Twice, despite following the directions of a human being, I missed the most important information I needed because it was on one of the signs hanging up. Going there did not have to be so stressful. I’ve been to several car washes locally and never had this communication problem. Obviously, it’s a newbie thing that nobody would do twice. However, why bother going back there? They are not cheaper or faster, nor is it a better car wash. I was surprised to find it so stressful to be a new customer, though with a line to get in and good employees working hard, they must be doing something right. If you’re a regular there, great. This place is a Charleston institution. It’s been here forever and has many loyal customers. Mr. Perry, the manager rides around and inspects every car and he’s as nice as he can be. If you see something that he didn’t be sure to tell him and he will get it redone. You can browse in the unique gift shop, sit and watch Tv inside, or sit outside and enjoy fresh air. I paid for the extra vacuum and there was still animal hair left in my car. The outside looks good, but looking in the inside the mats look as if they were dusted off and that was the only thing that was done. I don’t expect it to be perfect but i also don’t want to have to tell/show someone all the missed spots. I was 2nd in line for detailing yesterday and went to the cave next door. After two hours I went to check and they were still working on the first car. They never told me they take up to two hours per vehicle and only have one detailer. It was another hour + before my car was ready and I still had to do almost 2 hours worth of work on it today to fix what they messed up. I specifically asked for no tire shine but they did it anyway and then half wiped it off. What irritates me was that they sprayed and spilled shine on all the plastic interior and exterior parts. I had to rewash the car in the front and scrub all the plastic inside and out. I also had to scrub the cloth seats more because that was incomplete. Then I had to wash the mats because the area where they clean those has dirty water from other cars and it deposited all over my mats. My back seat mats were spotless before and now had new dirt and spilled shine on them. I wasted half my weekend just trying to have a clean car before a trip next weekend. I won’t ever go back. Great service, super reasonable pricing. I come back just for the employee service alone, tbh. Crystal was so helpful and awesome, she really went above and beyond & genuinely seemed to care (older vehicle, worried about possible paint chipping). I honestly wasn’t anticipating this level of attention, care and service at a carwash of all places, but it made my day, & was honestly refreshing to know still exists. Thank you Crystal!! Well this was a big-time bummer! I got a great deal on Groupon for the best car wash. I am glad that I got it at a discount because I would not pay $25 for a car wash and have such a bad job. My grill was not cleaned at all and my rims were very bad. Let’s just say that my vehicle was washed not long ago and this is why I came here. Then I went to vacuum my car and the air hose wasn’t so good and neither was the vacuum. So I think that they either have to fix some things with their carwash and look into all of their vacuums working.

Disappointing. Second Trip to Zips Mount Pleasant today. First resulted in waiting in line to be told the pump was broken but it would be fixed in an hour. Drive by an hour later and it still wasn’t fixed. Returned about 5:30 pm to this sign. Pay for monthly service, so suggest you give them time to figure out staffing and maintenance issues. There is a good deal of blue painter’s tape holding things together.
Excellent car wash experience. Great that they support our military on Memorial Day with a free wash. Definitely will be coming back.
I have been a gas pass member for over five years and this place constantly has maintenance issues with the car wash, vacuums, and air pressure hoses. There is constant turnover and staff and very little leader ship. I was asked to fill out the survey express by grievances and this is what I’m doing.
