9 months agoIt maybe cold 🥶 outside here in Columbus, GA but GooGoo Car Wash 🧼 is running like a well oiled machine. I opted for the hand-wax interior detail because it’s been forever since I had this vehicle cleaned. Well worth the $$. Customer service is top notch, friendly, quick, & efficient. I especially enjoy the hallway with windows looking into the mechanical wash & dry part which is an excellent little show for kids that are learning about simple machines and physics in science and math classes. This location in particular has full service and interior detail cleaning options all very well priced. Door-to-door is about a half hour and the waiting area is comfy, clean, & quiet for checking up on socials, emails, etc. My particular meticulous attention to occasional missed dust behind the rear view mirror etc. was put at ease upon inspection. Not a spot or smudge I could find anywhere. Need I say more?3 months agoSuper great service from the time you enter the premises until you leave! The guys/ladies up front can knock out a car on average of two minutes to keep the line moving. Shaniya takes your payment and is always friendly and helpful. The guys completing the job after wash always do a great job too.3 months agoI came in last month and the guy talked me into the unlimited car washes for a month. I was working in Columbus for a few weeks and that seemed like a good deal. Now, here it is a month later and they charged my card for another month without my authorization. The phone number online directs you to a call center who then directs you to a place to cancel your membership. I was not told that I had signed up for a recurring monthly membership. I was also informed that it takes 3 to 5 business days to see if I am approved for a refund. They should make this right immediately, but I can’t speak to anyone other than the call center. Terrible customer support and shady sales people at the line to get washed.4 months agoMy unlimited plan had tire shine and a complimentary air freshener. This was removed without notice. The employees are not required to clear your vision after they soap your windows, prior to directing you forward.4 months agoI paid for the top of the line cleaning and waxing $39.98, however; the belt malfunctioned, while I was inside of the wash and I did not get a thorough car wash without a wax job. The issue could not be rectified. I was told to return on another day for a refund.

4 months agoThis place was a very barebones facility. They didn’t have a floor mat agitator like most places, and they charged 25 dollars for a “ceramic” wash, which it didn’t. The tire shine also came out very patchy. To top it off, my car was scratch up badly3 weeks agoTLDR: – Basic Vacuum Area – No Compressed Air Hose – No mat machine – Expensive – Car wash itself was goodCame here only because i was given a free car wash coupon. I would def not spend any money here otherwise. Ive never been to a Tidal Wave car wash before so i cant say this goes for all of them but this one in particular on Miller Rd here in Columbus is very basic and not up to date. My coupon was for the $20 wash but they have since went up in price. The car wash itself i had no complaints, but the vacuuming area is why this place only gets two stars from me. Upon parking i noticed there was not a vacuum on each side of the car for easy access to vacuum your car. They didn’t have the cleaning spray solution hose with the vacuum, had to go across the parking lot to find a cart to get that and the rags. I didn’t see the little machine you put your mats through and they also didn’t have compressed air. For me that small detail is so helpful to blow out dust and debris from hard to reach areas. I don’t go to any car wash that doesn’t have compressed air. It just makes cleaning for me much easier. Overall if you just want your car washed then this is the place. Other than that go somewhere more up to date.
a month agoI’ve been a member for months.. I go a couple times a week, but it doesn’t wash my car well. The staff doesn’t care, they never say hello. They gave me a coupon for the good car wash and they didn’t clean the outside like I see them do for other cars, car was still dirty after the best wash, graph x $30. I’ve waited forever for them to clean the cars in front of me and then do a poor job on my car. Like because I’m a member, they don’t care about trying to get my business. Today I just left and it’s the last time I’m going. Why would I keep paying $20 a month for a dirty car… staff don’t care.4 weeks agoMy niece had bought me 2 25 gift cards to do the 49.99 for a month. Went there to use them they tell me you can’t use them on the 49.99 for a month. I ask why they said I have to use my bank card for that. Why I have no idea. I used one 25.00 dollars for one car wash, which is they run your car though and you do the hard work. for 25.00 dollars so I did it. I have been here about 10 times, one time it didn’t clean the hood and top well so I cleaned it myself. I go today and use the other gift card, they have put the price as 26.00 so I say fine I’ll pay the extra the manger said you can’t so I had to go down a car wash, very rude manger I must say for a new business. So I go though and pull in to clean the inside, I go around to see how it cleaned on the outside. The hood was just as dirty as if I didn’t wash it and under my lights and back of my mirrors. I go ahead and do my inside got though with the hard work and saw a young little guy that worked there and showed him it wasn’t clean. He told me he would tell the manger…He comes back and says the manger said to tell me you don’t get 2 for one and told him to help me now clean the outside. I said he told you I don’t get 2 for one and said that I needed to clean it and the young guy would help me? He said yes ma’am. I could not believe this but wasn’t surprised for this manger! So after paying for this car washed and cleaning the inside I actually had to get the spray bottle and we had to clean the outside. I’ve been there many times but this will be my last. This manger wasn’t talking to a young little girl and he didn’t even bother to come look at it just told him that he could help me clean the whole hood. Very poor customer service for a newer business, having a poor manger can hurt a business! I want return and will now go to the wash on warm springs rd. Same as this one just a different company that the customer service has never been so rude!!a month agoExpensive car wash that doesn’t wash your vehicle properly. I love automated washes, especially since it’s been hotter than fish grease outside. The staff are friendly here and everything seems fine except the wash leaves parts of my truck unwashed.

Love going here. The staff is friendly and courteous and always addresses my needs for my vehicle. It’s also quick and convenient and the free vacuum is a plus sucks up better than the ones you pay for!!!!! Management stays on top of things. Thanks for all you guys do!!!!
My last few visits haven’t been great. The guys that are supposed to brush your windshield, backs of the side mirrors, front bumper and grill to remove bugs etc, are barely even getting my windshield. They never touch my front bumper especially, which is normally covered in bug guts. Also, I drive an SUV so they’ve always scrubbed the back of the vehicle since the rollers in the car wash don’t touch it. They should be more gentle with that brush as I have scratches just from them being careless. Lastly, and I know it doesn’t help that I have a black vehicle, but every time I come out of the wash I have a horrible film dried over my whole truck. If I don’t have a damp cloth to wipe over the entire exterior, I leave with it looking worse than when I came. I’ve debated for weeks on leaving a review or contacting someone regarding these issues. I normally don’t do this since I own a business as well but I’ve been paying the monthly fee for a while now and haven’t been getting the service that goo goo used to give. I understand completely how hard it is to find help these days let alone good help. We have quite a few new car washes opening around town but try to stay loyal since goo goo has been around as long as I’ve been driving almost. I’m only leaving this review because I got a text from y’all to leave one. And I only hope this may help y’all improve because like you, I love a clean vehicle!!
The little sleeve that used to be put on the back of the cars wiper is sorely missed. I have to get out after each wash and put the flipped wiper back down due to the air blowing it practically off. I did lose the blade during one car wash months ago, but didn’t report that.
I had a great experience at the GooGoo Car Wash today. My car had a lot of bugs from a road trip and had been baked in the bumper by the sun. The car wash associate let me go through the car wash again to get the bugs off and they came off the 2nd time. I experienced great customer service and a great quality car wash.
Prep brushers seem unconcerned with actually getting any debris, bugs etc off the front of vehicles. For us members that PAY every month it’s a little disheartening. Thy usually just kinda throw the soapy brush at the grill etc and lazily walk back in the office. I’m considering changing back to tidal wave.
