Great self service car wash. Decent price for rinse and soap up. Plenty of space to move around. Always clean and hardly ever a long wait. Vacuums have strong suction and give you plenty of time for you money. Token use only. They accept cash, card and tap pay. Car always looks great when we leave. Appreciate that others respect the rules and keep music at a minimum. Don’t forget your rags to dry your car after.

Idk if it’s because I come here in the afternoons and every Employee is tired and exhausted or because they just don’t pay attention to detail. I’ve came here plenty of times to get my car cleaned from the inside and outside. Only cost me $30. Sometimes they don’t wipe some easy access areas which kinda bothers me but they’re friendly everytime tho and I always leave them a tip because they’re hard workers. Gets your car cleaned tho even tho it’s not deep cleaned.

‘Alameda Hand Car Wash’ does an excellent job in power washing before a sponge ever touches the paint. It’s the best Car Wash I have taken my vehicles to. Next door is a Self Service Car Wash if you like to do it yourself.

Absolutely one of the most thorough and cleanest car washes I’ve ever had in the Bay Area! Seems to be family owned. I got the Detail #3 and paid a bit extra for pet hair cleanup and vacuum. Well worth it for the work they performed, both outside and inside my car! My mats were washed, too. They definitely deserve to be tipped, especially if it’s hot outside and there’s a line of cars waiting. Total time from start to finish was between 30-45 min. I’ll be coming back!

Located KSC Car Wash with a Quick Search for a hand car wash in Oakland, during my visit to the San Francisco/Oakland area.

First, I’m very picky when it comes to washing the Jeep Brute Double Cab, as it gets enough scratches on the trails(home driveway); so after reading recent reviews and then the great service from the moment I rolled through the gate – I can’t say enough of the service.

Second, my visit time was on a Sunday morning around 10:00am. I mention this because there were more than a handful of cars in front of me, and the line was moving fast; even though I was told around a 30 min wait, I was in and out in about 20 minutes, or maybe less🤔.

Furthermore, my expectations of the wash and dry service were soon surpassed; as I waited at the outside seating area, under the tent and noticed the cars in front of me coming out detailed and sparkling cleaned.👍
As for the actual wash: This establishment actually only hand washes and doesn’t sneak in the brushes to get those high areas that can’t be reached (I.e. the top of the cabin or the front an back windshield).
For the price of $4X.00 for the “oversized” vehicle price on the Brute Double Cab – I will not complain.
Car came out washed, dried(hand towels and blower).

If I’m in the area or if I need another wash before heading back home to Texas – I will definitely return to this place.
I recommend this place to all whose vehicles are in desperate need of maintenance and care. ✅

My first time coming here and my last time. I left and came back after noticing hot pink substance on the rear bumper. I informed them about it and they treated me so unfriendly and blew me off. Took my money and I gave a tip for outside only. After blowing me. I should’ve taken a photo of the hot pink bucket of stuff they use to wash car that sides in middle. Same color. Here is a photo of what was left on my car. They will mess your car up and not accept accountability. Never patronizing this business ever. Has this happened to anyone else?

I’ve been coming here for years but today is my last day coming here. We personally saw that an employee grab a drink from the car and proceeds to save it for later once confronted the employee proceeds to get an attitude for being caught and throws drink at the trunk and slams the trunk but since it’s automatic the trunk begins to push back. Apart from this happening we do a last minute inspection and we see that the letters are missing and looked tampered with. Really disappointed since the owners are nice and try to satisfy customers but it’s the employees that make it hard to come back.

Good car washes are rare around here. This place is excellent. Recently got my car washed for $45 (inside and outside). Came back after 30min to find it spotless. They found my girlfriend’s lost gold earring while washing the car and left it in the cupholder. Enough said.

First time I came here was great, $50 for inside and out my crosstrek. This time I had to haggle them down from $80 to $65. Not a great feeling when they should just have a set price for basic services. They do a good job.

  1. This place is one of the few errands in the Bay Area that is painless. I’ve gotten my oil changed here a few times now and I’ve been able to get out in about 10 minutes for an oil change. Staff is super friendly and organized. I haven’t run into a long wait of people ahead of me yet. I so appreciate a place that is organized and efficient!

  2. It was kinda funny because when I drove up to the front of the line, a tech (he was wearing a uniform like the other workers there) greeted me with my first name. I guess they had my card on file from the other time I got my oil changed there.

This was my second time going there. The worst part about going there, for me, is the location. It is in a bad neighborhood–just a block away from a homeless encampment. I loved that there was only one car ahead of me, and I was able to stay in my car the whole time.

The people who waited on me were friendly. The person who was physically doing the oil change couldn’t speak English–there were others that answered my questions. There was someone else checking the pressure on my tires. Someone else supporviising them. Some else who asked for my credit card.

It was a way different experience than many decades ago with just one person doing everything.

  3. I would never recommend my worst enemy go here. I have been going to the High Street Carwash for years. I paid them $45.00 and a tip to have them steal from me.

I went to the carwash, and as I was getting out, I saw my $325 Chloe shades in the case. I said to myself, Let me grab those, and started grabbing my phone, water bottle, and some papers with identifying information and completely forgot.

I then tipped the Man for providing a service and drove off. I went to grab my sunglasses case, and it WAS GONE! I called, and the Supervisor who went on to say he has worked there for 11 years and never had an allegation of theft! Red flag number one! I then reminded him that when I was paying for the wash, someone called saying their passport that was under the floorboard was gone! He said everyone blames the car wash but he would get back to me in a few days. I then drove back there and demanded to see the video, which is dark and does not keep a continuous recording of the vehicles.

I am livid; I wore those glasses almost every day. On my phone alone, I have over 50 pictures of me wearing those glasses, and for them to tell me they were not in my car when I wear them every day was so insulting. For me to pay for a service and then get my property stolen was so disturbing and disrespectful.

I will never go there again, and I say, GO AT YOUR OWN RISK!! To me, IT IS NOT WORTH it! I am making it my mission to tell anyone who will listen. It is not right to steal!

  4. These folks did a great job on a car made messy by two exuberant kids. They cleaned up dried spills, vacuumed, etc. and did a great job on the outside too.

  5. One of the best and fastest car wash with oil change they said in 8 minutes when they not busy but most of the time you may wait longer. They have great lobby for customer to be relaxed till they getting the car wash or oil change. Going there from long time meet nice people every time visiting. I think they are price is kind of higher. They need to have kind of deal for the customers who visiting always mast have a free car wash who changes oil in this location 2 to 4 time. I think it be fair!!!!
