5 months agoMy wife and I are members and go to this wash often and we are satisfied customers. Yes, there have been days when the wash wasn’t open or closed earlier than advertised, but I think that was due to the poor management that has since been replaced. There was a transition from Rocket Wash to Zips that caused some issues with staffing/management but apparently those issues have been resolved. Great wash, powerful vacs and very helpful staff!3 months agoWas at the Zips Goldsboro location today and was very disappointed. Two of the vacuum hoses were broke and when I tried to get a spray bottle they only had one and it was being used by someone else. Then when I picked up the rags they all smelled moldy. I talked to the two gentleman that were working at the time and they said that all bottles had been taken home by customers and there washing machine was broken and that the owners were aware but hadn’t done anything about it. I’ve come to this location many times and definitely this is my worse experience. I had considered getting a monthly membership but after I’ve seen how much this place has gone downhill I’ll probably never go backa year agoGreat place for a car wash with free vacs and they also have a vending machine. Though they do close an hour early sometimes which is a bit frustratingEdit: been there numerous times within the last week and every time it’s been closed, I have a $40 membership with this place. How is it fair to charge people for a service they can’t even use?

7 months agoHad the best wash from this wash in a long time last week, but I would like to point out I feel the prices are high for what they provide. Two new express washes have opened and the prices are much better. To charge prices like this, the wash should be updated and I get that this is a Full Service Site but the place is really run down looking. You would think who owns this site would see this problem and spend some money to update. Updating the site would only improve things for the staff and the customer. This wash has been in Goldsboro for decades and at one point in time was the best run wash in the County. You can only get out of a business what you’re willing to put into it.3 months agoBarb did a fantastic job on my car…and on her own. They are terribly understaffed. It took about 90 minutes to be done, because Barb had to stop and ring up customers. She was pleasant and courteous, but no one should have to work that hard. Why bother to pay for someone to clean the car if I have to it myself in the end. If you go there make sure to go over your car inside and out before leaving or tipping.

Let me start by saying the young lady that helped was very nice & understanding. Took my car through the car wash paying $24 thinking I was paying for it to get clean was wrong. Got out to vacuum the car & had to move two times to get a vacuum that worked. The car hood, doors & other places were still dirty like I never took it thru the wash. Vacuumed it out & went & asked the young lady about a refund or show her the dirty car still. She said we would have to talk the guy (manager). She said he would probably tell us it was in the paint but she said between us it isn’t. Sure enough he said no refund & the best he could do is run it thru again. That was a joke it was still as dirty as it was before. And you trying to sell me a membership. Ain’t going to happen at this car wash. Took the rag & spray & just hand wiped the dirt off the hood.
Monthly membership here. Location has everything I need to get my car cleaned and detailed how I like it. Doesn’t always wash how I would like. If I do bring it up to them, they don’t hesitate to run it again for me. The second time is always a charm. Thanks to the employee Hunter for helping me out on locating items and some recommendations. Membership here for vida!!
