Self-Service Car Wash Prices in the US

Here is a price table of self-car washes in the US:

Type of Self-Car Wash Price Description
Basic Self-Car Wash $5 – $10 Includes washing, waxing, and vacuuming.
Comprehensive Self-Car Wash $10 – $15 Includes washing, waxing, vacuuming, and detailing the interior and exterior of your car.
Self-Service Car Wash $5 – $10 You wash your car yourself using the equipment provided by the self-car wash.

Here are some factors that can affect the cost of a self-car wash:

  • The size of your car: Larger cars will typically cost more to wash than smaller cars.
  • The level of detail you want: A more comprehensive wash will typically cost more than a basic wash.
  • The location of the self-car wash: Self-car washes in urban areas will typically cost more than self-car washes in rural areas.
  • The time of day you get your car washed: Self-car washes are typically busiest during peak hours, such as weekends and evenings.

If you are looking for a more affordable option, you can consider doing a self-service car wash. Self-service car washes typically cost around $5 – $10, and you can wash your car as often as you like. However, self-service car washes can be time-consuming and messy.

Frequently busy, but nice, very few machines out of order. Clean inside, car was in back to clean car while waiting for clothes to dry.

I have not been to a laundry mat in 25 years, since I graduated from college. This spot worked really well for me.

A great idea ruined by greed. This place is wayyy too pricey for the run down condition it is in. The owner should be ashamed.

Clean, fairly priced, had a t.v. to watch while washing clothes. The car wash in the rear is a nice touch because you can get two things done at once. Nice large bays with automatic doors. The only complaint I have is the machines are old but they all work just fine, the washers, dryers, and vacuum all worked wonderfully.

It’s amazing for the people who still like to wash/ clean your vehicle yourself. It’s very relaxing and therapeutic for me. Think I spent a total of 7.50 for a car wash I did myself. Glad that’s places like this still open!

The price is right and everything about this place is convenient. Just wish it was open 24 hrs! It’s the perfect place to swing by to give your paint job quick relief from road salt or vacuum out the anti-ice sand before your floor mats look like beach front property! XD

Be efficient and proficient. Time is quite limited, but adequate. Not trying to soak your vehicle. Wet it, soap it, and probably need to start adding quarters. 1 min per 25 cents.

Love this carwash! They have great water pressure and the water is always hot – a necessary bonus for winter-washes. The bays are conveniently large, easy to use, very reasonable priced, and the hoses actually spray clear water on ‘rinse’ (unlike other places in town that leave a film because of constant soap in the lines.) I just wish they’d post their BUSINESS HOURS!!! 😛

1$ per run wash bays. Small but decent. The wand triggers are all very hard to squeeze so you get a workout while cleaning your car. I think it’s the best self wash place in town.

  1. The indoor touchless carwarsh offers for $5 $7 $10. I picked the $10 option. It cleans the car well for touchless service but of course not deep clean. The air blower has a timer and I saw there was enough space inside so I just moved my car backed and forth to get extra dry. Guy there was nice. A greeting a and smile goes a long way. Made sure everything with the carwash worked well (before and after). I maybe mistaken but think it’s owner. Dont hesitate to get your carwash here. It’s cheaper than big carwash chain where I first opted to go. Just new in town and I’m for supporting local businesses. Thinking of getting 2 $5 touchless for better cleaning or use their cheaper self service during the summer. Next up looking for a local mechanic.

  2. Wish they would get the air dryer fixed other a great place to wash your car so it doesn’t get scratched

  3. This is by far grand forks worst car wash. There is nothing good about it. Can barely spray your vehicle down. As you can only get about halfway around before it shuts off and wants more quarters. Not to mention the staff is rude as well.

  4. This used to be a great car wash but it seems that they changed the timer, so now you run out of time about a minute faster than it was last year. Also the credit card reader only works sometimes.

  5. My truck was DIRTY. I do alot of gravel road driving and it needed a bath. Got the $7 wash and it did pretty good but I still had ALOT of bug guts on the passenger side of my windshield.
