New to the New England area and so far this is my favorite Market Basket conveniently 8 minutes away from my house. Unfortunately yesterday I had a little of a bad experience after my cherry tomatoes were scanned and the package accidentally opened and were all over the bagging area. I ended up running to the back to the store to grab a new package which I didn’t mind. Once I came back my groceries were packed and ready for payment. I paid and everything was great. It turns out that after I came back home I found out that 1 of my products was missing. I was pretty bumped since I was charged for it but sadly it was nowhere to be found. It made me feel like running at the back of the store to go grab that missing product shouldn’t have been something I should have taken care of just to make sure that I came home with everything I purchased. I’d advise management to direct all employees to handle this sorta situations more professionally and next time have the employees help me take care of something that I was not responsible for in the first place.

My favorite supermarket. Delicious quick and ready food too. The pizza is great. The pastry is great, chicken and sashimi and sushi! Let’s not forget the sandwich and subs. Always a good selection of groceries, fresh fruit and vegetables.

Overall great store, I come in mainly for the grill and pizza section but it’s a 50/50 shot whether I’ll be acknowledged and served or completely ignored for 12+ minutes. Currently I’m writing this while waiting for a sub, 3 people behind the counter, me and one other customer standing in line, 0 acknowledgement. Other times it’s great and as I would expect but the other 50% of the time it’s mind blowing. Typically after 5pm the service is like this. Having now finished this review and having the staff still avoid eye contact I’m leaving. Wish they could learn a thing or two from The Nashua store, their employees are by far the best I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with.

I’ve been to quite a few Market Basket stores but this one is a stand out store! Their selection was outstanding and shelves were packed. Service tremendous too. Their meet department so close to Christmas looked incredible. And their baked goods isle spot on. This store is a good hour from where I live but I’ll definitely be returning.

I’ve been visiting this store since years and never had such a bad experience until today, at the checkout lane 13 named Carol was cashier and processing our grocery purchase where my 2 year old niece was in cart and just babbling, Carol may had bad day but it was not just right to tell “It was just annoying and I am serious about it” to my 2 year old niece. I made complaint to customer service manager, hope she learns how to be better at customers especially who are with children and special needs.

Best prices around. Hands down. The employees are treated kindly and profit sharing is offered. This local business has grown in the past few years and maintains it’s small business roots. Butchers are on hand for special orders as well as a bakery. Rotisserie chicken is great and at a good price. There’s always someone to help you with assistance including getting stuff packed in the car. Excellent all around.

As always, great prices, great employees, never disappointed buying anything there. Their bakery and sub shop are terrific as well, BUT could you please use non stick spray with your muffins? I’m scraping the rest of my corn muffin off the sides of the tin with a spoon….still delicious though Update 4/723. Your muffins no longer stick to the tin!! You listen and respond! I even tested the bran muffins…tough challenge, they came out perfect! Thanks

It’s great didn’t know you could use MA EBT in neighboring states like NH!! It worked out perfectly for the storm because I will be up here for quite awhile!! No soup and a few other things that are gone/empty so get out there and shop people lol!!!

As far as I’m concerned, this is the cheapest place to shop for all that you need. You can also purchase many brands of beer, wine ?, and other types of alcohol, however, I saw absolutely no hard liquor.

Been going here my whole existence … I could shop blind folded! Love that about this place! Everything has its place. No need to relocate items. Their system is greaf! It’s always worked for them… and us!!

  1. I like their prices, but I have an issue every time with checking out. I think it’s more to do with the generation working there and less of the store as a whole, however, staring at me instead of pressing the button to further a transaction, then giving a severe attitude, or the famous throwing heavy items on the bread???? Just not necessary at all. Just pay attention so I can pay for my groceries. ??

  2. Love feeling like a villain for using food stamps. The older cashiers really need to keep their thoughts to themselves. Little less side conversation a little
    More scanning.

Futhuremore and this goes with all market baskets. Maybe just maybe a hiring line cooks who can handle more the a single order and still mess it up might just might be a decent idea for your kitchen

  3. Since the pandemic we’ve been getting groceries delivered from other vendors, but man, I miss the Basket. Their produce was always exactly the same as you’d get at a farmer’s market. And the subs! So good. I love that their employees get benefits and profit sharing, too. A great place.

  4. They did their best by shutting down the cafe but I still get mobbed for money by homeless I can’t even walk into the store without getting begged. I suggest going to Hooksett or Bedford Market Basket they have the same deals without feeling unsafe.

  5. I usually don’t write reviews but considering this is a reoccurring situation I’m going to give 2 stars based solely on the employees they have collecting carts. Maybe you should find more tasks for them to do because they seem bored and I personally don’t appreciate having a strange person I don’t know standing directly behind me(waiting for my cart) so close I bump into them when turning around. It is rude and infringes upon people’s personal safety. Please train your staff better.
