  Our trip to Cancun went perfectly smooth. Their entertainment on this long flight was much appreciated. The plane was clean, comfortable and the attendants were very polite. Our return trip started late so there was doubt whether we would be able to make our connecting flight. Not sure exactly whose fault it was, but rather how it was dealt with. Knowing we were cutting it short to make our connection, we were kicked off the plane first to give us a chance. Unfortunately, we didn’t make the connecting flight. They were very quick about booking us on the next available. Now with all the craziness going on at the airports, I was happy with how quickly we were able to get home.

  On our way to Mexico the service, staff, and flight were fabulous. We were traveling as a group of six and had specifically purchased seats together. They were all messed up and the airline was more than kind about fixing it and were so friendly and nice to us. It made our flight SO much better. On our way home the same thing happened and when we asked to fix it, we were met with extreme rudeness. They told us we booked our flights too far in advance to keep our seats together. It was really bizarre because we had purchased a row of six and Delta had removed to the middle people and replaced them with strangers. It would have been very awkward to have two of our group off alone and two other people placed between the rest of us. It was a bummer way to end our trip.

  The flight was on time which was great. The seat in the business class was okay although by now a little dated. The food quality was acceptable but not impressive, very much standard stuff. The drinks selection was quite limited and there was no drinks menu. The staff were friendly but quite passive – they did not come by to ask if anyone needed anything in between food rounds. And the worst was that there was no coffee at the end of the flight because they had ran out of water! Overall just passable for a business class service.

  The flight from Columbia to Atlanta was on one of those little commuter aircraft so it gets the job done, but not terribly comfortable. The flight from Atlanta to Tucson was good. No meals served unless you want to buy from their limited menu, but drinks and snacks are provided. Video is outstanding.

  It seems like the last few years that we have been flying Delta they have been going downhill. There have been numerous flight delays, switching out of flights, etc, so we were surprised that this time the flight left on time. The seating isn’t ideal in economy, and very squishy, particularly the plane we were on. This flight there was some turbulence so service took quite awhile. That’s not their fault, but it does make for a less pleasant flight.
