Here is a price table of self-car washes in the US:

---|---|---|
Basic Self-Car Wash | $5 – $10 | Includes washing, waxing, and vacuuming. |
Comprehensive Self-Car Wash | $10 – $15 | Includes washing, waxing, vacuuming, and detailing the interior and exterior of your car. |
Self-Service Car Wash | $5 – $10 | You wash your car yourself using the equipment provided by the self-car wash. |
Here are some factors that can affect the cost of a self-car wash:
- The size of your car:Â Larger cars will typically cost more to wash than smaller cars.
- The level of detail you want:Â A more comprehensive wash will typically cost more than a basic wash.
- The location of the self-car wash:Â Self-car washes in urban areas will typically cost more than self-car washes in rural areas.

I had a great experience at Bubble Barn Car Wash! We took our truck in and it got it clean! The best part is that they have a TON of free vacuums to vacuum out your vehicle. Would come back!
Note: a Ford F-350 can fit into the carwash!
By C C (2 months ago)Can do a better job with a garden hose…2 stars instead of one simply because this is the only place I know of that accepts dually trucks. I just wish it was better.
I am a monthly member of this place and pay for the highest tier they offer. I wash weekly so it’s not like I have caked on dirt for months. Drove on a wet dirt road today and needed to get the dirt and salt off.
Sent my truck through the wash twice and still dirt everywhere. Went to talk to the attendants and was told there’s nothing they could do. I asked to use the garden hose to finish the job and was told no.By reading other reviews on this wash it seems like this place would have happier customers if instead of having two people at the desk twiddling their thumbs, they would have an attendant with a pressure washer quickly pre treat areas that clearly need more attention. If Holiday gas stations can do it, then a car wash company should certainly be able to make it happen.
By Matthew Clark (4 months ago)Bought the “best” wash and was happy until I went to vacuum the car out and the trunk had a ton of soap all over. Just not overly amused.By Natalie Klochan (a week ago)Not that impressed. Left soap inside the hatch back seams on my wife’s Explorer, and it also scratched the front corner. So not happy with that. Took my truck there, and although it was supposed to clean the underside of the vehicle, it didn’t. We’ve had better results with Holiday, Kwik Trip, and HyVee car washes at half the price. The only real nice thing is the free vacuum cleaners you can use after the wash. And the staff was friendly. So 2 positive parts = the 2 star review. Otherwise would have been 1 star. Definitely not worth the price you pay.By Mike Henderson (5 months ago)The wash does a great job getting the car clean but…
We did the ViPig wash ($21 at the time)
Might not be best for those who want to take care of the paint. It put some decent sized scratches on the roof of our sedan (Toyota Camry). We don’t have a large vehicle by any means so we were a little confused by how deep the scratches where. I wish they had a no touch wash option…
It is worth noting that since our car has clear coat damage, scratches show up much much easier.
But for those wishing to have a shiny wash without distracting scratches, best not to use this wash service ToT
The vacuums are okay. A little inconsistent. Sometimes have to hunt for the one with the most suction.
But besides the scratches and inconsistent vacuums, it gets the job done!By Kirjsten Blodgett (3 months ago)

People talk about dive bars. Well, this is basically a dive self serve car wash. People brag about dive bars. I want to brag about this place. This car wash may not have all the bells and whistles as others, but this place REALLY HAS soap in the sprayer and in the brush. And if you want to talk about pressure. Holy WOW!!!! These sprayers have more pressure than three of them combined add any other car wash in the state. There is no need to exercise your arms after holding onto that sprayer for a while. My only real complaints are that I went around midnight on Memorial Day and the lighting in the vacuuming area is not the greatest and all of the trash cans were over full. (I’m sure because it was a holiday).
I enjoy washing my car at a self serve car wash and it was driving through the area in my car. I needed it bad so I googled and found this place. I am very pleased that I did. I am a little bit disappointed that I don’t live closer so I could use it more frequently. If you enjoy washing your car as I do. I recommend this place 1000%By Mark Mitchell (2 months ago)A criminal enterprise. The fact that the city even allows this place to be in business illustrates the apathy that city has in allowing a corrupt business like this to operate in city limits.
1. Change machines often don’t give proper amounts of change.
2. Credit card scanners will bill your account twice.
3. Nobody on on-duty on the premises except for a limited amount of time in the morning only, it seems.
4. Today even the exit door wouldn’t open, forcing customers to back all the way out of the narrow stalls to escape this messed place. What an embarrassment for the city to have this be the best self serve car wash available in the city. Do NOT waste your time at this dump. You’ll have much better luck if you simply travel to Burnsville or apple valley.By Matthew Felknor (4 months ago)Place definitely needs updating but still works.
$3.00 for 3 mins to wash; quarter machines available on site. Vacuums also available.By James Dang (a year ago)These guys are scammers. The prices they display are not even close and it changes. I’ve been charged twice in a day as well for $15. If you try and call about it they basically give you a runaround. The city definitely needs to look into these people. Very dishonestBy Kwasi Aforo (2 months ago)Hit or miss on how the bays work, especially the rinse guns. And if the credit card machine works. Go to Leroys a block away. Full service and the same price for a full wash.By Kevin Mendel (2 months ago)

This is by far is the best car washes I’ve ever seen in my entire life. The staff here are extremely friendly and offered and went away above and beyond to help me out. This is a fantastic place to bring your rentals or family cars to get them serviced and they return it clean as can be. They did a fantastic job it was quite unbelievable and experience was well worth it. They even have a ice cream dispenser, free popcorn, free water, and a amazing lounge that even accommodates for families. My highest recommendation
These guys are AWESOME. Awesome, consistently awesome. I have been going to Soapy Joe’s for almost a decade now and go there at least four times a week to get my car washed. I have never been disappointed and my car always looks AWESOME! Don’t miss out! Local business that proudly supports other local businesses in a consistent and sustainable manner. A great jewel on west 7th!!
Adore this little business! Detail appointment was more than what I expected, 1000% worth every dollar spent, but also VERY reasonable for price. I will be recommending this place to anyone who needs either a car wash or a detail appointment. If I could give ten stars, I would.
This has to be the best car wash I’ve ever been to. They treat you so incredibly well, I was nervous to go here because I only do touch-free washes to prevent scratches and whatnot but the owner assured me I’d have no issues, in fact he was so confident that he gave me a free car wash. And he was right, it looks so good and it’s probably the only touch wash I trust. Not only do they use premium quality products, after you go through the dryer they’ll dry your car BY HAND!!! So incredible, service is top notch. This is the next best thing to hand washing your own car. I’d give ten stars if I could.
To be clear, they only offer exterior car wash. Advertisement is misleading as full service. I drove almost 30 mins to get a detail clean only to find out interior services are not offered, not even a vacuum. However, the attendants spray down the outside of your vehicle, you drive through the conveyor, and they are waiting to dry you off.
It’s worth 20 bucks, I guess.
