How to Maintain Your Car’s Cleanliness Between Hand Washes
Maintaining your car’s cleanliness between washes is essential to preserve its appearance and value. Here are some simple steps to help you keep your car looking clean and tidy:
- Regularly Remove Trash: Dispose of any trash or debris accumulated inside your car. Use a small trash bag or container to keep things organized.
- Wipe Down Surfaces: Use a microfiber cloth and mild interior cleaner to wipe down the dashboard, steering wheel, and other surfaces regularly. This prevents dust buildup and maintains a fresh interior.
- Vacuum Regularly: Vacuum the carpets, seats, and floor mats to eliminate dirt and crumbs. A handheld vacuum or portable car vacuum can be handy for quick cleanups.
- Use Car Mats: Invest in high-quality rubber or carpeted car mats. They can protect your car’s floor from spills and dirt, and you can easily remove and clean them.
- Keep Cleaning Wipes Handy: Keep some automotive cleaning wipes in your car. They can be used to quickly clean surfaces and remove smudges and stains.
- Avoid Eating Inside: Minimize eating inside your car to reduce the chances of spills and crumbs. If you do eat, make sure to clean up immediately afterward.
- Park Thoughtfully: When parking, choose shaded or covered areas to reduce exposure to bird droppings, tree sap, and other debris.
- Use a Car Cover: If you don’t use your car frequently or park it for extended periods, consider using a car cover to protect it from dust and outdoor elements.
- Address Spills Promptly: If any spills occur, clean them up as soon as possible to prevent stains or odors from setting in.
- Rinse Off Dirt: If you notice your car is covered in light dirt or dust, use a gentle spray or rinse to remove it. Avoid high-pressure washing, as it may damage the paint.
By following these tips, you can keep your car looking fresh and well-maintained between regular washes, ensuring it stays in top condition for years to come.

The wash on my truck was great! The girl at the cash register & the guys that guide you in & do prewash were also great. The 2 young men drying were useless. They were sitting down when I drove out & they sitting down again before I drove off. They spent less than 5 minutes drying off my truck, so needless to say, there were water spots everywhere! I went home & wet it down & re dried it.By Fay M (a month ago)Update- I have tried calling all day to make sure all of the fast passes are canceled, and I have emailed, but none of my calls have been returned, nor has the email. Many of my calls went to voicemail.
I have fast passes for my entire fleet of rental BMW’s. I had a last minute booking yesterday afternoon and ran up to the Kell location to get one of them washed. My gate wouldn’t open, so the lady came over to tell me the pass expired a few days before and that I needed to renew. I explained that I left my wallet at home- but had multiple fast pass accounts and was there several times a day and would come back to take care of it later in the evening. She motioned me through so I assumed it was a gesture to allow me to wash so I could get the BMW to my guest. When I got to the car wash, I was denied the wash. The manager came and I explained the situation- but he chose to lose all of my accounts rather than allow me the single wash (to be paid for later that day). Everyone there knows me, as I am there every day multiple times. I expect loyalty- and they chose to save the temporary $20 that would have been paid that day, but lose thousands of dollars in fast pass accounts. Bad choice for them, as they lost a loyal customer who has used their wash for over a decade. I am closing them all today and will use a different car wash and will no longer use the lube centers.
By Josh White (a month ago)I was completely dissatisfied with my full detail in which I paid $110 for two of my windows were completely untouched and my seats were half done when I explain to the manager of my concerns he informed me that doing the seat is not a part of the detail I was frustrated because that is something that should be mentioned prior to someone paying over $100 to get their car washed I spoke with Alejandro Gonzalez and he informed me that they will give me a free car wash at the verifying everything that I stayed it was true I am absolutely disappointed I waited two hours and my car was not even washed properly yet alone detailed. I appreciate Mr. Gonzalez for attempting to make things right by offering a free car wash but it wasn’t until my frustration had reached its pinnacle that he offered to take care of what was done incorrectly I added the images below to show you all.By Adriana Pace (11 months ago)To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. Apparently there is a new owner and policies, prices, and quality have changed dramatically. I had to pay two separate fees for the inside and outside of my car to be cleaned. I was told it would take over an hour so I had someone pick me up, expecting a phone call when it was ready. I did not ever receive a phone call and when I finally picked up my car, it looked like someone had lightly dusted and barely vacuumed the inside. Nothing was even wiped down. There’s literally mud still on one of my seats. Not worth the money and I will never come back!By Valerie McClure (3 months ago)It’s a nice carwash but the right side scrubbers, both of the black ones that scrub the right side of the vehicle do not engage the vehicle but they do rotate. They haven’t worked for quite some time I’m giving a lower score because of this, otherwise it’s a great carwash.
:Update: they still do not contact the vehicle at this timeBy Joseph Chaboya (a month ago)

