We stayed at the Carte thinking we’d receive high quality service for the price. Unfortunate we were let down. The front desk individual put us in a king room instead of the double Queen room we booked.
When I called to tell them we needed to switch rooms he was condescending, rude, and dismissive about us being late to meet our friends who drove into downtown to meet us for dinner because we had to move all of our luggage. I had to ask repeatedly for a waiver of the daily fee because of our inconvenience. They finally gave us a $30 fee waiver.
We ordered room service and the $20+ dollar pancakes were burned. The latte was watery. They also didn’t give us enough towels for each person in our room. The rooms were clean but the poor service was really disappointing for my family and put a damper on our family vacation, especially for the price.
I had an outstanding experience at Carte Hotel, and I must recommend their staff, especially Jordan Hovis, for their exceptional service. Jordan was incredibly professional and friendly throughout my stay. Not only did he address a minor complaint I had promptly, but he also went above and beyond.The attention to detail and customer care at Carte Hotel truly impressed me. Jordan’s dedication to ensuring a delightful experience for guests like myself is absolutely incredible. The accommodations were comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch.
I highly recommend Carte Hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and welcoming stay in the area. Thanks again to Jordan and the entire team for making my visit memorable. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to the city!
Excellent Hotel in Little Italy. We stayed one night and were very happy with out time here. We visited the pool and had some drinks, valet was quick and friendly. Check-in was super fast. It is very walkable and there is a lot to do here. Visited 8/2023.
Update: Wow the view and pool sunshine was stripped away. How awful of city planning. You can’t stay here for the pool, view, or have natural lighting. Warning signs at pool as it’s a safety hazard now. Wood chippings everywhere from the construction.

Beautiful hip boutique hotel. Comfortable rooms, great service, excellent location. Just know they are building another high rise adjacent to this hotel. Pool views on website don’t match. Looks like room views will disappear soon too. What a bummer.
I would return but I did have a couple of service problems. Warped ironing board that I requested 2x that they replace it. Hasn’t happened. Obvious stains in the carpet. Slow but friendly service at the rooftop bar and restaurant (walked up for a cocktail two different days). Love the location. I do think staff is trained to be friendly and welcoming. Not enough to stop me from a future visit, just opportunities to improve and take room cleaning a little deeper every few guests.
