4 months agoAround 8pm on a Friday night , couldn’t even get through the aisles in the shoe department, it was a mess !! And I didn’t take pictures of the swimsuit women area , but it was the same , clothes all over the floor & couldn’t get through the aisles without having to pick up everything. Everything else was fine , they need to have employees organize, it’s very messy3 weeks agoEasy returns at Target! The service rep greeted me with a smile and was very polite. Target will accept many methods of returning items, even the Target app. Too bad I did not need them for my vacation. Oh!a month agoThis Target is starting to give me Walmart vibes. Can someone explain to me why is there always one or two cash registers open when there is literally 10/15 at this location? The self check out lines are literally wrapped around: you are looking to stand for 20/30 min waiting to use the self checkout if there are no cash registers open. And most of the time no one is at the registers. It’s such an inconvenience that you cannot run in and out.2 months agoI shopped at the North Lakeland Florida today. During circle week and as always the store was clean as a whistle, well stocked and near the entrance there was a new display of beautiful cut flowers and potted house plants. Very nice! Target in Lakeland FL: Do’s and Don’ts Every Shopper Should Know
When shopping at Target, there are certain rules that customers should follow to ensure a pleasant and hassle-free experience. Adhering to these rules helps create a respectful and safe environment for both shoppers and employees.
Here are some key rules to keep in mind while shopping at Target:
- Follow the store’s opening and closing times: Be mindful of the store’s operating hours and plan your visit accordingly. Arriving before closing time can ensure you have enough time to complete your shopping without rushing.
- Respect social distancing guidelines: During times when social distancing is required, make sure to maintain a safe distance from others while shopping. This includes standing in line, browsing aisles, and waiting at the checkout counter.
- Wear appropriate attire: While Target does not have a specific dress code, it is essential to dress respectfully and in alignment with the store’s general guidelines. Avoid overly revealing or offensive clothing.
- Observe shopping cart etiquette: Return shopping carts to designated areas after use. This helps keep the parking lot organized and prevents damage to vehicles.
- Clean up after yourself: If you decide not to purchase an item, return it to its proper place on the shelves instead of leaving it in a random location. This ensures that other customers can easily find what they are looking for.
- Be courteous to employees and fellow shoppers: Treat employees and other customers with respect, kindness, and patience. If you need assistance, politely ask a staff member who will be happy to assist you.
- Adhere to payment procedures: Follow the store’s payment guidelines, such as using cash, credit, or other accepted forms of payment. Avoid attempting to use expired coupons or engage in any fraudulent activities.
- Follow return policies: Familiarize yourself with Target’s return policies and procedures. This will help you understand the requirements for returning or exchanging items if needed.
By following these guidelines, shopping at Target can become an enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Respect, consideration, and adherence to the store’s rules contribute to a positive atmosphere for both customers and employees.

It’s a time old tale- when you walk into a Target, it don’t matter what you went in to buy. You could make a strict list and try not to get distracted grabbing anything outside of it, but no matter how hard you try, you WILL leave Target with more than you planned to. We’ve all been there, still are there, or will be there in the near future.
I love me some Target, like most women. It’s overall a pretty great store- they have cute and affordable clothes, a ton of home decor/ furniture, usually a good amount of food and produce, pharmacy and more. Going on a random trip to stroll through Target is a fantastic use of an hour or two.
This is one of two Targets in Lakeland, and is the south location. It’s generally a super nice location, as most Targets are known to be. It’s the one I frequent, but I do think the north Lakeland Target is the superior store. This south Target has a really random and small selection of produce, and they just never seem to have the overall stock that the north store does. They are out of random things at random times, so you can almost never conveniently get all you need in one stop if you are doing all your grocery shopping there.
Otherwise, this store is awesome. They have a Starbucks, which can be nice if you want a caffeine/ sweet fix. The workers have always been so friendly in my experience, especially Miss Cheryle- she’s a star, and deserves some high praise for how sweet she is!
What is going on. Been told by multiple people that applied to work there that you can only get hired if you know someone that works there or management. Went for my weekly shopping and the only thing that was open was self checkout. Young teens walking around ignoring customers and noses up in the air like they are too good for others. Lol! Hmmm. Maybe they should hire actual workers?! Absolutely disappointing!! I get better customer service from walmart and publix. Whoever their hiring manager is should be fired!!!!
waited 15 minutes at service desk no employee in sight, due he needed to take care of drive ups/ pickups too. store entrance / shopping cart area with overflowing garbage and strong smell from the restrooms .
Sat in the dressing room waiting on my daughter and noticed how well Gabby worked. She was folding and organizing the clothes as it was put down. She had everything looking neat and was still very polite and helpful to those coming in to try on clothes. Nice to see a young person with work ethic.
Didn’t have my bank card on me, so the checkout woman held my order for me so I could go out to the vehicle and find it. She was there for me when I got back in and helped me right away. I appreciate that type of customer service. Thank you!
