First time stepping a foot into this place, and gotta say, the shop looks amazing! You get greeted the minute you walk in. Their barbers are so good and professional to a point that I know I finally found my new forever barbershop! Wayne was absolutely amazing! He did so good of a job on my beard that I can’t say enough on how amazing he did! I’m so glad that I found this place and found Wayne! Finally, I can say I found my Barbour after almost 2 years of searching! Go in and see for yourself to anyone who wants to look good!

I go about every 6-8 weeks. Very friendly area, clean cuts, free drinks as well. That hot towel always feels great. I usually bounce around barbershops, because I can’t find a decent barbershop. Make sure to book your appointment with your preferred barber and if unsure, they’ll select one for you.

I waited an additional day to travel back to Utah so I could have one final haircut with Bobby. Bobby is a talented barber and a great conversationalist which makes the experience that more enjoyable. I will be back in San Diego at Christmas to see Bobby.

A bit pricey, but thankfully you do get what you pay for. Professional cut and great atmosphere. As advertised, they offer free drinks and good conversation. Will be returning.

I’ve been visiting Pappy’s Barber Shop (College Area) for 8+ years. Roger is the best over there in the Premium Shop, but everyone is solid. Pappy is running a Pro shop and I cant recommend them enough!

I had an appointment at Friday for 9am as soon as they opened. I made an early appointment because I had to be at a show by 11am. I walked in and asked for a fade. The girl they assigned me said she doesn’t normally do fades so she was going to start cutting my hair and then hand it off to another barber who was more experienced with fades. The girl ended up cutting my hair from a 4 to a 0 without fading it. She also cut my hair so slow that it took an hour before she finally handed me off to the other barber. He did a better job but was not able to save my cut. It took them 1-1/2 hours before they finished. Then they charged me $55 for a haircut I was not happy with. They didn’t offer any discount or even apologized for what happened. I was then late for my show. Will never be back here. You can find much better barbers for a much better price.

This was my second visit to Floyd’s 99. I am very satisfied both times. Very clean place and friendly staff. You can usually find a walk-in slot otherwise book an appointment. Prices are reasonable compared to other places. I hope they don’t increase. I would recommend Floyd’s 99!

I WANT MY MONEY BACK. Edited: I emailed the owner after their response. I booked my appointment online so I am wondering how you don’t have my information. Zero stars. I booked Floyd’s cut. This haircut (as per website) said to take more than 30 minutes ATLEAST for proper hairstyle. I entered at 10am and I was out at 10:15am. She cut my hair so fast. I came here for the first time to try as I usually go to other places. But never coming back. I have to live with these hairs atleast for few days. DON’T GO HERE. Edited (just got home and saw the worst part) She didn’t even brush off excessive hairs. She cut my hairs so bad at one part my skin is exposed.

The Ultimate Guide to Visiting Haircuts San Diego

When using products or services in Haircuts San Diego, there are several things to consider to ensure you have a satisfactory experience.

  • Quality of products: Look for salons that use high-quality products for haircuts. This will ensure that you receive the best results and your hair remains healthy.
  • Professional stylists: It is important to choose a salon that has experienced and skilled hairstylists. They should be knowledgeable about different haircut styles and able to provide personalized recommendations based on your hair type and face shape.
  • Clean and hygienic environment: Check if the salon maintains a clean and hygienic environment. They should use clean tools and equipment, and follow proper sanitation practices to prevent the spread of infections or diseases.
  • Customer reviews and reputation: Before choosing a salon, read customer reviews or ask for recommendations from friends or family. This will give you an idea about the salon’s reputation and the quality of their services.
  • Price and value for money: Consider the price of the services and whether it offers good value for money. While the cheapest option may not always provide the best results, it is also important not to overpay for a haircut.
  • Range of services: If you are looking for additional services such as hair coloring, styling, or treatments, check if the salon offers these services. It is more convenient to choose a salon that provides a wide range of services in one place.
  • Appointment availability: Before visiting a salon, check if they require appointments or accept walk-ins. This will help you plan your visit and avoid long waiting times.

By considering these factors, you can have a positive experience when using products or services in Haircuts San Diego. Remember to communicate your expectations and desired outcome to the stylist to ensure you leave the salon with a satisfactory haircut.

  1. Good haircuts, but beware if you’re using a coupon.

I verified my coupon with my stylist before sitting down for my cut, he said it was good. When it comes time to pay, my coupon somehow is no longer accepted at this location. They charged me more than double the price on the coupon that my stylist said would be fine to use.

  2. Stopped in here early morning for a quick haircut while waiting for the nearby stores to open. Wait times at opening were about 15-20 minutes without an appointment, not bad. The stylist was nice but the haircut wasn’t great. Very choppy and layered versus a fade/gradual transition. Felt like a $10 haircut but cost me $40. Went here because it was convenient, but wouldn’t go back.

  3. I have been a customer for over 2 years and have never had a bad experience however over the past 2-3 months I have been having haircuts issues and always walk out dissatisfied. Today, I got a haircut with a new hair stylist and apparently she used a infected (dirty) blade or something on my hair and neck that caused a horrible allergy reaction. This is just scary and totally unacceptable. The management needs to make sure all their equipments are sanitized and clean. This is very unprofessional.

  4. Got a haircut today at sports clips Fenton in Mission Valley around 7 pm. Was my first time there. When checking out an asked if there was a first time visitor discount. Two employees claimed said they were giving me a senior price discount which was clearly priced as $25. I tried to tell them I was a senior as I am 72 but somehow I couldn’t get through to them that I wasn’t getting any discount as $25 was what the base price was. Not wanting to argue over a few dollars I paid the $25 in cash and left a tip. Haircut was adequate and done in under 10 minutes. Perhaps they should ask a person if they are a senior rather than assuming they are under 65 and act like they gave them a discount when none was given.

  5. They can not simply make appointments orderly. I always make an appointment online and when I go there I gotta sit there for an hour. Today I called and checked if it is actually my turn and they were like yeah come in. I went there and they told me hour wait again. They’re just lost and can’t figure this thing out.
