They have new sets of carts which is a plus..no more annoyingly noisy carts skirting around the store!!! I just broke up entirely with the Fry’s on Campbell and Irvington and transferred my prescriptions to Walmart. (FRY’S self check out machines are entirely horrendous to utilize and I was over the atrociously long pharmacy and grocery lines!!!!???) The lady (her name escapes me at the moment), who assisted me with the information on how/when they’ll transfer my scripts was super professional, pleasant and friendly. The process took the 24 hours she stated and all of my scripts are ready!! Their new self check out machines are pretty simple to maneuver, and there is more space between people while checking out which is a bonus as well!! No more being cramped and feeling like folks are breathing down your neck while they wait for you to complete your order. I’ll do check ins in regards to the service and give updates as time goes on. This Walmart has been the one I’ve been going to for years. I’m happy to say that it’s definitely changed for the better after the fire. Workers are much kinder than before and even a lot more helpful.
If they don’t have anything in stock, they guide you to look online and give you a realistic expectation on how long delivery would take.
I wish I could give this store zero stars. I came in as a last resort because honestly I have been burned by their automotive department for sure. But.. when it’s Sunday and you require a new tire you don’t have many options. They absolutely are still terrible. First, as I am speaking to a tech another comes running up, cuts me off, and literally says cool story bro. You need to move. I will be having a mad customer coming soon and you will be after them. They then tried to discourage me from buying a tire from them because they didn’t want to do the workout putting it on. I then tried to call and talk to a manager and was on hold just to be hung up on. I then called back and the phone was taken off the hook and left sitting as I could he people talking in the background to be hung up on again. This store is terrible.
Took my vehicle in for an oil change and they broke my parking break. Then they said it was already broken previously. So i want to take my time and say that you terrible mechanics are liars and provide very poor service. Took 2 hours for an oil change and then you break my truck. I will be following up with a claim. Hopefully they are more professional in this department.
Horrible place. They had an hour until closing and refused to help me. After ringing them a few times they finally picked up and said they have a hour till close and they wouldn’t serve me, then hung up although I was just tryna see if I can schedule an appointment for the next day (06/29/30) then when I finally did get the chance to get my tires serviced they scratched up my brand new rims. I do not recommend coming here for your automotive needs. Very lazy and uneducated workers.
Very helpful workers. If they can’t answer your question they will find someone who can. Many know how to use their phones to find the item on their devices. I have always had a good experience in this store.
We went to the Speedway store at Kolb today and it was teaming with people. Luckily there were many employees that were helpful and they had lots of good deals.
