4 months agoThe staff was very friendly & helpful. State of the art facilities, futuristic wash tunnel, no-pay vacuums equipped with air hoses to clean hard to reach areas… We will be back every Sunday from here on out. We can’t wait for the new location in Grace Park to open also!!5 months agoUsed this car wash today and paid for their $27 wash. The entire tailgate of my truck is still dirty, along with many, many places all over my truck. Dont recommend using this place.a year agoMy initial experience at the car wash Lodge was mediocre at best. when I brought Mason out to show him the underwhelming work that was done on my vehicle after paying for the best packages both interior and exterior he spent about 25 minutes personally making sure I was happy. Mason Saved the Day! I hope you get him as a technician and not the people that worked on my car initially.a month agoit was so amazing, i got a free car wash from fb and i loved going here. the colors of the soap and wax were so pretty and they beam a cute little robot onto your windshield. it was fun and the car came out so shiny.3 months agoEdge Car Wash totally upgraded the equipment in the car wash tunnel and it’s awesome! Does a great job thoroughly cleaning my car. If you purchase the package that includes tires, your tires will be super shiny. It is a bummer though that they did away with full service car detailing, which the previous owners provided.

a year agoSo I am.mit a fan if most of the car washes since they don’t really do well unless you have a halfway Clean car already. I am impressed so far. This place got my car clean as well.as.my wife’s CRV. I am please.with the options. They have a nice bathroom, snack machines, coffee machine etc. I hope they keepmit going. Inhave not purchased gas yet but you don’t a discount.3 weeks agoVery expensive to wash car. Time given not sufficient to wash the car. I had to add time 4 times. Transition time to change from soap to rinse took way to long. Soap never seemed to stop. Vacuum cost $4 just to properly clean a mustang. I will not go back.a month agoUsually get the Deluxe clean which is $14 and it does the job. Free vacuums are good quality and actually work. Vending machines for other necessities. Memberships if you go often enough.5 months agoBEWARE!!! You cannot just go in for a car wash. They will trick you into a membership. I said I wanted the cheapest wash just to get the pollen off my car. I was told that for the $8 I would have unlimited washes for the month, but the employee would not raise the bar for me to drive thru until I filled out a form with my name, address, phone etc. Surprise, surprise I see a $20 charge on my bank statement from them this morning. I will NEVER go back there to be swindled.12 months agoExcellent price and excellent carwash!! After the wash the staff came over to ask if I was satisfied with the wash as I was vacuuming my car. That has nevee happened at any other carwash business I’ve patronized Five Star Service

The Ultimate Guide to Car Wash Clearances Across the US
The clearance of most car washes is typically around 7 feet. This clearance is designed to accommodate the majority of standard-sized vehicles, including sedans, hatchbacks, and small SUVs. However, it’s important to note that some larger vehicles such as trucks, vans, and SUVs with roof racks or oversized tires may not fit within the standard car wash clearance.
Here are some key points to consider about car wash clearance:
- Standard clearance: Most car washes have a clearance of around 7 feet, which is sufficient for normal-sized vehicles.
- Limited height: The clearance height is limited by the design of the car wash structure and equipment, as well as any overhead obstructions.
- Excluded vehicles: Larger vehicles, such as trucks, vans, and SUVs with modifications like roof racks or oversized tires, may exceed the standard clearance and cannot be accommodated.
- Specialized car washes: Some car wash facilities offer options for taller vehicles, such as truck washes or self-serve bays with higher clearances.
- Alternative cleaning methods: If your vehicle exceeds the standard car wash clearance, you may need to consider alternative cleaning methods, such as hand-washing or using a pressure washer.
It’s always best to check with the specific car wash facility you plan to use to ensure that your vehicle will fit within their clearance specifications. This will help prevent any potential damage to your vehicle or the car wash equipment during the cleaning process.
The Top 3 Touchless Car Washes in Clayton NC
How much does it cost to wash your car in the USA?
Here are some factors that can affect the cost of car washes in the USA:
- Type of car wash: The type of car wash you choose will have a big impact on the cost. Automatic car washes are typically less expensive than touchless car washes, and full-service car washes are the most expensive.
- Location: The location of the car wash can also affect the cost. Car washes in urban areas are typically more expensive than car washes in rural areas.
- Size of the car: The size of your car will also affect the cost of the car wash. Larger cars will typically cost more to wash than smaller cars.
- Additional services: You may also choose to add additional services to your car wash, such as undercarriage cleaning, tire shine, or interior vacuuming. These additional services will typically cost extra.
Here is a table of some average car wash prices in the USA:
Type of car wash | Average price |
---|---|
Basic automatic car wash | $10 – $20 |
Touchless car wash | $15 – $30 |
Full-service car wash | $20 – $50 |
It is important to note that these are just average prices, and the actual cost of a car wash may vary depending on the factors listed above.
Here are some tips for saving money on car washes:
- Wash your car yourself: This is the most cost-effective way to clean your car.
- Look for coupons or discounts: Many car washes offer coupons or discounts, so be sure to check before you go.
- Wash your car during off-peak hours: Car washes are typically more expensive during peak hours, so try to wash your car during off-peak hours to save money.
- Consider a membership: Some car washes offer memberships that can save you money on washes over time.

