3 months agoThey ignore everyone in the front that is not transacting money. During peak business with hundreds of dollars coming in..they took time to initiate a full fledge investigation into where or not I paid $1.10 for the WATER I purchased. Which simply translated into producing even worse service to the several other customers pleading for answers on were their order is. Oh, and as the picture depicts..they are extremely skippy with mustard. No, this is not a “light” modification.in the last weekService was quick, but tables weren’t cleaned often. Food didn’t take very long to come out and that would explain why it wasn’t hot and barely warm. But hey its McDonald’s.a month agoThis was unlike any McDonald’s I have been to before. It was clearly intended to service a upscale client. For someone just visiting, it will be certainly a McDonald’s they remember.a year agoWhile on vacation in the wintertime, my son and I walked to the Childrens Museum on a Sunday afternoon. Since we got hungry, I decided to stop by here for quick, cheap lunch. I placed an order via McDonalds app. I got my kid a 6 piece nugget happy meal with fries, apple slices, and apple juice. I redeemed an offer for free large fries with purchase. I got a McDouble (only ketchup) and a large sweet tea. The total was $7 and some change. The order was placed at 1:33pm and we received food at 1:38pm. I asked for BBQ sauce and they only gave me one… I didn’t want to seem greedy, so I didn’t ask for another but the lady saw my large fries and knew 1 wasn’t going to be enough lol.
They forgot my kid’s apple juice. I got it and 2 more bbq sauces for me. The cashier, whose name tag read Jefferson, was very nice and helpful! I decided to sit in and eat. The food was fresh and no complaints.
4 years agoOn the corner of NY Avenue NW and 13th St. NW is this very small location. Maybe when constructed, square footage was at a premium and this was the only option. This McDonald’s is in a prime location surrounded by businesses, museums and the perfect spot to service the masses. It’s a missed opportunity because, seating is limited, no options for parking and lines form quickly and flow back into the seating area. Customers wait for their orders or can be seen standing and eating because of limited seating.
There is a second level which was closed off and not utilized. The staff was busy so I cleaned off my own table. Someone came around later, but this was not a priority.
Early in the morning, there is a rush of construction workers, business workers and a few people in need for shelter or a warm drink. I can only imagine a tourist bus or school bus arriving for a quick meal.
The staff was friendly and made an effort to service everyone as quickly as possible. The murals on the walls are a pleasant and a inviting touch. We can’t have everything, but at least this McDonald’s is there making a difference at an affordable price.

The staff are kind and polite. The locals and the students are wonderful. Looking out for each other as a community should. This is a great place! The black community will make U feel at home. D.C. N.W. |X3 months agoExcellent spot and service is great and available 24/7. The problem is that there’s always bunch of people hanging out inside the franchise without buying anything and they keep harassing customers who exactly want to buy something. It also take a little longer for food to come but it’s excellent spot overall. I just don’t like the atmosphere there because of many non-customers inside of the restaurant.
a month agoThe drive-through SUCKS because of the structure, but with that out the way…the people are LOVELY 😍 so friendly. The food is McDonald’s, and I refuse to give it more than an ok! Refuse! I’m lactose intolerant, and before I was vegan, this was the only ice cream I could eat without getting sick… coincidence…I think NOT. However, the service is fast and friendly. You should go!2 months agoThe drive thru ladies were desrespectful toward us, rude, didnt even understand our orders, Simply Three happy meals with nuggets. She only said go somewhere else i dont understand, i even told them in spanish dont even understand and she a hispanic rude.. not going there no more !

This place is always packed with local workers, tourists, and big tourists groups. Expect to order at one of the electronic kiosks and then wait in a disorganized mass of people while the staff yells out orders and people push their way to the front to get their food. Also one of the most expensive McDonalds restaurants that I have been to. I just bought a medium filet-o-fish meal and a blueberry & cream pie and the total was $13.40. The one positive is that they can churn through a large order volume very quickly.
Busy but our food came out quick when we did pickup on the app. And piping hot too which is unheard of for McDonalds
It’s McDonalds what do you want? Staff is always able to get the food out and never messes up my order. Coffee is fresh and tea has always been refreshed and not skunky when I’ve ordered it. I think it’s a solid 4/5 stars.
It’s a typical McDonald’s except that I find this one runs better than most because it seems to be adequately staffed. Few other McDonald’s I’ve seen lately can say that. The service here was relatively fast, and the restaurant is clean.
Now that I am venturing back to the office downtown, the restaurants near my office building really took a hit during C-19, so there’s not a lot of places to eat during lunch. I ended up going to McDonald’s, which I never frequent. I ended up getting an order of fries. I ordered & paid through my app. The app part was good, but the pickup was kinda chaotic. Will I visit again, probably because there’s pretty much nothing else there. I will be bringing my food because of the lack of restaurants.
