Been living here since January 2023 and have yet to have a problem with our apartment so far. Just put in a maintenance request on Thursday and only had to wait until the following Monday (72 hrs) to get everything fixed (clogged drain and washer issue). Friendly during the application process and gave a discount for military. Only thing I’d say is the walls are a bit thin but I have never heard a conversation from any of my neighbors just when they play loud music I can hear the vibrations at times. As far as the area I’d say it’s the better part of Newport News from what I’ve seen and it’s closer to Yorktown than anything else, night and day difference from The Newport News I’ve seen closer to 664 bridge. Haven’t had any issue with the people in the area, only been greeted with kindness and respect, everyone I’ve seen minds their business. Me or my wife have seen no signs of roaches or water bugs, doesn’t mean we won’t as the summer comes and doesn’t mean every building is that way but if we ever did see bugs I’m sure based on the experience I had with the maintenance person for the property they’d be quick to fix it. I’ll update my experience towards the end of my lease but so far it looks like I won’t be going anywhere. I hope this helps, I see a lot of negativity in the short reviews but this place doesn’t make me or my wife feel unsafe or grossed out. They keep the grounds clean and seem to have been responsive with our concerns. Calling the number to the office gave us a bad impression just because it was hard to get someone to answer in my experience, but going in to the office to ask a question was quick and easy and the maintenance requests I did were both online. Overall 4 stars would be the correct rating in my experience. Only thing holding it back from 5 is the walls and some not so perfect repairs you can see on the dry wall. Again hope this helps!

I have resided in this location for a duration of two months, and I am currently contemplating the termination of my lease agreement in order to relocate. Considering Newport News’ suboptimal reputation, I comprehend the necessity of finding accommodation within our means. However, since my arrival, I have encountered numerous maintenance issues and infestations of pests. The complex has a substantial history of reports concerning roaches, termites, possums, and house centipedes. In the short time I have lived here, my air conditioning has malfunctioned on four separate occasions. Although maintenance promptly addresses these concerns, their efforts seem to provide temporary solutions rather than addressing the root causes. Regrettably, there is a lack of effective communication between the leasing office and the maintenance staff. The fact that the front door handle broke off serves as an indication of the dilapidated condition of this establishment. Police presence is conspicuous, and I have experienced instances of being followed home, which contributes to an overall sense of insecurity within the environment.

Leased for a year managed to stay 4 months of it. No closet space. Washer dryer in master bedroom which was inconvenient. Very very small you can hear everything your neighbor does. You have 0 breathing room. Tight compact, one way in and one way out and bug issues. Several times couldn’t get home because NNPD had it blocked off. Convenient location but do not recommend what so ever. My hot water ran cold my cold water ran hot. If it was affordable I’d say ok but it isnt.

Absolutely enter a lease for 26 lakeshore dr. on the first floor, 2 bed 2 bath.

The people above are early risers and so are their kids. They enjoy running up and down their hallways and screaming from 5am to 12am at night. You’ll never feel alone again. We’ve never met but I know their children’s name, they express their love very loudly upstairs so that everyone knows how deep their bond is.

Who needs peace and quiet when you can have the constant background noise of children’s laughter and tantrums, right? If you’re looking for an apartment complex that values the sounds of screaming kids and crying babies, then this is definitely the place for you. Five stars for the experience of a lifetime!

Sometimes they change it up and drop heavy objects to keep you on your toes and so you never forget they are there. It’s like having your own personal orchestra!

Don’t worry when you call the leasing office to express your appreciation for your upstairs neighbors for their thoughtful efforts, the leasing office will ABSOLUTELY pass on your message. They take such things very seriously.

BEST neighbors I’ve ever had. We will miss our dear upstairs neighbors when our lease ends.

I almost forgot, their lease just started so whoever takes over our lease when it regrettably ends gets to experience their neighborly hospitality for many months to come.

So, if you’re looking for a place with some extra excitement and constant noise, this is definitely the apartment building for you. And who knows, maybe you’ll even make some new friends with your upstairs neighbors – I hear they’re quite the social butterflies. Five stars, for sure!

Hurry in July this one’s a steal.

Currently living out of the area and military I spoke to a Mrs. Huffman who went above and beyond in my opinion to make sure I was taken care of. For me moving is a stressful thing especially when it is short fused but Mrs. Huffman’s calming nature makes this spot a NUMBER one on my list. Thank you so much for your help and I’ve now stopped my apartment search and look forward to September when I hopefully move in. Thank you for having staff that actually care and don’t treat it like a dollar bill. But yet a person. I look forward to getting to Virginia and calling This complex home. -Tim

Tein with the Digital Realty Team was able to sell my home in Norfolk approximately a month 5.25k over the asking price, even with the ups and downs he made this a smooth and quick transaction. He had the resources to get contractors to pay at closing which made it super convenient. I was aware of every step of the process thanks to regular calls and texts with updates on everything. I highly recommend chatting with them if you’re thinking of selling or buying a home for sale in Hampton Roads.

