2 months agoThis afternoon, after purchasing about $100 worth of merchandise, the clerk refused to load it into my cart. If something is unusually heavy, I’ll be happy to load it myself, but there was nothing there that weighed more than 10 to 15 pounds. So I asked her, “Is it my job or your job to load it in the cart?” To which she responded, “It’s your job.” I then asked to speak to a manager. When the manager got there I explained I wanted my purchase loaded in my cart. The manager loaded it herself. So it’s clear to me, Target, or at least this location, is fine with inconveniencing and embarrassing customers like me, by requiring me to call a manager every time I make a purchase, holding up the line, because I have the gall to want/ask the clerk to load what I just bought into the shopping cart. I’ve shopped at Target for years. I generally like the store, the merchandise, etc., but am unwilling to tolerate this 0% customer service. I don’t go there every week, but when I do go shopping there, I usually buy $100 to $200 worth of merchandise, or more. I will never shop at this location again, ever. This is ridiculous. There’s too many other places to shop to put up with this lack of customer service. I’ll have to think about whether I’ll ever shop at other Target locations or not again. It’ll probably be a long, long time.5 months agoThey have a food court! My son is a picky eater but it’s a guarantee meal when it’s a target food court with pizza hut and bread sticks. The only drawback is Bosch the parking lot can be messy getting in and out of and it can take a while.2 months agoIn January 2020, an employee named Pablo M. who worked at Customer Service at this Target location had very bad attitude. I came with my mother to return an item, he spoke to her in a very condescending way that he could only exchange it, because she opened the box. But when I asked him if he could hold it for her at Customer Service while we find another one to exchange it, he gave my mom a snarky attitude that she has to carry that big box with her around the store while looking for a replacement to refund it. So my mom has to carry 2 big boxes around the store? I myself have returned items there before, and Customer Service has held on to my large items for me while I look for a replacement.He treated my mom very poorly and was getting frustrated with her, because she did not speak english well. I felt the need to defend my mother from him talking down to her. He was very arrogant and rude, trying to be a smart mouth to me as well as talking over me, patronizing my mother and I. He seemed more preocupied trying to look “cool” infront of his coworkers and trying to “fit in” with them like as if he were at school, rather than be there to work and treat customers well.
He also sent me a message on October 30 2022 saying “I just want to say thank you for the Target review back in 2020 for my “bad attitude” it still makes me laugh til this day 🙂 “
I think it’s innapropriate for employees to send messages to customers reviewing their performance at work. Especially when it has been almost 3 years since I first left that review.

a week agoLove shopping for my cosmetics and toiletries at target and I still get $5 coupon each time. My last visit, the cashier was so helpful & friendly, I wish I took her name if I had known I would be doing this review.3 months agoConsidering that there is no self serve I find the cashiers to be tyrannical when asking if we can get extra cashiers to help since the line was long. Her answers was a flat “no”. No explanation, no calls for help. To which I responded that this is the worst Target ever. Despite the poor service, the store was well stocked. During checkout, DON’T leave or move until you double check your receipt. Fix the problem while checking out instead of being sent to the return line to fix the problem.

This is one of their super Targets. Well stocked, organized and clean. Underground parking – great for Walnut Creek hot summers and cold winters. Lots of checkouts so the line to pay is never long. And a Starbucks bigger than many standalones in the area.
8/30/2019 Update: Target finally finished their big in store remodel. The Pizza Hut / Food location has been removed for a now a larger Self-Serve “Snack Bar” (healthier snacks) in front of the Cash Registers Area (where Starbucks use to be at) and the Starbucks has now been moved to the left of where it used to be.
3/14/2020 – New Capital One Atm at the front entrance
Every few months, my wife and I go to Walnut Creek on business. We are not very familiar with the area, but the Target store there is like a massive Landmark. It is by far, the largest Target we have been in. They have an underground parking garage for their customers, which is very convenient. We were a little lost the first time we went inside the store. But, true to form, Target has some of the nicest employees that are happy to go out of there way to show you what you are looking for. Target has a vast selection of goods and services. We never go away disappointed.
The power was out in some places through our Walnut Creek yesterday. Target had their emergency lights on and stayed open. I overheard that the fridgerated and frozen food areas were closed. There were also a few police at the front when we showed up and an ambulance when we left. The employees were very helpful and kind. A Target trip I won’t forget.
Great experience, looking for couple specific toys for a birthday, and I was overwhelmed looking for toys and all the aisles. It was also Very busy!!
Tova helped me find the toys I was looking for. She looked them up and helped me, she was patient and kind. Thank you Tova!!!!🥰☀️

The staff is amazing and so helpful.There is one employee named Daniel he is on top of his game. So far every time I needed help he has been very responsive and polite. That guy needs a raise or something because he goes out of his way to help people. But yah this store is beyond great with items, food, and employees.
