My car never comes out clean. I don’t understand how we can pay $12-14 and it looks the same going in, just wet. First time, thought it was a fluke. Second time, it happened again. I won’t be returning. Photos of both washes, after going through touch free.
Long lines and apparently people get stuck in the Bay. It hasn’t happened to me yet but there has been a lot of calls to 911 for other people.
$17 for the “best” car wash and it goes so fast I’m not even sure it went through the whole cycle. I did like that there was a timer on the dryer and that I could slowly drive out to maximize the drying time.
Drive-thru is brushless which is an advantage but of course that means it is not as clean. There will still be a film visible on dark cars in particular and no doubt on light cars which just isn’t very visible.
One of the good things is you can get an undercarriage wash which helps with the goop they put on the road here in the winter that rots cars out. I go to the wash a few times a year.
Nothing is a substitute for a good hand wash of your car. Going through the other drive-through wages where they have brushes and rags will mark the car up eventually and leave fine lines on them… again particularly visible with dark cars.
Used to be one of the best car washes in Scranton now I’d say it’s one of the worst. It’s way too expensive and nothing ever works!!
