GO TO A DIFFERENT TARGET!! This review is not based on a single experience… I work for a Shop+Delivery company that services Target stores and others and I’ve been to this location approx. 100-110 times in the last year and I’d say 90% of those trips I left the store irritated. Staffing is a major issue at this location.. good luck if you need something in a locked case or shelf because you’ll be waiting forever for someone to come help you. Service desk typically only has one person working regardless how many people are in line. (Took 40 minutes to get 1 item from electronic dept + checkout the prepaid order at service desk today… if i was at Fairway I would have been in and out 6-7 minutes). In my opinion this store lacks adequate Talent Acquisition/Training and overall Management. Alway seem under-staffed and the employees they do have, are incompetent to say the least. I’ve been to nearly every Target in Sacramento and Placer County (20+) and the staff here is arguably the worst out of them all. I hate to leave such a negative review but after the ridiculous amount of times I’ve left this store completely dissatisfied, I figured it was time.

Hi actually grew up at this target store. I wonder if the guy with a ponytail still works here? The store is super clean and well organized. I was greeted with a friendly smile and a “welcome in.” Restrooms were very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s always nice to take a memory down isle 21. J/k

If you must come here make sure you can find everything yourself and use the self checkout because expecting any help with finding something or even help bagging your groceries is too much trouble for employees here. I wish I was exaggerating. I have never encountered this level of disservice at a Target before. It’s to the point where you can’t even get anyone on the phone when you call the store with a question. This used to be a nice store with friendly folks so I don’t know what happened but every time I visit now I leave regretting having gone in.

It’s clean and a great location. There were a lot of checkout lines open which made it quick and easy to get through. However, they seem to have changed their exchange policy. I used to be able to exchange the Cat and Jack clothes when my kids would grow out of them but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. They only do refunds.

  1. If I could only shop at one store for the rest of my life… my wife would make me pick Target. Their store is always so clean and well organized. When we can find a staff member we can count on them to be helpful and friendly. As we get older it’s good to know that we can also fill a prescription for glasses at this location. They have about 10 self check out registers although I prefer good old-fashioned human interaction.
The bathroom cleanliness is hit or miss. Typical for the public.

  2. Great selection of items. Love that I can always find great deals with their Target Circle. Very clean store and well organized store. I also that they have an optical store inside. And the optical store is not expensive.

  3. This is by far my favorite Target Store in Roseville. It is very clean for the most part. Sometimes, some of their inventory tends to be low, or they aren’t stocked, and you have to order it at another location. Other than that, it is very well organized. The target app makes order pick up so easy, and the Drive up is fast overall (unless you go when it is super busy). The staff is always very helpful. The bathrooms are almost always clean. Returns are always easy, and I’ve never had a problem. Prices are great, especially when using the redcard. I enjoy coming to this store and shopping around for my household needs.

  4. Elizabeth was on the floor stocking items and I was telling my husband what school supplies we needed to find and every time I said something to him she called out to me where it was. I didn’t even ask she was just on it! Now that’s customer service 😁 Homa at self-checkout is awesome too! Thanks ladies. 😁

  5. Hi, this isn’t necessarily a bad review but a question for Target themselves. Are you allowed to search the opened boxes near the aisle? I’m a regular customer at Rocklin Target where the employees aren’t so strict, letting customers like me open them with or without permission, so coming here from a far distance was a special and “unique” occasion. My friend and I are students from RHS and we were searching for Hotwheels as a birthday gift for my friend. I brought my friend along as he knows way more about hotwheels than I do so when we arrived at the section, we found a folded up box containing hotwheels not taped up so when we carried it to another aisle to search it, we were confronted and escorted out by a security employee. I understand that we didn’t ask any target personnel for permission which this response was totally reasonable, but getting kicked out felt way too extreme and unnecessary. My friend and I never meant no malicious content in stealing product. I know about the current California law about petty theft and the events that took place because of it, but my friend and I were only looking what looked best as a present for my friend. We are customers interested in buying product, not thieves. If you’re the security employee who kicked us out, please know that this was very unnecessary and was a complete misunderstanding. Though not banned, I hope that if I ever shop at this location, there should be a far less crude punishment for something a security deemed as theft just because we’re not white.
