I was a member here for years. My new 2022 truck ended up with very small scratches that ran down the entire side of the truck after. If you look at any vehicle that washes here in direct sunlight you will notice small longitudinal scratches running the length of your vehicle. The previous company did a pre wash to ensure that no excessively dirty vehicles went through the wash. I have seen many very dirty vehicles be allowed to go through the wash which I am sure leaves dirt on the brushes the touch your vehicle. I filed a claim and was told the scratches on my truck came from normal driving. Last time I checked air does not scratch your vehicle.
If you like your vehicles finish I would avoid Mister (scratch and shine) and go elsewhere. Go to the Cyclone in PW or the new car wash opening on the south side by Culver’s.
Not the best picture but hard to get a good picture in direct sunlight with a highly metallic paint.

One Particular gentleman changed that for me. I thought to my self I as I went through the car wash the following day I told my self “You know what if no one’s behind me im ganna roll down my window for a split second and say hi” The Gentleman I encountered that day was Steve!! The energy he brings to that place every single day is just amazing!!! Everyday now I go through the car wash I make sure to tell Steve “Hello and to have a amazing day!” I never thought you can have such amazing customer service just going through the car wash but ill tell you what I go wash my car here everyday before I go to work and it’s the right way to start off my day! I’d also love to mention the integrity Steve carries with him I ran by him at the store he could of just walked past me or acted as if he didn’t know me but he told me hi and to have a great day and you know what alot of people don’t hear that often and it did make my day! I bought a Black 2021 Toyota Highlander from a local dealer that was previously a rental. It looked like it had been through the ringer! Even after they put it through their detail shop twice, it still looked terrible. It was covered with scratches and swirls from cheap carnauba wax.
I brought my Toyota to Phil because he came highly recommended and I wanted to protect my investment. He performed some paint correction in areas where the dealer failed and buffed the car twice over. The he applied two coats of beautiful, glass like ceramic coat. Not only did he take care of the paint, but all the lights and trim look like brand new as well. They also got the protective ceramic coat. The pictures don’t do it justice. This car looks like it just came off the showroom floor. I drove it home through a little slush and it just beaded off the car. I’m loving this finish and have so much confidence that my car is protected. Phil’s work was phenomenal and he backs it for five years! That’s right, FIVE years!
We will be back in a few weeks with the husband’s truck. Worth every penny plus some! He was able to see me within a few days of our initial contact and even drove me home and picked me back up while my car was being worked on! Much better than any drive through I’ve been to here. My tires look extra bright and I love the hand dry on the windshield and mirrors.
I had not been at this location since it was owned by the previous company, so this was a first time for me at Mister. I chose the Platinum service as recommended by the man at the kiosk and gave a $5 tip on top of that as I expected there to be the individuals that dry your car off at the end of the wash. Had I known that was not available anymore, I honestly would not have tipped for no hands on service provided. The first time I went through, the side brushes never touched the car nor did the one that was supposed to go along the back of the car. The back part of my vehicle and window was still dirty. I asked to speak to a manager and he told me he would put me back through the wash to go on and drive around. I did and this time all the side brushes/mops touched my vehicle, but again the backside barely washed. My car did not have caked on dirt or anything like that.
This was just day to day dirt. For the amount I paid, I expected to come out of there with a clean car and not one that I then had to go spray and wash by hand. >:-| I would never recomment this place.
It asks for a tip upon payment for absolutely nothing, I don’t need help putting my card in the machine. They need to bring back the people who used to dry your car at the end. Without that, you just end up with water spots. There are other places in town that still do it.
kyle working at 1:30pm sunday 4/23 was absolutely incredible, i forgot my antenna topper was still on my antenna and it had popped off while i went through the car wash and he was kind enough to divert from his responsibilities and found my antenna topper for me, i was so appreciative of what he did! i aways like going to the mister car wash to clean my car! great experience!
The vacuums are great for cleaning the car. The car wash is overall good. It could be better if they would start pre-spraying the vehicle as you enter the car wash bay. They, for some unknown reason, stopped doing this the last 3 months or so. Other than that, it is a good carwash.
