3 months agoKind of feeling ripped off here, frankly. $27 car wash with all the fix-ins didn’t get a thing off of my car. Had to do 90% of the work myself in the parking lot with a rag.a year agoI have been going to Zips since they opened. The wash is very nice and the prices are better than surrounding car washes. The customer service is always excellent. I have noticed since the new management (Tony) things have improved concerning product availability and customer experiance. Oscar, Andrew, Max and Tanner are very hard working young men. They are attentive, and always have a smile on their face. I often see them running to help the customers. They all deserve a raise if they haven’t already received one recently. Thank you to the employees who make Zips a great place to clean my car!a month agoAs soon as I decided to go for the vehicle wash, I purchased the Zips one-time car wash online, expecting that I would be able to use it the same day as soon as I received the code. I waited about 2 hours and still did not receive the code. I had to buy wash separately at the center. When I returned home and wrote an email requesting a refund for an online purchase, they promptly provided me the code and declined to refund it. I won’t be able to reuse that purchase because I didn’t enjoy the wash much.3 months agoCustomer for almost a year. Got there today at 7.30pm there is no clean towels and no trash bins. Lot is absolute mess, for staff here is nothing wrong-by they response. first time experience this3 weeks agoThis place went downhill *quickly* after it opened. It’s closed a lot of the time during normal operating hours, so you basically have to roll the dice and hope they’re open when you want a car wash. The towels they provide to dry your car (because their automated dryers are basically worthless) are always wet. I don’t see the point in paying $40+ per month for a membership when you aren’t even guaranteed you’ll get what you’re paying for. I canceled my membership. Buyer beware.

2 months agoI wanted to get my mother’s car detailed as a gift so I paid $209 for a full detail and it was comparable to something a 15 year old could do for $20. I dropped the car off at 12:30 and by 1:30 they called me and said it was ready for pickup. They didn’t even bother to remove dirt from buttons in the vehicle and they completely skipped the trunk. I’ve NEVER had a car detailer not clean the trunk. Although my mother was very grateful that I tried to do something nice for her, she was not impressed with the quality. Her exact words were “You got ripped off. I don’t know who you took the car to, but do not go back there”.They are NOT professionals here so I don’t understand why they’re charging $200 for below average detailing. The staff lost the key to my mother’s vehicle before realizing that they left the key INSIDE the car for hours. The only reason I couldn’t complain about the results was because I picked up the car just as they were closing. Needless to say, they will be receiving a call and I will demand reimbursement.
The photos below are AFTER the detail. I didn’t bother taking photos of everything else because I was already frustrated enough. Never coming back even if they offer me a thousand free washes.
a week agoI’ve given them so many chances and I just won’t anymore. Every time I go it takes 45-90 minutes. I’ve watched my car sit for 20 minutes before anyone will work on it. When I talk to the manager I always get the “we short staffed” yet I also watch a group of them talk for 10 minutes just messing around. Most recently I did a $70 express detail. When they were done I spent another 10 minutes asking them to do things that weren’t done that are outlined on the service description. I am always nice always tip well (over 20%) and yet they are nothing but rude with an attitude. I’m DONE going there.5 months agoThis place used to be really good… so I’m not sure what happened… I paid $34 for a signature shine car cash and not one big was wiped off the front of my car, not any vacuuming done to my interior – despite what is advertised. I have noticed it getting worse here over the last year, but it’s officially no longer somewhere I will spend my time or money.in the last weekTerrible time management. The person you pay when determining which service to get tells you one amount of time when in reality their cleaning crew is backed up and you end up waiting twice as long. They have no system in place to verify the actual wait. I ended up waiting over an hour for a simple interior vacuum. When I approached the service person inside about the issue they basically told me I could leave if I needed to and come back. Very unprofessional and overall poor experience.4 weeks agoWe cancelled our Carwash program. The car was has super weird hours that don’t match google. The system is also not smart enough to know which car wash you are signed up and even though we did the top level it would never do it unless we stopped every time to ask the attendant to change it to what we were paying for. Switched to another mason car wash with better hours that actually knows which wash we get.

Guidelines for a Secure Car Wash Experience
Car washing can be an enjoyable and rewarding experience, but it’s important to prioritize safety. Whether you’re washing your own car or operating a car wash business, following some general safety guidelines can ensure the process is hazard-free.
First and foremost, make sure to choose a safe location for washing your car. Ideally, this should be a well-lit, flat surface away from heavy traffic and obstacles. Additionally, it’s essential to never wash a car near power lines or in close proximity to water sources, such as rivers or lakes.
Furthermore, be cautious when using cleaning chemicals. Some car wash products contain chemicals that can be harmful if they come into contact with your skin or eyes. It’s vital to wear protective gloves, goggles, and clothing that covers your skin to prevent any adverse effects.
When it comes to tools and equipment, ensure they are well-maintained and in good working order. This includes water hoses, pressure washers, and brushes. Faulty equipment can lead to accidents or damage to your vehicle. Regularly inspect and replace any worn-out or damaged tools to maintain a safe car washing environment.
In addition to these general guidelines, here are some specific safety tips to follow while washing your car:
- Turn off the engine and engage the handbrake before starting the car wash process to avoid any unintentional movements.
- Be cautious around moving parts of the vehicle, such as windshield wipers and retractable antennas.
- Use a ladder or step stool if needed, but always ensure it’s stable and on a level surface.
- Avoid wearing loose clothing or accessories that can get caught in machinery or cause accidents.
- Take breaks if necessary to avoid fatigue, which can lead to a loss of focus and potential accidents.
- Avoid using excessive force or pressure when scrubbing or spraying the car to prevent scratches or damage to the vehicle’s surface.
- Dispose of cleaning chemicals and waste properly, following local regulations to protect the environment.
By following these safety guidelines, you can keep yourself and your car protected during the car washing process. Whether you’re a car enthusiast or a professional car washer, safety should always be the top priority.

Spent $29 on a Carwash yesterday. Car came out looking fine, however the vacuums cost money and they have no air guns to properly dry the car. After leaving it rained an hour later, so I called today to see if they had any rain guarantee and I was told they do not. Save your monies and go to Whitewater where the wash is just as good, cheaper, and they offer free vacuums and air guns.
Mike’s Car Wash, a place to be,
Where friendly staff greet you with glee.
Their service swift, no time to waste,
But getting in can be a chase.
Traffic jams may slow you down,
Yet, perseverance wears a crown.
For once inside, your worries cease,
As cleanliness takes perfect lease.
The suds embrace your car’s delight,
As grime and dirt bid their goodnight.
With shining grace, it gleams anew,
Mike’s Car Wash, a dream come true.
The vacuum sucks! Waste of money! And double charged my card the cleaning wipes didn’t come out of the mechanic.
I’ve been going to this location for years. It’s a nice automated car wash. They have been offering and advertising weekly monthly packages a lot recently. My car always comes out clean but dripping quite a bit, but they now offer wipes to help dry this off at the end. Decent price for the offering, but more than anything, their location is really convenient.
I am absolutely terrified of carwashes. But Mike’s has super nice employees and I just sit back, blast some music, and enjoy the light show!
