They charge by the hour so the more you boz up yourself, the less you pay. Awesome service all around. I would recommend a cash tip per guy at $20+, put a cooler of drinks out, and get them some pizzas and subs. I always do that for people sweating it out at my house for a project but I also think it helped with the chemistry. - Reviews:I’ve used Best Movers Service three times now and they have not disappointed every time I’ve used them (twice for a one bedroom and once for a two bedroom). The prices are upfront with no fees, they are quick to respond, quick to pack all your stuff, show up on time, and even bring stuff to wrap up your furniture in (TV’s, entertainment consoles, bed frames, tables, and chairs). Once you have your furniture at your new place they will place it where you want it to go, so it makes unpacking a lot easier. They even offered to assemble my beds, which was nice. If you are worried about stuff getting damaged, this last time I used them (6/27/23) we had an incident where a lamp was broken and Alex was adamant about compensating the cost for it. He ended up taking off the cost of the lamp on the amount on the final bill, showing that he respects you and your stuff. I’ll definitely be using Best Movers Service for my next move. My only complaint is that they are too fast to move your apartment! Gentle Giants provided us with an amazing move. The services offered-dropping off boxes, wrapping paper etc so I didn’t have to make 1000 trips to Home Depot was very nice. They came the day before packed, and moved us so efficiently my husband and I were able to have celebratory dinner and drinks by 6:30pm. While present they set up furniture, rugs, etc just the way you want. They also then return when u call to pick up the boxes for recycle!!!! I would highly recommend them.
We had an amazing experience using Gentle Giant for our most recent move. From the first walk through to actual moving day, everyone on the Gentle Giant team impressed us with their customer service. The crew that packed and moved us was incredibly professional, careful, and efficient, and were all around nice people who seemed to really care about the service they were providing. The crew lead was very helpful when it came to navigating a few hiccups on moving day, and everything went smoothly and ahead of schedule! We are very, very happy we chose Gentle Giant for our move, and will recommend them to our friends.
I cannot recommend Gentle Giant enough – my move was seamless! The crew was extremely kind and professional and handled all of my items with great care. The process leading up to the move was also incredibly simple, the team is very responsive and on top of all communications/admin items. Had a wonderful experience with Gentle Giant moving from Virginia into DC. Tomas, Raul and Nick were the best movers I have ever used. They were extremely fast and efficient on both ends. They were also very friendly and willing to move furniture around after it was in my new apartment. We had a few discussions about difficult items like a large wall mounted TV, and the crew went out of their way to make sure we were happy. The customer service team was also great. They were so accommodating when I had to change the date of our move on short notice and everything was emailed and confirmed over the phone. Response time was very fast. Five stars isn’t enough. I will absolutely use this company again for future moving services.
