Our guide Chris Pappas was world class in every way. He was professional, efficient, organized, and entertaining. I must have asked him several hundred questions over the week, all of which he answered with smile on his face and seemingly unending patience. Our group included approximately thirty 7th & 8th grade students and he kept his cool throughout and made the tour engaging for their relatively short attention spans. I can’t say enough good things about him. Similarly, our bus driver Kevin provided a great experience with his positive attitude, knowledge about our destinations, and many tidbits of wisdom for the students in our group. He got to know the kids & connected with them. His positive & fun-loving nature made them want to listen & hear about Washington DC. He was knowledgeable & shared background info with us on the bus & during each site visit – he was concise and to the point, which is important with kids. He knew his audience!! His timing was great – we’d roll up to a site before other groups, which gave our group the advantage in positioning to see more from a better location. He had a great rapport with our leader & chaperones plus with our amazing bus driver Kevin (who was always right there in picking us up & getting great parking spaces when dropping us off). Our guides, Scott and Kathleen, were so knowledgeable and made the trip wonderful. Both of our guides knew the best places to look for the different types of wildlife. My favorite was our mama bear with her two cubs spotting. The guides assisted us with binoculars and had scopes, which made it feel like the animals were right next to us! Snacks, a delicious lunch, and reusable water bottles were all provided. They are extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife, the ecosystem and everything in-between. I had been to Yellowstone a dozen times with friends and family before going on a safari with them, and their trips are next level. You see things that you’ve never noticed before and are way more likely to see wildlife since they are in the park everyday and know the animals patterns. This is an amazing service. They drive you up the river and bring you back after you float the river. It was fun.
We had such a blast tubing down the madison river! It was very relaxing, but be sure to wear good water shoes because you may need to reroute your tube every now and then. Make sure you read all detailed instructions from the confirmation email! Overall such a great adventure!

Had a great time doing the river float with this company. Super nice and no hassle! Staff was all really friendly and flexible. Never felt rushed on the river, you’re allowed to go at your own pace which was super nice.

Love love love floating with Madison tubes!! I work summers in Virginia city, and I’ve floated the river with friends but it was always such a pain to coordinate and get floats and blow them up then deflate them and get it home…
This takes out all of the struggle for a super adorable price ! Absolutely love everything about this float. So much easier, no hassle, gorgeous float, and every addition you could ever want to borrow. Highly recommend the cooler, comes with its own float and ice !
