4 weeks agoLabor Day Weekend parties killed me. I was lowkey hungover but was determined to wash my car since I’ve been putting it off for a couple of weeks. I forgot to take my OHCap hangover pills the night before but thank god I had a bottle laying around in my car. Took these babies and was able to revive for the day.I’ve always driven by this place. You can’t miss it at night driving down this street because of the bright neon lights from the wash tunnel. There are options for full service, where they wash and vacuum your car, and there were also options for outside wash + vacuum yourself. They had many vacuum stations, but being kind of hungover I went for the full service lol.
I just got the basic car wash + spray wax + tire shine + vacuum package + air freshener combo. It went through the wash tunnel and it took them about 15 mins to dry and vacuum my car. I’m not a stickler for “spotless” as long as they do a pretty good job and it’s fast. If I were, the review would probably drop down to a 3 star. All in all, I spent about 20-25 minutes here. It was about $30 for the wash adding in a tip for the dryer/vacuumer guy.
The hangover pills in my car help me get through the day by being productive and just getting things done.
a week agoI got the PLATINUM ULTIMATE DETAIL done to my truck. I was told it would take 4 hours but really only took about three hours. I have a black truck so you can see anything and everything on the paint. They took out all the minor defects in the paint and made my truck look brand new again. The inside also looks phenomenal and very clean. I’m usually skeptical of going to big car washes cause the amount of cars that come and go and was worried about the attention to detail. They didn’t miss anything. I would highly recommend there professional detailing service.4 months agoAwesome car wash! I’ve been coming here now for about a year. Never a problem. They always do a good job. Their full service washes will add a true lustre to your vehicle. Their staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable, always willing to advise on the best way to keep your vehicle looking it’s best. What’s more, they go above and beyond for their customers. After 12 years, one of the manufacturer emblems fell off my car. Even though this happened outside of their car wash, they reinstalled it, free of charge. This is old-school service, that you just don’t find anymore. I highly recommend Lakewood Car Wash for all your car washing and detailing needs.a week agoTerrible Customer service, rude, disrespectful. Upon entrance an older, heavy set, lady working the front entrance constantly gave me hard time. She is very rude, disrespectful, and lacking customer service skills. She speaks with a very rude and demanding tone. Demanding I do as she says with the placement of my Diamond Sevice Sticker or else she has the managers permission to cancel my monthly membership. Which she canceled immediately with an attitude. However, Ruben is a amazing young man but this lady is not worth my penny. Furthermore, the towel dryer feature does not work on large SUV’s and the tire shine feature does not work either, leaving smeared greasy black stains all over my rims, which is very hard to remove after the fact and management do not care at all. They believe removing these features while allowing you to drive through the wash corrects the problem. When I brought these unfunctioning features to their attention, the managers also rudely mentioned that I will be responsible if anything happens to their machines and they are not responsible for my vehicle if the machine ruins my large SUV. Therefore, I respectfully asked for a refund and they will never have to see me, my family, or friends again. All because a lady that works for them complained about the Diamond Membership sticker placement. I told her that you are willing to loose your company $420 a year over a sticker placement and your pride. She angrily rolled her eyes at me and cancelled my Membership instantly! My Real Estate partner who just so happened to be riding through the wash with me said “man, what is her problem as soon as you pulled up she had and attitude with you.” Therefore, 0 Star Rating in my book! I will never ever return here. I will take all four of my SUV’s elsewhere for cleaning services.2 months agoThis is my second time here. Not really impressed and how would they get a 4.0 on rating. First time I notice a slightly dent on my trunk. I thought ok it happens. Gave it a second chance. Not only that right side passenger side mirror still have spider web. Came home had to wipe it down myself and noticed a paint chipped. On top of that how to you get your car out less then 30 min. Highly not recommended unless you want your car ruin

Same with this one okay wash sometimes leaves some spots behind but hey for 7 bucks it’s not a bad deal also it will leave swirls on your paint no matter what even if the workers or owners said it won’t. I also like the idea of the monthly plan just hate that it’s for one car only2 months agoI remember when they were breaking ground for Star Express Car Wash at this location. I didn’t know what it was going to be. However, when I saw this beautiful car wash, I switched from another one on the southeast corner of Lakewood Blvd. and Somerset Ave. in Bellflower. It was more like I was lured away.Star Express Car Wash not only had bells and whistles but was a dollar cheaper (as I recall) and also gave away free cleaning towelettes for your car, and the personnel was very professional.
Now, it’s a different story.
They raised their price. And not only do you have to ask for the towelettes, but some workers are also disturbingly unpleasant and unprofessional when interacting with them (Juan, if that is his real name, was particularly rude and distrustful. He also said he was the only Juan employed there).
They remind me of the Venus flytrap (Dionaea muscipula). The plant lures in its prey, and then it’s lights out. Needless to say, I will discontinue my monthly subscription and return to my old car wash, which has been remolded.

Staff are a whole bunch of cool young men attentive to your needs and very respectful.

got the $5 Car wash. Was 80% satisfied with the wash🚗. I do have a full size SUV. The air blower 🌬miss a lot of spots on my car. Will maintain and clean. Parking spot nice and big. Vacuum also comes with air blower hose. Felt a bit smaller than the rest of the car wash places I’ve been. But you cannot really complain for $5 to wash your car
At first, I thought it was another self-service car wash but I was mistaken. The prices are good and the wash was nice compared to other places I’ve tried. The vaccumes were so useful, I got so much off my car’s floor in an instant.
