The sprayer has been broken for some time now then again they only spray one side. I always have to ride through again for my tires. It’s convenient for the price.

This was an excellent work and also the new site manager was also nice and welcoming to me when I didn’t know what to do but also they came out and cleaned around the area when it was dirty and everything but also he was working in the rain

Vacuums are really good! Car Wash didn’t get my Honda HRV very clean on the outside.
UPDATE: Went to a different location @ Wilkinson. Wash was excellent, got my back windshield under the wing. Vacuums had powerful suction. Will go back and hope my experience is like this all the time.

Not sure how my card was locked in and charged $120 for a membership when all I did was use it for 1 $10 3 months ago and when I called about the discrepancy all customer service wanted to do was keep me in a membership for a lower price for 3month’s instead of trying to figure out how this incident happened. The services is great but if I ever need to go back I think I’m just going to use cash to be on safe side so this doesn’t happen again.

Great help from the one kid at the car wash. Gave excellent help getting my bug ridden screen cleaned off. One star off for a number of dead or dying vacuums, but the kid was checking them as I left, so no doubt he’ll be getting them fixed up.

If you plan on going to Zips Car Wash on N Tryon for a car wash please be aware that if any damage happens to your car they will leave you hanging. On 12/5/22 I went through the car wash and their brush machine comepletely destroyed the windshield wipers on my Audi. On the site I filed an incident report, and was told the regional manager would be contacting me within 72 hours with a “resolution”. However, today makes it officially 72 hours and nobody bothered to contact me. I had to follow up myself and go back to the car wash today just for the “manager” to tell me that they do not honor claims or fix damages on vehicles that are 6 years or older even though they are liable for the damage and about 90% of the cars that come through there do not meet the criteria. However, this is not over that is why Civil Court and the Better Business Bureau exist. BEWARE OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR.

Downhill tremendously in the last 6 months!! The Vaccum stations were all closed or not working at full capacity. No Clean towels, staff sitting inside, no vending machine for armorall wipes or scents. And my car was still visibly dirty.

Sunday, September 10 around 3pm, Jordan, the only worker available put up cones to block to driver through wash. I asked him why, he says he’s working by himself and his replacement hadn’t shown up. I asked the number or email of the manager, he refused. He kept asking me if I want to cancel my subscription. This happens often at this location. Will probably give other guys a try.

I stopped here because it was close to my job, the employees were friendly and the vacuums worked amazing but that’s it! I should’ve tried the car wash before getting the monthly membership but it was $10 for the first two months so why not? Definitely want to cancel as soon as possible, the car wash itself seem to only last about 45 seconds. And with the unlimited car wash you can’t even add any upgrades, the mat cleaner doesn’t work, no towels and it left huge streaks on my car. Maybe I’ll try it again, since I have unlimited or maybe a different location but this one was just not it.
I figured I’d try out the one month pass for $10 to see how the washes/location convenience was throughout that time. For starters, accessing the location here is really bad. You can really only use it if you plan to turn right out of the car wash upon leaving. It is impossible to turn left onto Old Pineville Road and head back north towards Charlotte. An exit toward Tyvola Rd would fix this issue, but it’s gated off and inaccessible. The day my account was to be charged for the second month, I called Zips to cancel and they said you have to request cancellation a week in advance, they refused to refund the amount set to be charged (the day I was calling!) The individual on the phone said that my account info was not saved and input (email, phone, car make/model) by the staff and is still to this day blank, so I would never have even been able to log on and connect my membership number to an online account and check renewal dates. As for the wash itself, it’s underwhelming. Bugs stay on the bumper and smudges don’t leave the glass. Tire shine is the only worthwhile aspect. The first time I came they provided towels for hand drying the cars. I only saw them out that one time and have yet to see them return. Since Zips has charged me for another month, I’ll go several more times and return to this review to upload photos of the poor job it tends to do. Don’t bother with this poor wash and poor company.
I pulled up to the wash and seen that a young woman let a guy that was behind me go through. She moved the yellow cone for the gentleman that was behind me . He was able to get in front on me because I was turning around. Then I seen the worker walk up and help the man go through the wash.. the yelled at me we closed just like that. I’m a member here and I was treated rude and disrespected .. the date is 8-11-23. The time was 8:01pm
I arrived at 7:59 and seen a yellow cone had been put in all 3 lanes to go through.. so the guy behind me land me blocked where I had to make a 50 point road turn. So I see the gentleman get out his car walked to find a worker. So I was excited to go through the wash it’s Friday night. I’m a member of a local car club… we do alot of sponsorship and promotions. Àlso was general manager Rick Hendrick car dealerships .. so with all that being said.. the young woman that worked for zips car was highly rude and let the one guy go through and slammed the cone down in front of my car and yelled we closed then helped the gentleman proceed help him set up his member ship. Before I got my phone out I asked Just one more car and was polite. She yelled again we Closed. As a member the wash and was highly disrespected and her being rude like that .. she could have said this is my boyfriend and letting him go through. Any kind of explanation when have be nice.. so today is 8-11-23 time was 8:00pm . I’m today was my 1st time as a member and had went through early this morning. I told my car club about the wash and letting then know how great the wash was. After the experience I had this evening I will not be back this wash and I was going to promote with my car club and fellow car clubs at car shows that I attend but not going to happen now.. I would love to talk to manager about my experience today
Recurring transactions can’t be stopped or refunded. I called, emailed and still they refuse to refund me for a charge I did not authorize. I signed up for the $20 for 3 month TMobile subscription. I never wanted more months at the $40 a month rate. I’m having to call the credit card company to dispute this. Do not fall for promo rates, this place also never has towels because the 5 they own are always in the wash. Just go to Sam’s express wash or even auto bell.
