a month agoI went there to get something for my dinner as I am working in St Asaph there is a top fishing tackle shop just up the road probably the best fly fishing shop in Wales back to co-op nice clean and tidy shop friendly helpful staff there is a coffee machine and a hot food cupboard not a bad choice if you have forgotten your lunch2 years agoExcellent ! Great choice & variety . Good price ranges, so it suits the varying level of funds at times. Staff are ALWAYS exceptionally helpful. Today was a large basket full for me & I was given help right to the car ! Produce is plentiful ! Many thanks co op.a year agoNaff. Called in around 9am, expected to have a selection of hot food to go. Finally found a tiny hot food cabinet, with nothing but some greasy sausage and bean bake things in greasy cellophane, Finally got something from the normal shelves and the self-service till rejected ALL my notes and coins.Gave up.
And this seems to be the only shop in the “city”?
4 months agoGo there alot overall good place.3 years agoQuite small considering it’s the only supermarket in the city but still fairly sizeable for a Co-op, with a good selection of food and other essentials available to buy. Overall clean and lovely to have a browse.

4 months agoWould like to give a shout out to a staff member called Paul who was on tils Friday 28th April. He went back and fourth for us multiple times as we kept finding security tags on clothing items. Had a laugh about it all with us and remained patient, kind and helpful.a month agoWould like to give a shoutout to Thom, I couldn’t find paneer on the aisle , since I was going on a vacation the next day , it was really important for me. Tesco Prestatyn Cafe what brilliant and helpful staff in the cafe today ,they went out of their way to help me today ,above and beyond the call of duty, 6797 Sharon Thank you again for your help. The Fish and chips were lovely
The worse free from section I’ve seen in a Tesco, very small selection on shelves and mainly the very overpriced stuff, there were only a handful of items in the freezer aswell. Very poorly signed for free from stuff .vegan stuff had a good selection and was better signed
Visited only to return an item I bought the day before. The item had the sell by date on the day I bought it so wouldn’t keep for a few days which is what I required. On returning I was very bluntly told by law we can sell out of date items, they are only reduced at 21.00, ie when nobody is there. I have returned similar items to other supermarkets at times and they exchange no questions asked. Tesco you are disgusting and will never shop there again, not even for petrol. SHOPPERS BEWARE OF THIS SUPERMARKET.
I wanted to make a withdrawal at the cash machine, but because I have a French credit card it wanted 13% commission, so I cancelled by pressing the screen bottom left. No money came out. 5 days later the amount had been deducted from my account. Phoned the number on the machine and a lady said it was nothing to do with them. I phoned customer services twice and was told the manager would call me back. He didn’t. I allege that I have been robbed of 257,40 Euros and if it is not sorted I will report it to the Police and demand under the freedom of information act that the machine is verified for the day this happened
I would like to mention one of your lovely staff members ‘Fran’. A very attentive young lady who whilst doing her own jobs, went out of her way to direct me to the soya milk, in store on Tuesday 8th August. I found the item exactly where she directed me too, then to my surprise Fran came to find me at the location to double check that I had found it. I would appreciate if Fran received this acknowledgement to show how much this meant.
