Today I had the pleasure of having Artie and Tommy come out to change a toilet, replace so broken shut off valves and change some piping on the heating system. Joe came out of short notice and helped get us out of a tight spot with our kitchen sink. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Also carefully explained to us what he was working on and stuff we could do ourselves to mitigate future issues. Thank you Joe
Our toilet was clogged up. We were not able to remove the clog with a plunger or an auger. I called Rotor – Rooter as a last resort. They were able to get here pretty quickly. Ron was able to unclog the toilet fairly quick. He was polite and friendly.
My only complaint is that it was much more expensive than I thought it would be.
The plumber and the quality of the work they did was great, that was not my problem.
Called them for an estimate on changing the wax ring of a toilet. They won’t provide an estimate over the phone for any type of job at all, even something this small. I figured it couldn’t be so bad so I went ahead and booked… the day the plumber arrives I find out they charge $500 just to replace a wax ring… for 20 minutes of actual labor and $8 of parts. What a ripoff. Definitely try elsewhere first for your repairs.
James showed up within the window that I was told – 2 hours on a Saturday night. Good quality work – he found the clog in the kitchen sink and cleaned up neatly after the job. I would use again. Roto-Rooter may not be the cheapest option but they were professional and very timely.
It seems this company is a complete scam. On 6/19/2023, I had an appointment for a draining issue in the bath sink and shower and after the visit they quoted $500 to fix both the issue. I asked for the time to think if I want to go ahead with the fix. I called them again on 6/26 that I would like to go ahead but this time they quoted $1000 for the same service which was completely shocking to me as we had a detailed discussion and it was told to me that we can fix this and the best price will be $500. I reported my concern and I was told that it will be addressed but they didn’t. It seems they do not have any standard pricing for the specific job and try to mint as much as possible which was a completely shocking experience and not expected from a company which boasts otherwise. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.
