3 weeks agoI have had multiple great experiences at this Target (South Bay, Boston). The App is efficient; the pickup (or return) experience is made so easy by the helpful, efficient Target crew members who work so well together. It is about time that I write this review! I have had several great experiences, mostly since COVID. Ordering through the App and picking up is safer and so efficient. I am very grateful.2 months agoThe lady at the self checkout (today 7/9) refused to sell me the item that they put on the shelves for clearance. She said they are not on the system and should be removed. She took the items back. She also didnot believe the items at that low price and thinking im telling lie. I asked her to go with me to the shelves but she refused to go and talked on the radio to ask someone to remove the items. I went to take the picture and showed her on my way out to prove im was not telling lie(attached picture). She then spoke less and walk away. Such a bad experience shopping at this store.2 months agoBig store and complete find lot of stuff : medicine, toys, clothes, snack and drink. sadly the restroom dirty.a year agoBig store, Big selection….sadly outside is A LOT of junkies crawling around South Hampton street. The store itself is amazing but you do have to be careful in the Target restroom (needle disposal box), outside to the right of the store (trash and the junkies laying around) and even the parking lot since the junkies can look for cars looking to break into them. TRUST ME, IT HAPPENS! But Target has a great selection of just anything you are looking for. You’ll notice they have the medicines LOCKED UP simply because the junkies come in looking to steal.a year agoI am surprised by all the recent bad reviews. I don’t live in Boston, but I come here at least 6 times a year and I truly enjoy coming to this store! Good Lightning, ample aisles and well stocked. I must admit that during COVID time there were empty shelves, however, as of March 2022, that is not the case as you may see in my pictures. Each time I come here there are merchandising staff organizing and replenishing the shelves. You can find clothes for all sizes (petite and plus included) with a very good selection and good prices.
My most favourite is the Home department. Lots of options, even though not too many decorative pillows.
There is a CVS and a Starbucks in- store so, very convenient for a multi-shopping experience.

6 months agoFeb2023: 5⭐: I would recommend this small store location. This location appears to be a small satellite type location that is situated in the middle of a bustling small store business area. There is parking adjacent to the business that is specifically for Target and Dunkin Donut customers. There is handicap parking in front of the doors and plenty of general parking spaces as well. The parking lot appears to be very busy and one would have to use caution moving into and out of the lot. This lot doesn’t appear to be suitable for large vehicles. I watched one individual truck pull in and clog up the entire entry exit area for other vehicles trying to turn around looking for parking. The store front had an automatic door that opened when I approached and was functional. This store appears to be equipped with a small variety of everything a major store would have in stock. I would not expect this store to have everything a full store would have, but I would expect this store to have the basic necessities for residents in the surrounding area. You can see as I walk through the store snapping pictures that this store was consistently being replenished with the amount of products that were being put on shelves even as customers were in there trying to shop. This type of activity might irritate customers or shoppers, but it’s this type of activity that keeps the shelves full and the store functional has a small mini-mart that should be functional and stocked. I did not witness any fighting or negative activity from the store associates when I observed the interaction between the work group. There were store associates stock in the shelves as well as those moving products from the back to the front. This operation when I visit it appears to be functional, well supervised and well managed. I did not take note of the small things that may or may not be on the shelves, what I did take note of is that compared to area food markets and many markets. This location will definitely be competitive with those types of shops for customers. I did like the fact that when I went to check the lettuce area that I found that all of it was not brown. It was green and appealing for me to purchase. No, I’m not going to do an update to let you know how it tastes. I can tell you now that I think it’s going to be fine.2 months agoThis is my local Target and it’s almost impressive how often they never have the exact thing you need that you’d get at any other Target. Sure it’s a small location, but it’s up to the managers to order the right inventory bc I never have a problem at any other Target regardless of size.4 months agoThis place needs to close soon or change management. Milk, eggs, yogurt and many expired items they’re selling is just ridiculous. The backroom sneak peak looks like this. Imagine why everything else is so bad. This place needs a change. Managers have an attitude as if the customers are doing something wrong to them. The black tall security follows you and harrassed you as if your sleeping with he’s mate instead of asking you if you need something, not like there’s much on the shelves.8 months agoAwesome store and awesome employees. The store is always clean, organized and stocked. For being a small store they do a great job diversifying the types of products that are available and are constantly updating their inventory. The workers are always smiling and willing to help. They don’t just offer basic help either I have seen and experienced personally on multiple occasions employees really take the initiative to go above and beyond to provide solutions for customers. Love it there! Keep up the good work.4 months agoNot so busy storm is medium size but they offer a grocery section which is also a small pharmacy

Definitely a cool factor for target. I’m not a target fan but this one is definitely awesome. They have all the boston gear as well for reasonable prices. Definitely worth going to for cool factor.
This target is nice. It has everything you’ll ever need (except maybe some groceries) and is very clean as well. Prices aren’t horrible but of course the quality of everything is better in a more specialized store. The location is good too
The Target 🎯 by Fenway Boston
Is always neat and orderly. The team works are always friendly and polite and willing to help. Also my 9 yr old daughter likes the new Target dog display with the boxes telling a story
Stopped in to get some things for a college move in. The checkout woman at register #6 at 1:12pm Friday 9/1/23 was being VERY brusque. I offered to help her bag our items only to have her snap at me that she’d do it. Then when we got to our destination we found that two of the items that were charged to our receipt were not in our bags. Tried calling customer service desk 10 times over the next hour only to be disconnected repeatedly. I usually enjoy shopping at Target but recommend all shoppers pass on this location unless you’re totally desperate. Not to mention the store was a zoo and a real mess with empty shelves and random items all around. The management team needs to be better prepared for back to school and tell grit team members customer service IS important.
This Target is absolutely one of the worst I’ve visited nationwide. Dirty, horrendous customer service, incompetent staff, and ALWAYS out of everything. The staff is a joke, especially at the ‘customer service’ desk. SO rude, lazy, and really wondering if they have been trained at all? Is there a manager at this store? If so, pls find a better manager because the Boylston Target is so poorly run. Went to return 2 BRAND NEW moisturizers, the moron who scanned my barcode said it was expired, then he said it was past the date to return. I literally bought it this week and my Target barcode was fine. Products were new and unopened. But he was so bad at his job, and lazy, that he couldn’t do a simple return. This is just the most recent experience of incompetence at this store. Never ever seen a Target not have a pot, pan, or spoon just because school started. There are colleges all over the nation, and the local Target stores all stay stocked. Headquarters really needs to look into how this location is being run. Will be filing a complaint with them.
