a month agoFairly large shop, great range of products. When I was in the shop it was very smelly and closed much earlier than it should have. Large car park, good staff, even has a cafe.4 weeks agoAlways having a good selection of food and other goods on sale can be a bit difficult to park sometimes especially if disabled no one from management ever checks B/ badges get a Lot of Drivers sitting in their Vehicles while someone else does the shopping. The person the badge belongs to should Leave the Vehicle.a month agoFirstly the pharmacy is a joke and a waste of space. The staff become annoyed if you question anything about your prescription! I was witness to one staff on own and I saw her dispensing my prescription without having it checked by another , it won’t be too long before there is a error made. I have a nursing background so I am able to check my own meds , what about the elderly or others who are not in the know . DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT PHONING THE PHARMACY they NEVER answer the phone. I have rung continuously (23 times) . I am finished with tesco altogether , I went in the other day , I have been buying their brand of custard creams for a long time, they have been at 49 pence for a long time. The other day they had gone up in price to 65pence !!! What a horrible nasty way to treat people 😕 well I will no longer be a mug and put my money into the fat cats belly anymore. Of to aldi I am from now on2 months agoTesco Cafe Longton, i have to rate 5/5 for the pleasant staff , the serving of hot & cold foods and the meals are lovely they offer a broad range of menu which caters for many dietary needs it’s a pleasant space.Tesco Toilets are atrocious, and I recommend steering clear if them at all cost. For this reason, my rating is 0/5 😱
Store staffing, please point me in the direction of one as I can’t ever find one appart from at the checkouts, the store is far too large not to have some staffing to aid customers in finding a product or other, again this is a low scoring 0f 2/5
Product ranges are good. However, I am not taken in by Club card benefits. I think it’s apaulìng how one person without a club card has to pay a higher price than a person with a club card. I find this unfair & discriminating, perhaps? Thi for me, this is 0/5 I’m
However, there is a very good Taxi service 5/5
2 months agoI went to pick up some bits, the lady behide the till wouldn’t let me use my wife’s club card because it was screen shot of the QR code,so I lost out on the saving. I have never had a issue before.

6 months agoEvery single time I attempt to use this service station over night it is closed. Why does Tesco advertise this as being open 24hrs when in reality it is closed more often than not over night. Pull your finger out Tesco! Either keep it open or close it but please let us know.a year agoEasy access with good competitive price. Some diesel pumps had run dry. Busy with short queue at 10ish am.5 months agoStates open 24 hours but closes until 7am2 years agoLady spoke to us over tanoid telling us to move on. Had just got in car and was setting up the satnav as its a new area for us. Then as we were leaving she continued to shake her head at us! Awful service. There were 2 other pumps available too!a year agoI try to use the self service most of the time as having a child in the car. The Tesco Clubcard didn’t work when trying to scan it . I put my fuel in and tried to get a receipt so could add points on later but no receipt either. The fuel prices are going ridiculously high now so surely every point you can save money helps . Get the pumps fixed!!!

How to Shop Smart at Tesco Stoke-on-Trent: A Quick Tutorial
If you’re planning to shop at Tesco, here are some simple guidelines to help you navigate the store efficiently:
- Make a shopping list: Before heading to Tesco, make a list of the items you need to buy. This will help you stay focused and avoid impulse purchases.
- Plan your route: Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the store layout. This will save you time and prevent unnecessary wandering.
- Bring your own bags: Tesco encourages customers to bring their own reusable bags. It’s a great way to reduce plastic waste and earn Clubcard points.
- Check for promotions: Keep an eye out for special offers and promotions. Tesco often discounts popular products, so be sure to check the shelves for any deals.
- Compare prices: Tesco offers a wide range of products, so take the opportunity to compare prices. Look for the “price per 100g/ml” label on the shelves to find the best value for money.
- Use the Clubcard: If you have a Tesco Clubcard, make sure to scan it at the checkout. This will earn you points that can be redeemed for vouchers or discounts in the future.
- Grab a scan-as-you-shop device: Tesco provides handheld scanners that allow you to scan items as you put them in your cart. This can save you time at the checkout and make the process more efficient.
- Pay attention to use-by dates: When selecting perishable items, always check the use-by dates to ensure freshness and avoid food waste.
- Be mindful of the time: If you prefer a less crowded shopping experience, try to avoid peak hours when the store is busiest. Early mornings or weekday evenings tend to be quieter.
- Pack your bags efficiently: When packing your shopping bags, group similar items together and place heavier items at the bottom to prevent crushing or damage.
Shopping at Tesco can be an efficient and enjoyable experience if you follow these guidelines. By being organized and mindful of your purchases, you can make the most out of your shopping trip.

It has I good range of Christmas stock and Christmas clothes. It also has a cafe deli and wheelchair access. Staff are friendly and helpful. It is good your weekly shopping and easy to get in and out of the car park.
Best value for money & massive range of goods, so for me, after Aldi, my usual place to shop, Tesco is the next best, but the club card is a must, as it saves you a lot, & it’s free, so not bad!
Visited the cafe- which I think is massively under staffed. There was 2 staff members on who were doing their best but clearly understaffed and over worked.
No eggs available but the rest of the breakfast was lovely 😁
Big shout it to Rhea (sorry i’m not sure how to spell your name) on click and collect!!! Went above and beyond to help me out and called me back when she realised some things were missed off the order. Amazing customer service and deserves the recognition! Will definitely enjoy those sweet potatoes some point this week!
malfunction in the automatic payment machine, so my wife asked for help from an elderly woman assistante there. While helping, she asked me to show her my ID card, so I did so with all respect, even though I was 40 years old. Then she asked for my wife’s ID, which she was at home. The worker said I couldn’t. Buying three bottles of beer because your wife doesn’t have an ID made me feel disgusted and angry, but I remained calm. I don’t advise anyone to go to this place.
