What idiot designed the car park? You had over 20 years to get it right, and failed utterly. The roundabout was already a bottle neck before the new junction was added, perhaps an elementary course in planning is in order. No idea if the shop is any good, as by the time I got close enough to see the queue to get out I had decided that life was too short and it would be quicker to go to the one in Northfield. Zero stars4 years agoThis new Sainsbury’s is a lovely shop with a good variety of essentials. Unfortunately, it is a nightmare to get out of the car park. Took me 20 minutes and it wasn’t even rush hour4 months agoLoads of convenient free parking. Trolleys are readily available.For me these two provisions are important considerations about where I shop. The store combines Habitat, Argos and Tu label clothing. There’s a good range of household products and clothes at moderate prices for every day use and wear. The food section is the main reason I choose to shop at this hyper store. There is a wide range of choices in terms of taste and affordability. Interestingly, there is an increasing range of halal and vegan/vegetarian food, a reflection perhaps of the cosmopolitan population in Birmingham. What about kosher? Prices are very good for the quality of products. Most have sell-by dates that allow for not having to shop every day. Have yet to experience the store’s restaurant or food hub. It’s popular, so probably that’s good too.a month agoAlways a comforting shooing experience. Well spaced out large variety and moderate pricing. Some unique things which you can’t find in other shops. A lot checkout counters and never a queue.

2 weeks agoI think Sainsbury’s is the best supermarket in the UK. Their bakery items are so delicious and their food selection is great. The clothes department is also notable. The staff is friendly and helpful. In-store argos is also a plus which makes shopping more enjoyable. The only downside is that it tends to be expensive than other supermarkets.5 months agoMake sure you check the use by dates on any products you buy. This store has a habit of not removing from sale food that has passed its use by date (this morning I purchased out of date bacon). When returning the product to store I was made to feel as though I was lying because I didn’t have a receipt, I am sure it would have been easy for them to check their systems as I had the exact transaction time on my banking app. Customer service is appalling.5 months agoFlat pack mince beef ! … its awful..very compressed & dry… another money saving idea from a supermarket…. ..shame price has gone up….again. .4 months agoI’m a wheelchair user. My husband and I couldn’t find a trolley to fit the chair, we ended up waiting for 1 from another shopper, thankfully, we didn’t have to wait too long. This isn’t the first time we’ve encountered problems here, it would help if more trolleys were available. The shelves were well stocked. We only went in for a cream cake, but came out £30 lighter 😂 There is sufficient space for more self checkout tills to be made available, we used this service and found it to be very popular. There has been no news from this store about the closure of it’s very popular cafe, plus no plans to reopen the front doors since COVID.a month agoThis place has become an absolute joke. Rude lazy staff who just hang around chatting and play merry hell should they have to go on a checkout. . The so called line manager just hides in corners and is extremely rude should she be disturbed by any aspects of actual work – management take note her name tag said Sharon. But fair’s fair – she is equally rude to colleagues and customers alike. Out of date food left on shelves, items covered in dust and huge gaps in displays. Just don’t bother and go somewhere else.

There also speaks savers inside. They do sell plants but b&m wamley have cheaper and healthier ones
Sainsbury’s Market are located in between Birmingham and Royal Sutton Coldfield. The place can be busy in peak hours, however it’s a high capacity car park, so that is easy to reach. There’s Argos in store and Sainsbury’s petrol station located nearby. Good place for shopping.
I go here as a regular pass by shopping stop just around from the fort, there is a few more grocery speciality items in here and also an Argos which is convenient for me.
And if you like there’s a Starbucks with a large seating area located just after the payment points.
Went when it was dark, no lights outside and would not have got out of the car if I was on my own. Even then did not feel very safe.
Will not be visiting when it is dark again.
