a week agoExcellent staff always willing to help. One of the big benefits of living in Newport News is the Costco. They have a great selection of really good items. Don’t expect them to have every brand they only care the best price and best quality2 weeks agoFriendly staff and great selection of items!2 months agoA great warehouse store. Costco generally has everything I’m looking for. The staff is friendly and helpful and the store is always clean and welcoming. We go monthly and enjoy our visits. The free samples are fun and the restaurant is always good. I highly recommend them for all of your bulk needs.a month agoThis Costco does not feel like a Costco; it feels like a regular store that sells in bulk. There’s a long list of inconveniences that I won’t mention here (because nobody cares), except for one: smoking. There’s this covering that extends along the building from the entrance to a break area like 30 feet away (right next to the building). It’s a great idea so employee don’t have to walk in the sun to go on break, but unfortunately it’s really just a smoking lounge and that covering ensures that smoke can come unperturbed right back to the entrance and exit. Load of fun. By itself, this isn’t enough to make to cancel my membership, but combine it with everything else that’s wrong with this location, and I’m getting close to that point. I really wish they’d build a different one in the area!2 months agoSome of the basic precepts of customer service is: 1. Always assume the customer is right, until they prove otherwise 2. Never be rude to a customer, they pay your salary 3. Remain patient, even if the customer isn’t… you don’t know if they’re having a bad day 4. Compromise That being said, I went in to buy the same thing I always buy at Costco… pizza for my lunch. I’ve never been to Costco prior to the pandemic, and use my girlfriend’s card, so was unaware of how vigilant their rules are in regards to use of the card (your name MUST be on the account). Now I understand as well as others how people will abuse any system as long as they can. However, to stop customers from purchasing THEIR products while they’re in the checkout line (which takes far too long), demanding proof they’re on the account, is so many levels of ridiculous that I was appalled. I saw open self checkout registers, and an employee stalling the line, so I walked up to ask why she was impeding progress, as I only had a limited time for lunch….. UPDATE: Costco DOES listen, and altered their system to be more sensitive to their customers. Now they have signs AT the checkout explaining their rules, and are MUCH friendlier when dealing with said customers. It changed my one star to four 🙂

Fabulous place. The employees really look like they love their job. They are helpful and work fast. Ike and Tameka who helped me check out my items were funny (and entertaining). They listened to me (even though it was just small talk) and were quick at their job.
Also, you cannot beat the deals here. BUY THE MEMBERSHIP! You cannot regret it because you will save so much money in the long run.
I see in my life it’s best customer service at Cosco store they have alot of organic produce! Cheap and affordable! I absolutely love there selection of food and many of the food choices are healthy. The only issue I have is with getting food, the line is always crowded and takes a long time to get your food. Food staff takes a long time to serve. The cashier lines are usually always long, but staff are very kind and welcoming! 😊
Hearing Aid Center – Off the chart customer service. Absolutely amazing. They give the kind of service you hope for. Relly customer friendly. And the product is first class too!
Came here a few weeks ago with a few friends to do some grocery shopping and we had a very pleasant experience whie here they had a great selection of products from food to electronics to clothing and household/cleaning items we
weve able to find all that we needed rather quickly because everything was easy to locate. The employees were also very nice and helpful especially those that checked us out. I was also finally able to try the Costco hot dog too which was really good.
Come here once a month to stock up on staples. Line generally moves fast. Best time to go for me is an hour before they close on weekends. Short lines. But there’s still plenty in stock when it comes to food.
