A few weeks ago I trusted this company to move my possessions to my new place. I trusted that they would take care of my property & protect my valuables. I believed them when they said they would reimburse for any lost or damaged goods. 3 of their workers moved my belongings to my new place which consisted of bedroom furniture, a few other miscellaneous items, & a few boxes. I ended up with the entire right side of my dresser completely scratched! As well as a stolen watch! The box I usually keep the watch in was completely empty. Even the watch holder was taken out which I never did. There was also a temperature control device that belongs to the company found in the middle of the box AND the tape of the box was pulled off. All of my boxes were completely sealed prior to the move. I reported this to the company. They stated I had no evidence & they have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to rectify this issue. I’ve sent several emails in which I have not gotten a response to. On top of all of that, due to a last min address change, I believe that I was overcharged for my move. I was charged over $1,100 to move less than 15mins down the street with not even a one bedroom amount of belongings. I have requested an itemized receipt to ensure the charges were correct which they have not provided yet. The TV now has scratches and a buzzing sound. There is damage done to the front door of my apartment from the way they moved in the couches. There is damage to all three of my couches. They broke one of my lamps trying to fit it in the truck and left behind the bulb for it. I made a damaged report and repeatedly called for a month and they gave me the run around. When they did finally reach out to me they questioned the damage to my television as if I was lying about the damage. Then they only offered me $200 in damages after I paid them almost $2000. Fred and Jeff helped me move today!! They were so quick and efficient. They took care of my stuff, made sure everything was where I wanted, and were super super fast!!! Also the online booking was super easy as well. They called me before coming to let me know they were on their way, which I really appreciated. From the start, my husband and I had to make changes to the appointment date and time and we didn’t even have a set address as to where we were going at first. Hornet Moving was very flexible with the all changes that we made. The phone call conversations were always polite and understanding. The email communications were very thorough, clear, and informative. We felt that we were in good hands from the beginning. On moving day, we received our call that our movers were 20 minutes out and they arrived promptly just after 1 pm. Devin T. and Elijah R. were very polite, professional, and courteous. They listened to our needs and concerns and handled our belongings with care. They were super fast and efficient at moving our items from our home and securing them in the truck. The unpacking at the new location was equally swift and seamless.