If I could give him more than 5 stars I would. He went above and beyond every step of the way.

We met with three local realtors, and decided to use Tein to list our house for sale. What impressed us was his professionalism, honesty, and energy. After picking him to be our agent, we were even more impressed by his kindness. After our house was listed, Tein did a great job of presenting us with offers, giving us his analysis and listening to our opinions. Tein kept us informed of market trends the entire time our house was listed. In the end, we sold our house in a timely manner for what we think was a good price and fair terms. We are glad we chose Tein to help us sell our house, and highly recommend him to others.

Tein with the Digital Realty Team was able to sell our home in The Riverfront Suffolk within 5 five weeks to a cash buyer, they also helped us get a month of rent back after closing. All of our requests were heard and our questions were answered quickly. They are very responsive and always update us proactively as well. We are pleased to have worked with the team, we highly recommend them if you are thinking of buying or selling your home in Hampton Roads. Tein was calm, cool, and collected throughout (especially when I wasn’t) and really helped us have a positive selling experience!

Tein and Claudia with the Digital Realty Team were able to get me the home where we had employees living at within 5 weeks. I know it was a tricky situation as you dont have much leverage when negotiating about a home you already have interest in but luckily with their help we were able to get some closing cost assistance and as well some repairs done. It was a smooth process in which I was aware and up to date with everything, and overall very happy we ran across them online. I would definitely recommend talking to them if you’re thinking about buying or selling.

Claudia and Tein of The Digital Realty Team were able to get me a beautiful condo in a gorgeous neighborhood of Oceanfront near the beach in Virginia Beach for 30k under the asking price, which is unheard of in this market. They were always available to talk and answer any questions. They were helpful and consistent without being pushy. They truly want people to find the property they are going to be happy with. They also helped me find a great contractor to work with to do some renovations after I bought the property and have checked in to see how I am doing with my new place! I would highly recommend this team.

Sadie was amazing! As 1st time home buyers we didn’t have any idea what to do or where to start and we were smack in the middle of retiring from the military. Sadie was extremely patient and professional with all of our indecision and pickiness throughout the whole process. Thank you Sadie and Liz Moore & Associates for helping us find our beautiful home.

When I think of Real Estate, I have four words: CHERI NICE, Liz Moore.

Cheri Nice sold my beautiful home in Kiln Creek when a health drama totally changed my life. Cheri listened to my new requirements and guided me to where I live now. And, this was huge, on the same day we closed on my house, we closed on my new home! I’ve now gratefully and happily lived here ten years and am still in love with it!

Cheri Nice has been a huge part of my “forever home” journey and I am ever so grateful for her real estate savvy, professionalism, sense of humor and overall kindness.

I always recommend Cheri Nice and Liz Moore when someone is looking to buy or sell. I am fully confident I am steering them directly to success!

This is a very user-friendly realtor. Cheri Nice was exceptional in selling our former home and buying our current home. She has great focus on details and it was obvious that she was genuinely interested in our welfare, not just the company. She occasionally comes by for a short visit especially during the holidays. If we were not in our “forever home” we would utilize her services again, but will always recommend.

Liz Moore and Associates listened to our desires for our home purchase and worked diligently to find the perfect house and location. The service and hard work continued through the negotiations, ensuring final price was fair. This company knows the local communities and worked hard to get us into our new home. That same professionalism and market knowledge helped us to sell our starter home quickly and for a fair price. Thank you Liz Moore!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Kenny Plourde from Liz Moore, and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. From start to finish, Kenny was an absolute joy to work with. He was knowledgeable, responsive, and went above and beyond to help me find the perfect home.

Kenny took the time to understand my needs and preferences, and he was always patient with me as I considered different options. He was a great communicator and kept me updated throughout the entire process, which made me feel confident and supported. Kenny was also incredibly thorough and detail-oriented, making sure that all of my questions were answered and that I had all of the information I needed to make informed decisions.

What I appreciated most about working with Kenny was his positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for helping me find my dream home. He was always willing to go the extra mile and made the entire process as stress-free as possible. Thanks to Kenny’s hard work and dedication, I am now happily settled in my new home and couldn’t be happier.

I would highly recommend Kenny Plourde and Liz Moore to anyone in the market for a new home. You won’t be disappointed!
