a month agoI bought six uniform shirts for my daughter when they were on sale via a pickup order. After getting home I realized two of the shirts were not the item I ordered. Annoying but it happens so went back to switch them out. “Customer Service” couldn’t find the order with my credit card, so I pulled up the receipt. They couldn’t find the order because they gave me a different item than I had ordered. She finally located the order and said I could have the money back on my card. I explained that I didn’t want that I just wanted to go grab the item I purchased and switch with these incorrect ones. She said I couldn’t do that, so the money went back in my card. I went back and got the two correct shirts but now they’re ringing up full price, so I went back and asked if they could ring them up at the same price as it wasn’t my error. She agreed but gave major attitude during the entire return process. I ordered an item via pickup and was given the wrong item (store mistake), you are being paid to handle refunds. I have never gotten a correct order via online pickup orders so will not try again. I hope Target reviews this interaction with their staff and retrains them. I know I’ll be shopping elsewhere now.2 months agoExemplary Service and Expertise: Cole, a Tech in electronics is Superstar at Target!I recently had the pleasure of interacting with Cole, a phenomenal employee at Target, who works in the tech department. From the moment I approached him with my inquiries, it was evident that he possessed a wealth of knowledge and a genuine passion for his work. Cole’s exceptional service and technical expertise truly elevated my shopping experience to a whole new level.
First and foremost, Cole’s friendly and approachable demeanor immediately put me at ease. He greeted me with a warm smile and made it clear that he was genuinely interested in helping me find the best tech products to meet my needs. Despite the fast-paced nature of the store, Cole took the time to listen attentively to my requirements and asked insightful questions to better understand my preferences. Thank you Cole!
3 months agoI really enjoy my local Target. It has a wide variety of product to select from, and items are rotated often enough to maintain interest. There are products available here that I cannot find at my local grocer, especially for vegan and vegetarian options.2 weeks agoWe really love Super Targets. They are pricey but you get what you pay for. I love the smells, cleanliness, staff, and products. Occasionally, people of Walmart wander over but eh.2 months agoCame in today to get sausage and all the meat and stuff in the coolers are taped off and Tarp off with a sign saying power out. I understand stuff happens but a sign on the door would do wonders on the customer part. Then half the self check outs are off. Is because the heat or…. Power issues? TARGET PLEASE PUT UP NOTES ON THE DOORS

3 months agoGreat location, was able to easily find what we needed and able to check out quickly.3 months agoStopped into Target for some road trip essentials and was met by a 3 star grade experience. While the store is clean and the employees seemed busy getting the store ready, we were not greeted or acknowledged by the staff, which of course is not a need, but is nice. Target staff members work hard, and this was evident by a well maintained store.
Fruit selection was a bit sad – berries were tired and oranges on the verge of moldy. No grapes. Plenty of seasonally available cherries 🍒, though, which was a gem 💎 to find. No vegetables though!! Be aware that this is not a full fledged Target Superstore and most food products are frozen.
No check out lanes open. Only self checkout available, but the line moved relatively quick as the store was eerily empty for Memorial Day.
On a bright side, one can find a rotating, seasonal amusement street fair nearby for family enjoyment, though the rides look a little unsafe, in a parking lot.
2 years agoThe store was clean, but a lot of the women’s clothes were out of place or on the wrong hangers. Things that weren’t on sale we’re on the clearance rack, things that weren’t plus size were in the plus size area, etc. Many of the shelves in the tech department were only half stocked. Everyone there was very nice and helpful, though.4 months agoThis Target is relatively decent. I can usually find the products that I need and want, but NOT always.a year agoI am a frequent shopper at this location and only a few times has it been up to the typical Target experience that you’d get in the KC area. The bathroom is consistently filthy- trash everywhere, toilet paper holders are broken.. store is consistently a mess. Trash cans are consistently overflowing outdoors. The Starbucks is out of ingredients often. Misplaced items throughout the store. Customer service isn’t always friendly, they yell and the tone is rude. The people helping customer service and self checkout don’t smile or make eye contact, and there is rarely not* a lengthy line for self checkout since there are rarely any actual checkout lanes open with a human working. Much room for improvement. This is too busy of a location to be this way and the area truly needs attention.

I haven’t been to a target in years but I needed some lip balm while I was on the road. Jeeez nothings changed other than lack of cashiers
Targets are understaffed now like wal marts…I never go to Walmart for 3 reasons understaffed, terrible customer service , disgusting and unclean floors , carts and people
Generally, I would give Target a 5 star rating because they have excellent quality items reasonably priced. Their stores are usually clean and they seem to have a good number of staff providing good customer service. BUT, I had checked the website for the Ward Parkway for inventory on a couple of specific items that were not actually in the store. I did go a bit out of the way of my regular store locations. I ended up having to go all the way back to the Target at the Shawnee Mission store.
I’ve never encountered a Target that is as routinely poorly stocked as this location. And this is my ‘home’ Target. I’m a frequent Drive Up customer, and I can’t tell you how many times I get a notification that an item is out of stock. The pictures I have included were taken on 07-19-2023. We are talking about a store that is out of pantry staples like butter, eggs, and salad. With these sort of inventory levels, it’s almost like this location has been hit by another pandemic.
A team member, who may not have even been 21, denied me sale of over the counter nicotine replacement therapy patches because I couldn’t produce identification.
I am 61 years old.
I called to ask they corporate policy concerning this matter and Target is unable to provide it. The state law requires presenting identification for the purchase of tobacco products (cigarettes, vaping, smokeless, etc)
Stopping people from starting is good, but preventing people from stopping?
Target needs to do a better job in training
I never leave reviews, but this incident particularly upset me. Tonight 8/25 at 8:30 I was at this Target and I was browsing around for some clothes, I had a few I wanted to try on. When I went over to the fitting rooms, they had blocked off the fitting rooms while three employees stood there sorting through clothes that I am assuming they had to put away before the end of the night. To my understanding they close at 10:00. When I walked up they all looked at me and went silent. I walked away and just put everything back. Wasted my time. I was not the only one there shopping for clothes. I would think if there’s still a solid hour and a half til the store closes, the fitting rooms should be open too? 🙄
