I had a pleasant experience using Mr.Rooter plumbing. My technician Gavin was nice and very effective at explaining what was needed to fix the issue I was having. Not only was he effective at his explanation he was efficient. He was able to replace my faucet in about an hour which let me get on to the rest of my day quickly. Also I enjoy the way the new faucet look. I’d highly recommend 10/10

Water heater failed, and I didn’t notice until I had to take a cold shower. Called at midnight, they were there at 9AM, and a few hours later my old water heater (50 gal) was replaced with a similar one. Leaky valve also replaced, total came to $3300! Great value and quality of work.

I called in the morning and Dominique arrived within 2 hours. She resolved our issue (blocked main line) quickly, expertly and was a delight! Her level of service and efficiency was appreciated and I will absolutely use Mr. Rooter again.

Tony was very quick to resolve the issue, friendly and knowledgeable. He also recommended future maintenance to get ahead of any upcoming issues. I appreciate the care and response of the entire team! Courtney was very friendly!

Dale and Atama arrived very early in the 10 – 2 window I was given and replaced my leaking toilet with a shiny new, non leaking one. I really appreciate their pricing which is by the job rather than by the hour and how clearly everything is explained. It was a great experience overall and I will absolutely call them for my plumbing needs going forward.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Short Story: Two technicians tried to up sell me on a $1000 faucet replacement. 560 for labor and 400 for sink (before tax). I fixed the problem myself for free after technician told me that faucet spray hoses aren’t sold separately. Also charge $110 just for a diagnostic. Long story: I noticed leaking from my kitchen sink spray hose. Figured the spray nose needed repair or tightened and it was an easy fix they could figure out. First person they send (after being 2.5 hours late) tells me without even seeing it, “you should just replace the entire faucet. ” He takes a look at it and says I don’t have experience with this model faucet. I had to wait another day for them to send a “more experienced” second technician, Fernando, who quoted me $560 just for labor, but I could save $400 by buying my own replacement faucet. He told me straight that there was no way to fix the faucet hose without disconnecting all the hoses and installing a new faucet. Well Kohler sells the spray hose for 10 dollars, they sent it to me for free. I have zero experience with plumbing and I fixed it in 2 hours after watching a few YouTube videos. That means they were willing to charge me 560 dollars for what would have taken them 30 min. Red flags all around.

So thankful to have Ryan come out and help us today! He was so professional and so helpful and I am hopeful that we did prevention in addition to a quick fix to unclog 2 toilets that were both plugged up with no sign of relief in sight!

I had a great experience with Roto-Rooter. Woke up to our water heater leaking at 6:00am. Called around and Roto-Rooter was the first to answer. They could get someone out the same morning. Sam Leonte was our service technician. Right away he knew we needed to replace the water heater. He worked almost the whole day at our house doing the replacement. He was kind, knowledgeable and friendly. My husband and I were very pleased with our service from Sam. It’s never fun to spend money on something you didn’t plan for, but it makes it all the better when you have a great experience and service!

Joe came by at 10pm to help my partner and I rescue our cat from behind an electric water tank heater. We were really stressed and Joe was able to handle the situation professionally and help us out save the cat and the day. We really appreciate everything Joe was able to help us with and even re-installed the water heater. 100% recommend his service, very kind and friendly with customers and animals alike.

Excavation team was great. Victor Rosas, the field manager, was very patient, kind and considerate. He was very knowledgeable and willing to answer a myriad of questions in a way a lay person could understand. Ricky Pena, who actually did the repair, was also vey patient and kind. He explained things as he went along and didn’t seem to mind showing us the mess as he did the repairs. These guys are a great team. I have used Roto-Rooter in the past and recommend them to any of our friends with plumbing issues of any kind.

  1. Cody was excellent, knowledgeable and helpful, really went above and beyond in helping us fix an emergent water heater repair and other items related to having an old home. Was also available to explain things in steps, which I appreciated. They are not cheap but I have found they are quality. We’ve also used Aaron after a botched grinder pump install with a small plumber and another company that had us freakin, and he diagnosed, repaired and replaced what the others could could not.

  2. About a week ago I had Gene Johnson Plumbing come out to replace my tankless water heater with one that has a recirculation feature so I can get quick hot water to my kitchen sink (instead of waiting minutes and wasting so much water!), as well as other problems that weren’t addressed after buying the house (water condensation leaking from the exhaust as one example).

The tech, Chad Hendrix, had the most impeccable attention to detail while installing. He even stained the backboard that supports the tankless water unit so it’d look nice inside my garage! In the end, he took his time to explain how the system worked, what potential maintenance things I could do myself, as well has how to operate the unit if I wanted to adjust anything. This guy is passionate about his installs and making sure his customers are looked after – I’m glad he was the one to come to do the install, as most people are simply there to get the job done, get paid, and get out of there. Gene Johnson Plumbing, this guy deserves a bonus 🙂

  3. Chad did an excellent job , he pays great attention to details. You could never ask for a better employee. I am a retired commercial electrician and I wish I would have got to work around more people like Chad in my career. Gene Johnson Plumbing is very lucky to have Chad Hendrix working for them !

  4. We had a great experience with Mike Fenska at Gene Johnson, who came out for a consultation and then provided bid and did the work to install a tankless water heater and while home water filtration/softener system for us. It was clear from the initial consultation that Mike knows what he is doing, and that he understood our needs and would do the right thing for us. We were not disappointed – Mike was great at communicating throughout, patiently answered our follow-up questions, and did great work (on time, on schedule, no surprises, etc.). We highly recommend Mike, and Gene Johnson!

  5. Definitely call this team. Great experience working with them, even on short notice. Receptionist (forget her name) was excellent and informative, and she had someone onsite in less than two hours from my call. Dan and Jeremy helped us get to a fast, effective solution that didn’t require a major repair. Went from stressing out about it, to problem solved, in about three hours. Rates were totally reasonable for the responsiveness and effectiveness. Going to this group again next time I need a repair.
