A friend gave me a gift card so I came on a Sunday morning to check it out. I found a few items I wanted to buy so I thought it would be faster to do self checkout. I got all the way to the self checkout line breakout only to be told I have to go to a regular line because I don’t have a membership.

WTH is up with the line situation at this Costco?! That in itself makes me want to go to a different location. There are 3 main (super long) lines you queue up in only then to have to scramble to get into another line for a cashier.

Other than the stupid line process, the store is clean and well stocked. Prices are clearly labeled. Grocery items, health and beauty, and cleaning and pet supplies, are on the left and housewares are on the right. In the middle is snacks, furniture, clothing. In the back is paper goods, frozen food, meat, the bakery, produce, and wine.

Go early or late to avoid the crowds and long lines.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. This situation occurred in the last days of the mothers. I always heard about the good prices and better quality products that this supermarket offers but until then I had never been inside to see with my own eyes if it was true or not. Then came the big day, right at the entrance I was approached by a lady Ivy who forbade my entry for not being a member. I tried to explain that it was my first time and I was just visiting the place to see the feel before becoming a member. She then, still in a non-polite way, took me to a counter where I presented my document and my entrance was released. I walked around the market and decided to leave. I felt bad, not even at WalMart have I ever been treated like that.

I came to get my glasses adjusted. I’ve been happy with the service here and drive a ways to get here. I arrived at 710pm and was told they close optical at 7pm.

The only sign I can find says 8pm, but maybe that’s just the optometrist?

Online only gives the store hours. Google’s site says the store reviews the hours and it says 8pm for optical.

Not acceptable. So ready to have the correct hours publicly available.

The place where all your big bulk discounts help you enjoy a huge savings. They usually have items that you can’t find in your local store. The Kirkland brand is top quality, like your household name brands. They offer different types of memberships.

If you’ve been to one Costco, you’ve been to all of them. This store is clean, fairly easy to navigate barring any crowdedness, and easy to assess prices. The store does get pretty busy during peak times so I highly advise you go during off-peak times. You’ll especially feel this at the checkout lines which can get very backed up and frustrating. The gas discount is also a huge perk but again, the lines get to be really long when it’s busy. It can take 10-15 minutes in line before you get to fill up. Overall good experience, just try to go when it’s slow!

This location picks up the phone and then continues on with their own conversation between employees. You can say hello all you want they aren’t gonna answer. I tried several times. Will never try again and won’t be shopping at Costco it’s gone down hill.

Eugene provided exceptional customer service and not only that, but I could tell that he genuinely wanted to help me with the membership process.

He is extremely knowledge and explained everything so well, that I had no questions after.

Customer service such as the one provided by Eugene, is what makes companies stand out.

Amazing service specially from Eugene in customer service! He helped me set up my account and was extremely kind and helpful. The warehouse is clean and spacious, the parking lot and spaces are big, and the cart attendants bring in the carts in a timely manner.

This is a large Costco warehouse and has most things in stocks all the time. Staff is quite responsive and helpful. The place is packed most of the time unless you can do odd times like weekday afternoons or near closing time. Another hack I see people using is the fill gas and then wait for Costco to open 😁. I mean whatever works for you, but definitely a place worth the time.

  1. Store is ok, however, it could use a better customer service representatives at the checkout. They were not friendly nor patient. Store has a a lot of variety of products though. A full bag of bagels got bad after two days… so disappointed ☹️

  2. I’m a huge Costco fan, but this location is just too busy to be an enjoyable experience. I’ve been at least 5 times. This ranges in days of the week and hours of the day. Every time I have to fight for a parking spot, watch as demos are plucked up faster than the staff can put them out, and wait in lines that go past the candy section. Highly encourage people to drive a few minutes further to the Garner location if they can.

  3. Great place as always.
But, could you please turn down the water temperature for washing hands in the restroom? My kids were nearly scalded by it. Considering it’s summertime, I don’t think we really need such hot water for washing hands. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

  4. Love it! Super busy tonight and tried the self checkout for the first time. Easy to operate. Stopped for the premade Shepards Pie. Good value and tastes good too.

  5. Let me start off by saying I love Costco. My wife is afraid of when I go there, because I own a pickup and I can do some damage. I have been going to this location for 8-9 years, and as you might expect, the customer experience has changed.

Service – It has been and still is strong. I remember a time when I got a phone call “someone forgot to take their stamps home on Friday, and you were one of the people that paid for stamps, was it you?” Staff want to help you. The butcher helped me find something awesome to bring to a BBQ. Return policy is liberal, as expected, but now the lines are pretty long.

Products – Awesome again, and getting better. I do get sad when something I fall in love with gets rotated off stock, but I have seen most of those favorites come back again.

Gas – Good prices. Long lines. They will help you if you use a digital card.

Tires – Don’t know. They are too busy to get an appointment.

Shopping experience – This is where things have changed dramatically. I want to give them 2-3 stars because of this, but I can’t because I know the problem is the customers. Too many people, and the crowds start to get a little into the mob mentality. Not fully, but still … Parking is a madhouse, but at least the spots are big otherwise there would be fistfights (i’m teasing, I think). Samples have long lines, people snatching right out from the workers, who try to keep a positive attitude. So many people who have no regard for others “driving their carts” (makes the parking lot make sense). Long mines at checkout, but the checkout people also try to keep that positive attitude. They usually do.

    Also Hot dogs!!

Costco! Just build another location already to split the customer base.
