3 months agoCalled to ask about making an appointment to be told I don’t need one and to just come in. Mind you, he could’ve said “just come in sometime between 9-2:30” considering he has knowledge that this website says 5. He was told by my mom that the website says 5 to which he said he “knows” and it’s “not his website” and they’ve been closing at 2:30 for “a while now”. He allegedly has tried calling to change this websites listed hours. I have also known someone that had worked here in the past and I was aware that management was bad then. It’s sad that years later it’s still bad, they can’t even stay open more than a few hours because of their inability to keep employees. What a joke. I’d be embarrassed. Please go to any other car wash.2 months agoAll I can say is my car looks AND smells as good as it did the day I drove it off the lot when it was new after visiting the ‘PEKIN DOWNTOWN CARWASH’ just thee other day.A HUGE Thank You goes out to that crew !!!

a month agoI was traveling and only used the automatic car wash. I paid $14 for a car wash that didn’t even get the bugs off my windshield.12 months agoSimply the best in town. I’m there once a week the place is always clean and everything always works. Enough said!!a year ago$1.50 is all it took for me to realize this place was a joke. Vacuums are junk. Weak and stink like they are wet and full of garbage, making my new car smell awful. I watched a car go through the automatic wash and quickly decided I would move on to another provider. Save your money. Avoid this place.Too bad there is not a negative rating available.a year agoSwiped my card to use the car wash because there’s no change machine. It charged me the maximum 10 bucks for the 5 minutes I used it. Called the owner, he says it’s my own fault for not pressing the stop button even though I turned the machine to “off” and it turned off. Will never go backa year agoI used the automatic wash, it did a great job of removing the dirt from the truck. The rims were completely free of brake dust also. Spot free rinse and power dry made it look like new again!

First time using Beck’s car wash in Pekin today and Travis, the attendance at the front entrance was very helpful. He was polite and gave my children stickers! I paid $14 for a car wash which is definitely out of the ordinary for me but because of the winter weather and the salt on the streets I was hoping that it was going to be a good car wash and that it would get all the salt off the car. At the end of the car wash I got out to vacuum my floors and the first two hoses that I picked up unfortunately didn’t have any suction but the third one did and that worked really well. When I got home I took a picture of the car parked in my garage and I’m actually really surprised and happy with this car wash! I think I’ll be returning for future car washes here!
Ripped my valve stem off in the wash. They had the nerve to say that I brought it to the car wash with a flat tire even though I showed them I have that on my display all the time, plus this is on my dash cam, my reaction to the tire going flat. They refused to acknowledge that it happened in the wash. They left me in the lot to figure out how to get to a tire shop. Great customer service!!!😠
Finally a place with decent vacuumed and stuff to actually clean your car. Love they set out a little cart with rags and cleaner and you can clean your rugs with ease. Car wash isn’t too expensive. However the difference between packages is not noticed on my old van
I was in town and wanted to get my car washed without going out of my way. This is a nice car wash! I paid for a $7 wash and got a $2 wheel cleaner. Then I pulled over to the vacuums to wipe my windows down. It’s a bit cramped in the vacuums section. Maybe it’s best to go at a time when they aren’t super busy. I’m definitely coming back though!
With the exception of the two girls ( especially the redhead that has been there from day one ) the rest of the team here has zero work ethic, I’ve constantly have had to have them redo the front of my car, today’s excuse from Jackson the ” shift lead ” was “we only have two people working” ,great… I’m sure no one would complain if that one person walked all the way around the car to properly get the bugs off. I hate to tell ya, But you’ll never get the entire car stretching from one side of the vehicle. This place used to have a whole staff of great people. Now it’s down to two that visibly cares about actually doing a simple job. You pay $36 a month I would at least expect the service to reflect as much.
