It’s your typical self serve car wash. I paid $2.50 and was able to wash, rinse and spot free rinse and still had 3 minutes left. You can hang your mats and washer them too. Has 1 RV bay. And for the first time ever it was actually being maned by a human! Which is good since the first bay I went into ate my quarters. Happy about having help to get my quarters back and he was friendly and the place is clean. Wash place was nice but I got charged $20 dollars on my credit card for a self service wash that was 7mins then I had to read the sign for sec to figure out how to hold the card button to turn it off. What is the price of ur wash and how much time do I get? Edits: found the number to call inside the vending area, and we were sent a rebate for the wash, which had timed out.
Helpful: don’t pay for a wash until you have scrubbed the bugs off your car… paid for a wash, drove in, and then the wash mechanism made loud noises without doing anything to our car. The manager raised his voice when I asked repeatedly why they put the wrong oil in. Then he goes into my car without asking and pulls my owner’s manual out and fails to find a oage justifying putting the wrong oil in. He told me changing it was a waste of time because it wastes oil. The kind he put in is thicker and gives me worse fuel economy. Even says so on the page in my manual he couldn’t find I don’t appreciate being treated like I’m stupid when I did my research before calling them out on using oil that’s different than what’s written on the oil cap because his computer told him so. I expect an aggressive response like you gave any other bad review
When I first started going here 4 years ago I was impressed. They were able to get my truck clean. After the wash upgrades they can’t seem to get it clean anymore(they quit power washing by hand). When I asked the manager became hostile saying that that’s what all the other car washes are doing the same thing. Even though the same employees are working the same position. Moral of the story if you have a bigger vehicle take it elsewhere.
I’ve been a customer at Gilmore Av. Car Wash for many years. I have an annual car wash and love it. I also take all the vehicles from my employer there when they need to be washed. The employees are great, very friendly and efficient.
I also think the owners run a very efficient and successful business.
Very friendly employee and a great car wash. Free made it even better.
Overall car wash was good. Car is black so it was necessary to wipe car down with towel to remove streaks. Thanks again!
