First let me say that I have been a member with The Downtowner for a few years now. Loved them. Here and there they werent perfect but the job got done.
Now that this has become Mr. Carwash it is by far the worst wash you could ever pay for. My car is dirtier than it was before it went through!! The vacuums fall apart while you use them and the mat cleaner does literally nothing. Going to find a self serve to clean my car now. This has got to be a joke or a front. Or just a plain scam. It’s probably dawn dish soap they are spraying on our vehicles – it sure does smell like it and leave a residue like if you did.

Manger made sure I was able to get my tag back which meant working late hours after close to find it. He kept me updated throughout and never left me hanging. Took a couple of days, but he was great. No signage referencing this limitation but worse, I already paid and they had no way to reimburse me. All digital payment with no way of getting my money back other than to call customer service because they cannot put it back on the card and carry no cash. Before this location was ‘Mister’ suck wash, I had been through many times and it was fine. Upon being refused, and unable to provide reimbursement on my card, and after sitting on the customer service number for over 20 minutes to coordinate getting $25 back on my card for services never rendered, they say I need to speak with the general manager. No dice. Told them I need to speak to a supervisor that can help me get my money back. Another 10 minute hold time, the customer service person came back on to help me to say my credit card will be reimbursed in 3 to 7 business days. Was unable to give me a reference number or anything. The staff members were friendly, however they don’t pressure wash your vehicle like it was previously done with Downtowner. After paying $20 for the platinum wash, my truck came out looking like the wheels hadn’t been touched and the tire shine doesn’t even go around the whole tire. It did a decent enough job making the paint look clean. Usually a great experience. Bought a new truck. Took it there after a couple of weeks to be washed. Went through the blow dryer and it pushed my roof in and left a 4in. dent. Extremely unhappy with the new ways . they Did not clean wheel wheels there are streets everywhere they didn’t clean all the windows and I tried talking to management to be told the 90 $ service . Well wish we could do more to help u.like maybe a clean truck would be great also won’t take any calls straight to a voice mail that’s always full. I will not be back without a real conversation with a manager or owner. Truly wish Troy kept the place him and his team actually care about the job they do.
Was a regular customer when it was downtowner, And they always did an amazing job. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for today’s visit. I did say something to a manager, and he wiped down the floors in the back of my car (mats). I greatly appreciate it, but when I got in the car, I saw also that the front looked like they hadn’t touched it at all. They ask you to put all the trash on the floor, which I did. When I got back to the front, I noticed that there was still trash on the floor and all the surfaces were visibly dirty. The price was increased also, which I don’t mind, if they are going to do the job that I paid for. I am not nit picking and inspecting the dar, these are things that are very obvious and were not cleaned.Pretty disappointed … Will not be back. Will have to find a new place to take my car to.
This is one of the worst car washes. No wonder there isn’t very much business. Took my car there and payed almost $40 for a platinum wash. Before I paid I asked if they clean the door jam, trunk jam, and gas lid, to which they responded yes. After the the wash not only did they not do any of that , but they just barely wiped any part of my car with the rag. Inside or out, and on top of that I got to watch the dude just sneeze all inside my rear seat and then all over my driver door and steering wheel. This is an absolute garbage car wash and a waste of money. Take your business elsewhere before you waste your money at this place.
Had my car “washed” today, left with a big scrape mark on the passenger side along with a dirty vehicle. Bird dropping on the window still there, didnt bother to dry it off one bit, inside was barely touched, among many other areas. Saved the pictures just to remind myself never to go back. They did nothing to rectify the situation. Used to be the best car wash around now I’ll definitely my business elsewhere before I pay 40 dollars there again.
The quality and service are getting worse. Some of the employees are extremely rude, The car is never really clean after anymore. The airfreshners smell like nothing.
The other day, it took them forever to get the cars cleaned because they were all standing around talking. You can tell the employees are unmotivated and couldn’t care less. It used to be such a great place to bring your car for a quick detail.
