although this truthfully is not acceptable.)

  4. I was disappointed that the Japanese food kiosk that does sushi, mochi etc didn’t have any fresh food available. I wanted mochi! But the entire store is fine

  5. Haven’t shopped in Salisburys for a little while, as it’s in a place out the way from me. But was very pleased it hadn’t changed that much. Lovely big shopping isles and a good selection of goods. The sale rail was great got a few bargains. Will go there more often.
