- Reviews:Associates at this center lack customer service skills and good job ethic. They are more busy flapping their gums and sightseeing than actually working. On more than one occasion I have been told to go to another cashier or department when the associate does not desire to assist me. Even after helping another customer. If someone helps pay your salary I do not see the issue for stopping for 2 minutes to help them with whatever they need. If they are too incompetent to resolve an issue, they should locate a manager or supervisor who can.By Keshanna McNair (a week ago)this is bout as bad as the baker location. they do have police at door but no customer service here. they dont greet you but will stop you rudely at the door check your reciept. pallets all over the place no room to push your basket. this place need helpBy Lex Luther (3 weeks ago)Shopping was good but the lighting in the parking lot needs to be improved adding more lights because most of the parking lot was completely dark. - Reviews:Placed a grocery order on the app to be delivered to my home the following morning between 8am-9am. I did not receive my order. I inquired through the app via chat and was issued an apology and assured my order would be delivered at 4pm instead. It is after 5 pm and I still haven’t received my order.By LYDIA BOWIE (a week ago)DO NOT!!! I repeat, Do Not rent Rug Doctors from the Walmart on O’Neal. They are unkept none of them works. I had to make 3 45 minutes trips to exchange for another one because all three of the ones they had in stock is defective and wouldn’t clean loose dirt. Save yourself the headache and just go to Home Depot or Lowes. All it does is make more mess.By Kieu Tran (2 months ago)As long as the MF Loss prevention f@g would stop messing with people who aren’t even doing anything while the whole group of thieving a$$ punks who can’t even fight cuz they wear pants 10 times too tight and think shooting at people makes you somebody but really you look like a idiotBy Jay C (a week ago)I got in a checkout line that already had the light lit up and stood in that line for about 20 minutes before it started to move forward. Another few minutes ago by the line moves forward again, and I am now the next person to put my stuff on the conveyer belt. The lady that had been in front of me switched lines didn’t say anything. And as I’m about to start putting my stuff on the belt. She looks over and says “Oh, He closed.” The light was on when I got in line. The cashier didn’t say a word that he was closing. He just looked at me and shrugged. I was not the last person in line either. There were people behind me. This is the crappiedt Walmart in this freaking town and I will not be back to this one. That’s why I go to Target.By Rachel S (3 months ago)Was able to find everything I needed. It’s always so many people shopping there. You have to stay in the line so long. Other then that everything’s good.By Dorothy Selders (a month ago)

Most of the time you cannot find employees that is willing to assist you – it’s either not their department they’re not on duty or they have no idea…..
I am not one to usually do reviews on any type of corporate business, but I just had to for this location. We needed assistance several times because we are not from the area and each time an employee was right there to help. Every interaction we had with the several different employees, from one’s stocking to the cashiers and greeters was amazing. They were all so friendly and willing to help. Where we are from that just does not happen so we were very happily surprised. We even messed up using the self checkout and the cashier there was so sweet about it. To say we are jealous of the locals for having this location is an understatement and if we ever have to make a Walmart run in Baton Rouge again, we will definitely go here.
Stopped here to get a few things we had forgotten on a road trip and we were extremely surprised and impressed! The store was very clean and organized and the staff was very friendly snd helpful! We have multiple staff members offering help and making sure our shopping experience ran smoothly. That’s a lot more than I can say for most Walmarts. The staff and management is doing a great job here!
Even after the remodel, they failed to take care of their customer service. I was given a return barcode for a package that clearly said, my item could be returned unpacked or boxed. I brought it to customer service and was scolded by the female saying I had to have it boxed up. I finally got a hold of a manager in the store. He apologized and finished my return for me. Corporate Walmart, fix this store! If employees hate their job that much, QUIT!
Traylaine brought my groceries to my car. While I was waiting for him to deliver my groceries, I observed him delivering orders to other cars. I was so impressed about how hard he worked doing his job very well. When he brought my groceries, I was further impressed with what a polite, pleasant young man he was! He is certainly an asset to Walmart.
