I tried a different Blue Wave carwash. This one is located on Shary Rd. between old 83 and the expressway. I noticed right away this one is different from the one by my home. The entrance is longer and only has one lane. At the gate there is the option to pay if you do not have the sticker on your windshield. At the location on Trenton there are two lanes that you can pay at. I also noticed when I eventually got out of my car that this location doesn’t shine the tires. But, you gotta love
the car wash itself and how easy it is to get on the rollers that take your car for a lathery ride. Even if there is a long line of cars it goes quickly. Sarah on the customer care informed me that my last day was before the payment was on Easter. I asked her nicely could they please just cancel my account and refund since they were closed the day before. She informed me that I could have went into a car wash location that was open and canceled. I informed her that I wasn’t in the city or staying in the city no longer that I had the car wash subscription and therefore I couldn’t have walked into a location and canceled. She told me as of February 17th they don’t do no refunds for no reason. I asked her if I could speak to a manager. She said there wasn’t one available.I did like the car wash itself and the people that work there I had just told my wife that I thought the place was a good company and ran well. Apparently, they need to work on their customer service and be more sympathetic to people’s situations on a case by case basis. Or at the very least have somebody available like a supervisor or manager to talk to a customer when they want to talk about how they’ve felt treated unfairly. I was only with them for one month. I could tell Sarah didn’t care. I informed that I would be writing* a fair review about our encounter she had a choice. I hope it was worth the $15 that they charged me that I will never get to use their service for.

The machine doesn’t dry well at all. I don’t want to hand dry the vehicle every time I go through it! The Duck Quack place across the street doesn’t do that. AND I was involved in an accident INSIDE the tunnel. The car at the exit didn’t move so the car behind it crashed into it because I guess there are no sensors and the my car crashed into that one. I started honking like crazy and that is the only reason the machine was stopped and no one crashed into me. At the Quack place they always have an attendant at the exit making sure cars move along. As a car rental business i have to wash multiple vehicles on the day to day basis and quick quack makes it very easy to drive it through once and done. They have free vacuums and recently have added a pressure washer for rubber carpets and they do an amazing job at getting all the dirt and grime off. Highly recommend 10/10
I really like this place because it is easy to stop by and get a quick wash of your car. I got their membership since I like to have my vehicle clean and need. I gave them 4 stars because even though I like the place the last two times I’ve been there they do not have drying clothes available at the dispensers. It really bothers me to have to walk around and try to find one. Last time I wasn’t able to dry my vehicle.
So, I just wanted a simple car was. It’s too hot to hand wash my car, which is something I enjoy doing.
Rather the guy told me I have to “leave a 5 star review” because he can’t ring up single washes at the moment. I tell him I just want to pay for it. That I’ve never tried the service. He says I’ll love it and my car will look great and that he will upgrade me to their most expensive wash. (I declined)
I leave a 5-star review as he instructed knowing I’ll update it later to 4-stars and add a comment on being pressured into leaving a review.
I get my wash the cheapest. (Yes, I’m picky about how my car is washed, and what chemicals are applied) I drive home and I see my hood when I get out of my car, It’s dirty. I check the rest of the car and the trunk is dirty(Check the photos). This carwash would of costed me $11.99. It’s more expensive than a gas station car wash and it did an equal or worse job!!
I would of probably left without leaving a review had I paid for it and learned a lesson about taking it to an automated car wash. But they wanted a review so here it is.

This dude named David made my day at the Lucky Duck. He greeted me and was kind. As I handed him a towel, he assisted me in drying my car with Lucky Duck provided towels as I pitched my idea for the Lucky Duck… Management take note:I’d gladly pay five bucks if he’d hand dry my car after it came out. You should add this option. Help these kids make some more money.
Really good service! I have the monthly membership and dont regret getting it. Always have towels in stock to be able to clean outside and inside a big plus for me!
