  1. I did enjoy the flavor of the donuts at Randy’s Donuts. The major aspect of this donut shop that people need to be aware of is how busy it is. Prepare yourself to wait. I waited 35 minutes after getting in line 10 minutes before the 6am opening time. With the combination of people ordering 7 boxes of donuts and issues with the credit card machine, this was a slow experience. I ordered a raspberry filled donut as well as a chocolate glazed donut. They tastes good, but there needed to be more filling in the jelly donut. Overall, I would recommend waiting several months before visiting this spot. The staff was friendly and helpful, I appreciated that.

  2. To be fair, we landed at the end of the day, and they were almost out of donuts. I bought 4 different ones since this was my first time trying the famous Randy’s Donuts. Freshness was lacking. The glazed was meh, the chocolate on the Long John had a dark chocolate flavor that I liked, and the maple ice cake was dense with great maple flavor. I enjoyed the buttermilk bar the most as it seemed freshest of all. I can not say I was impressed with this visit, but to be fair, I will return early in the morning to give it a fair shot. Stay tuned for part 2.

  3. I woke up at 4am to attend the grand opening! I was among the first 50 people to receive a signature Randy’s donuts cup which I can get coffee until the end of 2023. A big shout out to the management team for organizing this!

I was greeted with warm welcomes from the staff. The donut selection was nothing short of impressive. I counted 56 donut types among the Classic, Deluxe, Fancy, and Premium. It’s a bit overwhelming to try just one at a time. Fortunately it’s $2 off if you order a dozen.

The interior of the shop has a handful of tables to accommodate those who want to eat inside. There’s also a huge donut on the wall if you want to take a picture.

If you visit before noon (12pm) on May 3rd, you’ll get a free raised glazed donut! It’s delicious!

  4. Bought a dozen donuts and tried a variety. Seems like some of the donuts are way better than others. Tried my favorites. The chocolate cake donut was average. Chocolate old fashioned was pretty good. The butter crumb was very good and so was the cinnamon crumb. The only one I didn’t like was the glazed old fashioned which is too bad because that’s always my go to choice. This on tasted bad like old oil. Overall I thing some of the donuts were better than your average shop but the rest of them were pretty much what you can get at your local shop. The place was clean and the staff were all courteous and helpful.

  5. Meant to post this a while back. I attended the grand opening to see what the hype was about. Line at the time took me about 2 hrs to get through. Grabbed an assorted half dozen. Personally wasn’t a fan of the ones with many toppings. Plain glazed is the way to go at Randy’s for me.