I normally always come here to get my oil changes , recently got my car fixed at another place they did an “oil change” . I went today and come to find out they had stripped my oil plug and they couldn’t remove it because I would need a new oil pan. The manager came out and went above and beyond to get it out and replaced it with a new one and didn’t charge me for it . I will only come here for my oil change !By Vanessa Garcia (3 weeks ago)Paid for 20$ wash and when I came out from it my truck had a couple gouges in the side of it. Manager told me on the phone that there’s no way his machines did this and they would not be responsible. I told him if he didn’t want to be responsible to prove that damage was already there with the cameras and he said I can go look but either way we won’t be responsible. LOL what a joke. This wash will damage bigger trucks. Proceed with caution.By brandon shoemaker (a year ago)Nice and cheap 👌 perfect place to save money and keep your car clean 👌By Jaime Barraza (a week ago)I paid 25 dollars but the washing still left dirt on the bottom side of my truck and wouldn’t clean all the bird droppings off itBy Charlie (2 months ago)Far more expensive than their competitors far more expensive than in California and the equipment doesn’t get the car that clean it misses spots but they will let you go through a second time but Even on the second time same results. I’m not mad at them or hating on them but their equipment just doesn’t clean as well as others this is a fair review review. A nice add on a good thing is they have people who wipe the car down and shine the tires after you come through the automatic portion. They are vacuums are good however at the very end there is only one vacuum on one side not on both sides.By Arnold D Isaac (a year ago)

I highly suggest not to use this car wash if you have a truck. It scratched my Silverado from the hood all the way to the back of the cab above the doors. Luckily a buffer tool took the color of the scratches out but there are still a few scratches left over when looking in direct sunlight at it. This is the only automatic car wash I’ve ever used and it’s a shame that it’s probably ruined it for ever using anyone else’s automatic car wash as well. Will not go here for a wash ever again
I have the express lane top package. I have been through several times where the bottom of my car is still dirty (below doors) last time I came through I left from the wash and drove home. It’s been snowing and raining so it has not been driven for a few days. I noticed 2 days later a long scratch from back to front of passenger side marks where it rotated with a black mark as well. With the weather like it is I have not been able to get ahold of anyone.
Decent car wash, but prices are too high for even the base options. In a bigger city, monthly unlimited subscription car washing is $10-15 and includes more options like tire polish, etc. Management should consider slashing prices and after a couple months I’d imagine they’d see more customers and cash flow.
This review is mostly for the oil change side (although the last two $25 car washes I’ve gotten were terrible, not even close to clean). The oil change shop will absolutely try to rip you off. My teenage son went in a couple of weeks ago for an oil change and they tried to convince him he needed a brake fluid flush and an air filter. They had him thinking that his brakes were going to fail if he did not get it done. Luckily he called me first and I told him to decline and then I took it to a real mechanic and they said those things were just fine and did not need service.
Then my daughter went in yesterday and they convinced her that she needed a new air filter ($25 for something you can get yourself for about $12). I know for a fact that she did not need one because I just replaced it myself not too long ago and checked it two days ago and it was perfectly fine. I question whether they really replaced it since the one she had was still practically brand new, but I can’t check until this weekend because she was headed back to college when she stopped there.
No complaints about the oil changes, but the fact that they will knowingly try to take advantage of young people and rip you off to upsell something else makes it a one star business that my family won’t be returning to.
UPDATE: Less than a month after they talked my daughter into a new air filter, she went back for a safety inspection. Guess what they told her she needed again? Luckily this time she was educated enough to not fall for their air filter scam.
I use this car wash location, regularly. There are, I believe, three locations here in Wichita Falls, TX. This is a busy location, but not as busy at the one off of Kemp. Thank location is too busy, and horrible to enter and exit!
This location at McNeil cleans the van better than off of Kemp.
I use the FastPass lane because we pay for unlimited monthly car washes.
Today, was the busiest I’ve ever seen. The lines were six and seven cars deep, on both lanes. It took us twenty minutes to get through the wash cycle.
This place is easy to enter but upon exit it is a one-way access road, next to the freeway. It is opposite of all the stores. If you don’t want to go way down to the westside, at the next intersection, you must go through two other businesses’ parking lots to get to the street going south on McNeil to then go back east on Hwy. 277 towards the shopping areas.
