This was the first time we used Pat’s wash tub. We arrived with about 10 loads of laundry. There were quite a few cars there so we were worried we might not get our clothes all finished. Boy were we wrong! Lots of HUGE capacity machines. Lots of smaller capacity machines. The machines operate with a laundry card that you can load with your debit card or cash. There is an attendant on duty if you have problems. The card cost 1.00 the first time but it’s reloadable. We used the biggest capacity dryers when washers were finished. All clothes were clean and dry and we were back home with all of our laundry in just 2 hours. We are definitely doing our last laundry here more often. They require that you tuck in your mirrors so my windows did not get cleaned, there are wet marks All over my truck and the tire shine doesn’t look very shiny at all. I bought the highest wash and it included tire shine which I did not receive. The soap 3/4 dispensers were working so a strip down the middle of my car didn’t get thoroughly washed. The car wash attendants are worse than Walmart workers. Talking the whole time instead of washing the front of my car and moving my mirrors. I’ve just been there twice today. I had a good bug collection after a recent trip. I bought the top of the line wash and after going back a 2nd time my car still has bug splatter on the front and the windshield. I’m definitely not happy!!!
If you want your vehicle damaged by all means use this car wash. My vehicle had been through this car wash several times with no issues. I paid for a $25 wash. All I got was a damaged truck. Manager said “Not his problem, and it must have been loose or something.” I have this manager on a recorded phone line stating he watched the car wash’s camera system and their equipment did indeed hit my truck. This car wash was a member of the BBB.org. I submitted a complaint with pictures and the car wash owner and or manager refused to respond. Insurance was contacted and sent my vehicle to their authorized repair facility. I was quoted $2219.00 to fix the truck and that did not include a new headache rack that’s made with heavy duty steel. 1/8″ plate is what was attached to the truck and bent. See photo below.
I paid for a $25 platinum car wash and after having driven up to the front of the line, I was informed that the car wash was going to break my bike rack. And then I said I don’t want to break my bike rack, so I will back up and I would like my money back. The cashier did not want to ask the cars lined up behind me to back up, so she said they could move some of the brushes apart at the end of the car wash and would that be acceptable? I said yes as long as I was still going to get a car wash. The vehicle was not rinsed at all. Then in drying lane instead of rinsing it they wiped it down with soap on it. I asked for my money back from the cashier and the manager and was told no by both. I will never give them my business again.
Inspect your vehicle after this car wash. All American car wash has gone down. Fewer brushes, they aren’t using the red towels anymore, and the tire shine is a joke. I went here for years and recommended it to everyone, but not anymore. They are using microfiber towels and I am very unhappy to see this. I had dirt swirls on my vehicle that I had washed the day before. I politely ask to remove my membership and I was told they can’t do it there. I had to go online. When I visited the website I saw they are supposed to be giving you free stuff with every car wash. They don’t do that either. Good luck going here. I hope you get your money’s worth. I will be looking for a new place to visit.
Incredible staff and got my car super clean! Very affordable too! It was my first time there, and I had no idea just how far they go beyond the extra mile! I will have to bring a tip next time for the crew! Phenomenal job, ladies and gentlemen!!
