We had a great recent experience. We have sailed many times from this port but this current time was one of the best. Before sailing we had some precautions that were communicated to us in a timely manner. We were able to document our vaccines through an app Verifly and take a covid at home test and recieve results swiftly to board without any hiccups. We had lots of fun, entertainment and food! The Carnival app was a great assistance for chatting with family on board, ordering room service and finding out what events were going on.

We had a great time on our first cruise! We thought our cruise director, Lawrence, was very funny & charming. Our steward, Sudana, was amazing at directing us if we were lost or just genuinely wanting to know how we are doing. He is such a sweetheart!! He was concerned for me when I lost my phone and asked every time he saw me in the hallway if I found it. Sudana definitely deserves a promotion! A personal map of the ship would have been helpful. We got a little lost trying to find the Limelight Lounge that was having a comedy show. Arrived a couple minutes late and it was closed because too many people. We were confused on which dining room to go to for free food (besides the buffet) Guy’s burgers and the Blue Iguana are really good! The Marketplace buffet is… okay. The red drain slide has a bump at the end and I hit my head. I will say the TV in the room was a bonus we didn’t expect. The map channel is awesome!

Nice port for carnival ships. Process are nicely organized. It’s better to come at the time they said in the appointment else you will need to stay in the line longer. Facial recognition in and out was wonderful. Uber and Lyft pickup can be arranged better as we need to walk to railroad museum to take the cab.

Not to the port but to the carnival breeze cruise cloud spa. Completely disgusting by their treatment, the made me change rooms half naked because the lady who called me first was not my actual therapist for the massage, I complained and the spa manager was a completely jerk even raised her voice, said I should have complained before on the day of the incident. Their spa is very dirty, the hot tub smelled like sewage by the third day of the cruise. I complained 3 times and they never cleaned it, worse part is that you actually pay extra for access to the spa

Was a great adventure, we saw several dolphin. The guides were friendly, and seem to enjoy their job. They did a great job interacting with the guests, and were knowledgeable about the area. Great trip for our party of 11. I would recommend spending an hour on the water!

This was such a fun adventure. I was amazed that you can see Dolphins in Galveston – who knew! The boat is located on Pier 21, a hop skip from the parking lot by Willie’s restaurant. We took the 3:30pm cruise on a blazing hot July day, but once on the boat, we were sitting under the shaded top and enjoying a nice breeze off the water, so it felt great. Tip: Bring cash only if you want cold water and soda on board. Crew was friendly and welcoming and they took us out to 3 sights to see Dolphins. We learned that it is illegal in Galveston to bait or attract Dolphins, so having a crew that does this day in and day out helps, as they know the spots where the Dolphins are swimming around. We saw two at the first spot, another few at the second, and then 4-5 at the last stop – and those came MUCH closer to the boat. While we were cruising around, we also got insight into the island and little tidbits. The boat has plenty of space, so we never felt crowded, and we of course would all rush to one side or the other when a Dolphin appeared. My kids (6 & 8) loved it, as did my husband and I. And, it’s only an hour, so the timing is perfect to come back and enjoy a meal or happy hour at one of the restaurants (don’t forget to get your parking validated at the restaurant of your choice for free parking!), or hit the shops after. It was a fun thing to do that provided a nice break from the beach. We also loved watching their faster jet boat skeedadle from the pier, although we didn’t ride it. 🙂

The guys, Steve’s and Zared, taking us out very polite and fun! Well worth the trip! Saw a few dolphins but just being out on the water was amazing!!

So fun! We lucked out big time and saw SO MANY dolphins within just a couple minutes of our departure — some so close I could barely believe it. We weren’t traveling with anyone that required wheelchair accessibility but I have in the past, so I always take note — this would’ve been very easy to get a wheelchair on/off of & to be comfortable & enjoy. Great for all ages. We had 3 “kids” with us — ages 21, 15 & 11. A true family friendly adventure. Long enough to see plenty but not so long little kids (or hard to please teens ?) would become bored. Plenty of parking close. Will cost you around $13 to park for up to 2 hours in the lots across the street. Kudos to the crew for a great afternoon!

Took a really fun and relaxing sunset cruise. Got the chance to see dolphins too and enjoy a nice evening on the water.

  1. We had great time on the boat ! Captain Adam was very friendly and entertaining. We saw dolphins playing in the water. Captain Adam talked about several historical sites and some stories about the local area. It was great just being out on the boat. We will definitely come again.

  2. Our family went on the dolphin tour, pirate adventure and tour of Galveston. All attractions were 5 out of 5 stars. All tour guides were very friendly and helpful. We seen a lot of dolphins and even a few baby dolphins.
The pirate adventure was super fun and informative. And tour of Galveston was amazing because it was air conditioned and highly informative. Thank again Pat.

  3. Love their tours! We have sent both our parents on these. We enjoyed it with friends & our girls last year. This was better than a year ago! Our tour guide was funny, knowledgeable, and friendly. He took us up close to the USS Texas, Royal Carribean Allure, & tall ship Elissa! We must have seen at least 50 dolphins! We will definitely return and continue to send our family and friends that visit!

  4. You will save money if you book directly through the website and not the third party. The staff was very friendly and they did a great tour. I’m happy that we saw a dolphins but it was only a couple. I know it’s hit or miss and there is no guarantee but really wish we could have seen more. The tour guides were great!

  5. Awesome experience! We had 13 in our party from 3 years old and up and everyone enjoyed every second. Captain Adam was fun and informative. My Dad has limited mobility and the crew was very helpful getting him on and off the boat. We’ll do it again next year and highly recommend to everyone considering.
