Ok until you get to the tills, every manned checkout has at least 6 customers waiting. Why did I bother?

Very rude staff, I was upstairs looking at the jewellery and picked up a mood choker, it had no price on, got to the till, another woman said to a colleague named Midna on her badge, that if she can’t find a price to put it at what the other necklaces are at. She took half an hour to come back and say “I cant find a price nor another one, so I can’t sell it to you” even though her colleague said to add it at the other price of the other jewellery, ever since that trip, she gives me dirty looks like I shouldn’t be buying sale jewellery, if it wasn’t for this one been the only one I can get to, I wouldn’t come here, not to mention the next time I go in she’s gossiping with her other store colleagues while I’m waiting for her to come over and authorise a age restricted product, it’s not the first time it’s happened either, every time she’s on the store floor, she’s always gossiping instead of authorising my items. Please find some staff with manners and a full brain Tesco, as they act like they have no brains at all, for the prices you pay for stuff, you expect some respect.

The people who give a good review have obviously never been there. It is clear the management do not care.

The second entrance was closed and security encourage beggars to sit in the remaining entrance. Customers have to step over them or shove them out of the way.

Items that sell are sold out shortly after being put on the shelves and are not replenished for a week. Many shelves have items that never sell, even when put in the reduced section, and are just thrown away.

It is common for there to be zero staff in the store, not even security. Many customers see they cannot pay for their shopping, abandon their basket or trolley and go to the Asda at the other end of the road

The size of the rats living in the bushes near the entrance is not especially large but their large number in such small bushes indicates the level of hygene

It looks as it the management are trying to run down the branch. I have a suspicion it will be closed.

Only go for basics. Prices rising and beggars allowed to beg on the property. Including the car park Security could be used, but isn’t. I shop elsewhere and if shoppers are not happy they can always take their business elsewhere also. I believe that being on the property without permission is classed as trespass. Is that correct?.

Probably my favourite Tesco because they always have what I want. Staff are friendly and helpful and the store is clean and tidy. A little rubbish that they’re no longer 24hour, but such is life at times I guess. Never a nightmare parking as there’s plenty of spaces and one of the first Tesco’s I’ve been to wherever not had to move abandoned trolleys out of the way to get to a parking space. The cash machines always seem to be operational too. I’ve only used the cafe once, and wasn’t impressed at all, saying that… It was years ago so may have changed since. Overall, very good Tesco.

How to Shop Smart at Tesco Birmingham: A Quick Tutorial

Shopping at Tesco can be an enjoyable and stress-free experience if you follow these simple guidelines:

  • Make a shopping list: Before heading to Tesco, take some time to make a list of the items you need. This will help you stay focused and avoid impulse purchases.
  • Plan your visit: Choose a time when the store is less crowded to ensure a smoother shopping experience. Avoid peak hours like evenings and weekends.
  • Bring reusable bags: To reduce plastic waste, bring reusable bags with you. Tesco charges for plastic bags, so using your own bags will save you money as well.
  • Use the Tesco Clubcard: If you have a Tesco Clubcard, make sure to scan it at the checkout. This will earn you points that can be redeemed for discounts or vouchers.
  • Compare prices: Tesco often offers deals and promotions, but it’s always a good idea to compare prices and check for any ongoing discounts or offers.
  • Check expiration dates: Before placing any perishable items in your trolley, check the expiration dates to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Look out for own-brand products: Tesco has a wide range of own-brand products that are often cheaper than branded alternatives without compromising on quality.
  • Utilize online shopping: If you prefer to shop from the comfort of your home, Tesco offers an online shopping service where you can conveniently order groceries and have them delivered to your doorstep.

By following these guidelines, you can make your shopping experience at Tesco efficient, cost-effective, and eco-friendly.

  1. Worst customer service experience ever. Duty manager refused to accept an exchange even after speaking to their own customer services who instructed her to do it! What a shame that a manager don’t know the terms and conditions of the store she is managing. Just ridiculous! She just could not let it go as she was proven to be in wrong.

I have been a regular customer for 6 years now.

There are regular beggars residing on their blankets with big dogs just by the main entrance to this Tesco. They are bothering customers in an aggressive way especially targeting young and vulnerable girls.

I know that some people avoid shopping at that store as a result.

Would it be so difficult for the security not to allow these people to reside by the entrance so the customers are not bothered all the time when they want to do shopping?

This is a delicious cheesecake from Tesco This is a delicious ice cream from Tesco. The price of 4.50 is high, but it is delicious

  4. Purchased a packet of chicken yesterday that goes out of date today. The chicken was five pound and you expect the out of date day would not be today unless stated as reduced.
I took the chicken back today and refused an exchange.
Really bad service a d obviously don’t care.
    Shop at Asda

  5. I would like to complaint against Habib (help desk) and requested for a manager available on the site but they refused. I hope to have a feedback from the responsible person.
I have brought pampers wipes vouchers and they refused to redeem it as I have 4 vouchers and told me to bring everyday one vouchers to redeem. Also, told me to contact pamper company and complaint to them.
This is not expected from this big store.
Hope to have a proper explanation from the higher authorities.
