Additionally, they do try to push lots of extracurricular activities into your plans, and will lie if you ask for something that they don’t have (I was looking for jet skis in Cancun and was told they didn’t offer them by a goblue employee but walked down the beach and was able to find jet ski rentals quicker than you can say jet ski rentals. Incredibly unorganized when it comes to the handing out of wristbands for clubs. Would go on a trip with them again as they were good people and tried to offer good service, but really need better structure more efficient employees. They were incredibly organized, and made everything go very smoothly. We had some safety concerns about going off the resort to the clubs but the Go Blue reps traveled with us and made sure we were all safe. I did not enjoy this experience with BJ’s travel. I only booked my trip yesterday and due to an unforeseen circumstance, required to cancel the trip 24 hours later. I purchased a refundable package to only find out it’s not really refundable. You still have to pay a $100 cancellation fee + plus you lose the $25 processing fee. Even airlines give you a 100% if you cancel within 24 hours. It seemed crazy that they could not waive the fee for any reason. I imagine if I even died they would charge my children the cancellation fee. I then canceled and got literally 40+ emails about the cancelation but none with the proper amount getting returned to me. I have to stop booking through third party sites…it never works out well for me. It’s either direct or a trusted travel agent.
Although I would have preferred to make all my arrangements online, there was additional savings that I could only apply through booking over the phone. Even though the process took longer, I was able to achieve everything I needed to do, along with the discounts over the phone. Rosie was great, and continues to be helpful even after the booking. I would always consider BJs Travel services as one of the options when I am booking a vacation.
First time using BJ’s Travel and I am sold! Kathy saved me over $600 on a cruise I really wanted to book. I typically am a do it yourself when it comes to booking my cruises…and always thought I was getting great deals. Kathy works miracles and she will get repeat business from me!
Lauren was great! She was very accommodating and super friendly, answered all our questions, made great suggestions for our situation. She promptly emailed us back afterwards when more questions came up. Looking forward to our trip!
