a week agoMy go to store… I prefer Sainsbury’s as this is a big store and has more options… Since Sainsbury’s have a far East Asian section it becomes easier for me to shop. And if you have a nectar card you are good to go.Enjoy shopping at Sainsbury’s🤗
a week agoTypical store but with less range than the monks cross larger store. Good parking for average sized vehicles. Campers etc better at the other store2 months agoFantastic service from every member of staff I spoke to and asked for help. And those I didn’t, all smiled and acknowledged me. Too many amazing people to mention individually and if the store manager would like specifics, please get in touch. Thank you all and be proud of what you’re doing 💜2 months agoCar park free for 1 hour and then you have to pay but you get it back if you purchase items over £10 I believe. Only one till manned but plenty of self checkout. Well stocked. Make sure you take your Nectar card for cheaper prices!2 months agoSlightly disappointed. Didn’t have everything I wanted. Otherwise good value for things I did get. The nectar rewards needs work, you can tell the offers based on past purchases are selected by a machine and not by a human shopper!

a month agoGone very woke, staff clearly trans and non binary , which is fine if that’s what they want. But too posh to pack, even if you go to the service till rather than self service, most of the under 25’s refuse to pack for you. So I take my time🙂.What’s the point other than when you want tobacco or alcohol which the auto scan units can’t authorise….. yet!
2 months agoGreat local shop, good selection of food including frozen and fresh3 months agoGood selection of grab and go foods sandwiches and snacks.a year agoNo drunkards outside or tomfoolery within the premise from any bagabons. The selection of breads was less than satisfactory, but what can I expect at 11:30pm. My faith in Sainsburys was restored when the lady at the till swiftly located my preferred rum and checked us out within a minute. Would recommend, take the other reviews with a pinch of salt.5 years agoWe were buying a packed lunch for the train journey home, and had gone on the search for a plastic spoon for my daughters fruit compote. They only had forks and knives available individually packaged and were directed toward the aisle with disposable cutlery but on finding the item declined to buy 10 of each cutlery item. By this point not only a member of staff but the security guy were involved and one of the staff went away to see if they had any more ‘out back’. Eventually the security guard came back and presented us with a metal teaspoon from their own kitchen to take and apologies that they didn’t have any plastic ones available. Ho w sweet! Such kind service

Big Sainsbury’s with a good selection of Tu clothing which I love looking at as well as food shopping. Plus Habitat and Argos, so an overall great store. Limited parking but 3 hours should be enough time and it is number plate recognition on entering which flashes up with time and I think it’s no return within an hour. Has a petrol station and a big cafe on the first floor with lift and stairs up. Is great value, with plenty of choices of snacks and meals. Toilets on both floors which is good.
Great supermarket, fantastic selection of food with good dates on. I often find that the smartshop facility in store often requires a full scan despite spending time and effort scanning the items as I go round, great for smaller shops but would not recommend this for the weekly larger shop. My only criticism with this store is the security guard looks at you like dirt, not something you appreciate when you have spent £137 in store, maybe a polite word to him wouldn’t go a miss.
Very similar to other Sainsburys. Clean, well stocked shelves, helpful and friendly staff, and plenty of room for customers to move around the store.
Not been in to Sainsburys for ages , so after finding my Nectar card I thought why not, and glad I did ! The new Nectar prices were really good, and on things that I actually buy , usually from a rival supermarket, the quality is a notch up. Will definitely return
Very pleased. Nice open cafe. Good value and clean. Will go again.
