5 months agoI just had my car cleaned by this company and I was very impressed. They did a great job and it’s the best car wash I’ve ever had. I was offered a number of extra options and services that I declined, but it was nice to see the offer of these services. The staff was friendly and they went the extra mile to make sure they got every spot out of my car. I’ve never had a better clean job. Been going there for years and years with good service and never issue. I have a medium sized car and said it was a large car. Wanted to charge me large car prices to clean my car and have always been charged for medium price the whole time I have had this car which is nearly 3 years. After I complained and made comments he did charge me for medium priced clean. Said I would have to pay large car prices next time. Won’t be going here again. It used to be the best car wash I had ever visited, but after my two last visits, they missed so much I no longer visit. Outside clean is now OK rather than great, but its the hoovering/ inside clean they now let me down… twice! Both times they missed hovering/cleaning the door ‘pockets’ and the dashboard still had dust left… However, it’s still a car wash company with REAL proper seating outside (while your car is cleand) but that alone is not reason enough to take your car there. Sad!

Two times I have used IMO car washes recently, and this is now the second time I have had this experience. I used this facility on the 5th of March 2022 and I have to say, I was left very disappointed with the experience. As we were going through I noticed that that one of the brushes was not spinning on the drivers side of the car. Since getting home I have seen that actually using the car wash was a complete waste of my time and money, my wheels and front bumper are still soiled heavily. I would have been better off just washing the car myself, i would have saved my money and got the job done a hell of a lot better. One to avoid at all costs!
Went back this afternoon after a fair gap of going elsewhere…paid £10 for the Diamond Wax, got home and the car looks like it has not even been washed. Water marks all down the side, front bumper and wheels still dirty and pollen marks still all over. Went for speed, should have waited in line across the road for the hand wash!

I was on my way through on the conveyor, and a STUPID female staff member starts banging on my window. So I opened my window about an inch so I could hear her in her broken English, but could not understand what she was babbling on about. But because the process had begun, I got drenched with cleaning chemicals, which caused a rash on my skin the same day.
Also, the vertical brushes were not working, so my car came out the other end looking like an effing ZEBRA!
I asked the manager to refund my £10, to which he replied “I would have to do it online, as they don’t give refunds at the point of sale” But they never closed the car wash to fix the problem, they still allowed more cars through after mine.
So I will never go back to this car wash, because it is run by absolute clowns.
I used to use the IMO in Sittingbourne, almost on a weekly basis when I worked through that way, and never had a problem in over two years. And the guys at Sittingbourne were always pleasant, helpful, and PROFESSIONAL, unlike their colleagues at Canterbury.
I blame the franchise manager, because it is HIS job ultimately, to promote good customer service amongst his team members. But HE, the older guy with the goatee beard, was the rudest of all, and displayed a threatening and aggressive demeanour.
Got home realised my rear window wiper was missing and the cap for it as well. Car wasn’t dry and didn’t seem half the dirt off it either.
