A good local store. Well stocked with items that we needed. Quality of fresh produce was a plus, better than other stores we have noticed going downhill with the quality. We found that prices were very comparable to other stores. Vegetarian options and prices were a plus. We would recommend this store to others. We were also looking for car oil. The store used to stock this but unfortunately we could not find it and had to stop over at the petrol station. We used the self service and had no issues at the tills.

Sainsbury’s are finally getting a The Restaurant Hub located at Sainsbury Swansea. I can’t believe Harry Ramsdens is coming to Swansea. The Swansea Restaurant Hub is where the old cafe was (Fresh kitchen) at the rear of the store by the tills. The Restaurant Hub includes a @harryramsdensuk @edsdiners and a cafe. Good luck with the grand opening today

Lovely staff in the cafe couldn’t help us enough and so friendly and had a lovely cup of tea and coffee with toast. Plus my daughter was really impressed as it was the first time she has ever seen anyone in a wheelchair working in a shop this made her day know that everyone is treated equally

Shops is decent but went to use the toilet people sitting in there for nearly 40 mns hiding probably staff hiding from a shift as when I finally got a cubicle it was a Sainsbury’s employee that had been in there for 40 odd minutes, also couldn’t use the disabled toilet as the toilet was completely blocked with loo roll and shoplifted products socks etc if a disabled person wanted to use the loo they would be unable to and that is not good at all…. Store bathrooms need to be actually cleaned the pee stains on the bathroom look years old…..

Beware the Euro Car Parks, heaven forbid you try to spend money at Sainsbury’s twice in 1 day – you will get a parking fine with incorrect times. Make sure you always challenge these. I had a breakfast at the cafe, went for a walk in Gower then stopped to buy some food on the way home, but then got a parking fine for being in the car park for 3 hours 41 minutes

They bake donuts fresh! And after a thorough price comparison with Aldi and Asda, came out the cheapest for a local shop. Excellent store made pizza. Vegetable section was a little bare.

Prices and range of products in the foodhall are excellent. Love the clothes shop with something for the whole family. The restaurant has a really good selection of hot and cold foods. Only drawback is the disabled toilet on the ground floor which always seems unpleasant and lacking on attention.

Toilets very dirty and run down. The escalator makes the most worrying sound when going upstairs. Considering Sainsbury’s are claiming record profits it seems pretty run down inside

Great selection and competitive pricing. My main gripe is the toilets. Never any soap or loo roll. Dreadful really. Surely someone checks them?

  1. Hands down the one of the best Sainsbury’s in Manchester. There’s a large variety of foods and products here. They’ve even got a good selection of vegan foods, halal food and kosher food.

The special offers and sales are great for people looking for a bargain or cheap groceries.

The only down side I’ve seen to this Sainsburys, and the reason I have it 4 out of 5 stars is because of the untidy and dirty till and checkout areas. They’ve got boxes and receipts lying around all over the floor which I took pictures of for reference.

Other than that, this Superstore petty much has it all.

  2. A big Sainsbury’s superstore that can find most of your needs. And there are over 200 parking bays with 3 hours free parking. Sainsbury’s petrol station is also available on another side of car park.

  3. I know prices have risen but, there are usually less expensive alternatives and I’ve always found the staff to be helpful, friendly and polite.

The thing that really irritates me is the stock being moved….I know the reason is so you see other products that you might buy but, if I wanted other items I would look for them….as it is, I get most of my 10000 daily steps in walking up and down the sodding aisles trying to find where they’ve moved what I’m after to….in the end I went to a Tesco local, paid a bit extra but at least I didn’t need to look all over for what I wanted.

I noticed while I was there that they have security, gates and barriers plus if you use the self service, there are one or two staff in that area yet you have to show a receipt to exit….it’s a joke…..my visits there will be very few and far between from now on…..

  4. Staff working on tills deliberately don’t push products down to make you reach and slow packing proces down. If you’re in rush then don’t come across.

If you have no Nectar card or if you forget then they’ll charge you more for your products. There should be option of typing nectar card number.

Some Self Serve tills are always closed and you’ll queue for working ones. Don’t forget to grab receipt in your mouth to swipe thru barriers otherwise you can be treated as a thief.

It was my favourite shop by over a decade and now I’m going over there only when I must.
