a month agoI absolutely love this Costco location. I started going to this one regularly after I moved a few years ago, and there has not been an issue so far. As always, the employees take care of their store and ensure that it is both clean and safe. 2 weeks agoIt’s always filled with people. I always wonder why Costco doesn’t open second one in the area. Most of the staff I encountered are friendly. It’s not easy when you have to deal with the huge crowd each day. Big thanks to the Asian gentleman at the Exit to check out the receipts, he draw a dinosaur when my kid handed him the receipt last week. It made my son’s day and the day after. He put the receipt underneath the pillow before going to the bed. a week ago5:30 pm 09/03/23. I felt so different then all other customers. The woman at the door noticed me and my family and asked for the membership card. She didn’t ask anyone else, but me with a baby in my arms. I think it is strange, because she let about 20 people to pass without checking their cards. My 5 year old kid asked if she was a polce woman. She made my day…in the last weekCostco. Best store ever! If Costco doesn’t have it, you don’t need it. If you see something you like, you need to grab it because they change stock often or it’ll sell out. Kirkland house products are always top quality. I love this location in Avondale. By far cheaper gas than the nearby Chevron that is $0.50 per gal higher. During week is best to shop or eat here as weekends are crazy busy.
This is the place you get value for money if you are a Costco member. One of them is refilling the propane which is $2.54 per gallon and $11.43 at max to fill the empty cylinder.
One thing needs to be careful when buying salads when we find it expires the same day they are selling. Even looking at it, they were definitely old. So, ensure to check the condition and its expiry date.
This is a great store. I use several in the valley and sadly, this one is the one I use the most but that is due to the incredibly crowded parking lot. It is not the fault of Costco so I will not negatively review them, but that parking lot is complete Chaos during busy hours.
The store is nice and clean and they have the usual staples that we have all come to love from Costco.
It’s generally a good Costco, but it’s always really crowded. They’re building a lot of new ones in town, but the crowds haven’t quite moved all out to them yet. Otherwise the food court’s good and they have a pretty good selection of fresh food, produce and bakery.
I never leave bad reviews, but today was shocking for me. I’ve always had great experiences at any Costco. Employees are always polite and helpful. I went to self checkout today at 5:44pm when a cashier named Laura was extremely rude, short lady in the most nasty tone told me I did something wrong which I didn’t do anything different from any of the other 1000 times I’ve been here. If I did do something wrong, I surely didn’t do it on purpose. I’m probably the most politest person you can come across. I didn’t expect this type of rudeness from an employee at Costco. I didn’t react or engage with her, I politely paid for my food and left. Laura shouldn’t be able to work in a position that has to be around people. Specifically customer service.