I go here for the convenience. Makes it easy with a rental fleet to clean them with the currently priced $25 unlimited base monthly package.
This place is hit or miss though. Seems like there’s always something wrong here. Whether the gate not reading the membership tag or inside the wash. The right side spinning mechanism hasnt worked for months. They shut down vacs early and close depending whos working. Or open late because staff hasnt shown up on time.
When you do get in place for the wash they are supposed to go around the car and pre rinse it. The select few actually do and majority of times never go to the passenger side! Vacuum station is a game to find the ones without a clog and they dont bring out the wipe down supplies quite often or its empty.
For the car wash its 10 dollars a month.
The car wash was ok.
The 2 of the vacuums was not usable because the vacuums was stopped up with food, paper and other trash. I had to move my car 2 times to get a good vacuum.
I think the worker should make sure the all the vacuums work before customer start arriving to to get a 10 car wash.
Other than the unworkable vacuums, I think everything went good.
I have used the car a couple of times and it does a really good job. Glad that I bought the monthly choice. You never know when you need to get it washed and I can go there however many times as I need each month.
Todd and Kelvin showed superior customer service skills and addressed all our concerns with ease!!! Something that I have truly missed with many businesses! Highly encourage anyone to stop by and see them soon! Thank you Zips!!! We will definitely be back!
My husband and I have had a membership nearly since this business opened. We never had any problems, until I purchased a car that had automatic wipers, which I found difficult to turn off the automatic feature, making the automatic car wash a bad choice until I could figure out this feature on my car. So I decided I wanted to cancel my membership, because we were rarely visiting the car wash now. I made numerous occasions to call the customer service number to cancel, but never found anyone answering the phone (the phone number appears on my credit card statement each month). Next I went to the car wash and spoke with the manager on duty, but was told that he could do nothing because “this place is owned by a corporation”, so he had no control over any of these issues. He took my information, and said he would follow up with the corporate office regarding my membership, which at that point I was seeking to cancel. Never had a call back. Fortunately, I had a change in my credit card number, which resulted in them not being able to charge to my credit card next month. But unfortunately, the story did not end there because somehow they were able to make a charge to my bank account on apparently a duplicate membership. After further research, I found that there was a duplication of membership. So they had been charging a fee both to my bank account and to my credit card each lot for a very long time. So I was unable to use this membership to get my CRV washed but I found that the membership on my van was still active. That membership had initially been a multi car membership, which I am now told no longer exists. When we purchased the multi-vehicle membership, the other individual membership was supposed to have been terminated, but apparently it was not. I’ve never seen a business managed so poorly, with so little competent staff who could handle these things, and so irresponsible management of your credit card and bank information. So I made another visit to the site on 9/17, and was met with the information that no one could help me because there was nobody on site that spoke English that day. So I am still trying to get my credit card information deleted from the system to end these $35.00 a month charges that are directly deducted from my bank account. From the standpoint purely over how did they do washing the car? I think they’re fine. The car wash services are great but these issues, with managing banking and credit card information, verges on fraud.
